Love Island: Which couples are still together and who broke up?

Who's been pied and who is still each others type on paper?

By and
preview for Which Love Island Couples are still together?

Love Island may be over for another season, but we are as invested in the relationships (and break ups) of the Islanders as ever. There are plenty of contestants to turn to when it comes to Love Island success stories and, of course, the not so successful - including the new Love Island Games and Love Island All Stars pairings.

While some couples from the show are still each others types on paper, others have been well and truly pied. We've had weddings (oh hey, Olivia and Alex Bowen) and children (we're looking at you, Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde) alongside some very public breakups (er, no one mention Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood), plus some crossover couples from different series. Phew, a lot to take in then.

So, here's a look back at the Love Island couples that are still together now and which ones have sadly come to an end, starting with the most recent update. Enjoy!

Relationship status: split up

Tommy and Molly came second in the fifth series of Love Island in 2019, and were one of fan's favourite couples ever from the show. The 25-year-olds went on to be mega successful in their respective careers - with Tommy continuing his boxing and Molly launching her own fake tan.

In January 2023, they welcomed their first child together, a little girl named Bambi, later getting engaged in Ibiza the following July.

But sadly, it wasn't to be - just over a year later in August 2024, Molly took to Instagram Stories to share the couple had split after five years together.

In a statement posted on a blank black screen, she wrote: "Never in a million years did I ever think I'd have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end.

"I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

"I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all. Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time. I'll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x."

While Reuben originally made a play for Uma, she decided to leave the villa when Will was dumped, and so he and Grace decided to explore their connection. Relationship status: Still together

Congratulations to Matilda and Sean, who came third in the Love Island 2024 villa. Sean was one of the original line up this year, first coupling up with Nicole, before pairing with Samantha.

While Samantha later found a connection with Ronnie, it wasn't until bombshell Matilda arrived that Sean got his first Love Island kiss on the terrace. During Casa Amor, he formed connections with both Diamanté and Ruby, but chose to stick with his original partner, Matilda.

The pair went exclusive in the villa, and made it all the way to the Love Island final, coming third behind Mimii and Josh and Nicole and Ciaran.

Relationship status: Still together

Mimii had a *journey* in the Love Island 2024 villa, joining the villa on day one and coupling up with Munveer. On day five, she was left single after failing to coupling up, later sharing a connection with Ayo. While things looked to be going well for the pair, Casa Amor caused chaos as usual, with Ayo choosing to bring Jess back to the original villa.

That meant Mimii was left single, and vulnerable. That was until bombshell Josh arrived, and showed interest in Mimii and only Mimii. The pair went exclusive during their time in the villa, and were later crowned the king and queen of the summer Love Island villa. They shared the £50,000 prize money. Can't wait to see where this goes!

Zach Noble and Molly Marsh, Love Island 2023

ITV

Relationship status: Possibly together

Zach and Molly came fourth in the live Love Island 2023 final, after going through a rollercoaster of emotions in the villa. While Molly was initially matched with Mitchel by the public, Zach was the first bombshell to join the villa, and picked her to couple up.

Things then hit a rough patch when none other than Kady McDermott joined the villa, and chose to steal Zach from Molly - sending her home. When Molly rejoined the villa during Casa Amor, she and Zach coupled up straight away, with the pair going official in the villa. During their final declaration of love ceremony, Zach asked Molly to be his girlfriend, as well as the pair saying the three words: "I love you." The pair came fourth in the Love Island live final.

Then, seven months after leaving the Love Island villa, the couple announced their split. Following a number of reports the couple had broken up, a representative for Molly confirmed the split in a statement to Digital Spy on 12th March 2024.

In the statement, they said Molly and Zach had ended their relationship amicably and were still friends.

"Love Island’s Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble have made the decision to end their relationship in the last week," the representative said. "They both are still extremely close friends and will be supporting each other in their next ventures.

"The relationship has ended on good terms for both of them, and they wish nothing but the best for one another. They have both said, 'Relationships don't need to always end sour and sometimes parting as friends with the best memories is the best thing for everybody'."

By 28th April 2024, though, reports claimed the pair were back together and giving things another shot. According to The Sun, "When they split, they were both so upset - they've got a really strong bond. They never stopped talking in the weeks after the break up and have decided to give things another go."

A rep for Zach and Molly then revealed the pair were heading to Australia for a trip together, sharing with Cosmo UK on 7th May, "Molly and Zachariah have always remained friends, even when they both decided to break from their relationship almost 2 months ago. The couple have always supported each other and had similar interests, including seeing parts of the world and travelling.

"They are not putting pressure on their relationship at present, or labelling it, but are very excited to go travelling around Australia together for the next few weeks. They’re both really happy and enjoying each others company.”

Callum Jones and Jess Gale, Love Island All Stars 2024

Relationship status: Broken up

Callum Jones was the first bombshell to join Love Island All Stars in January 2024, followed very closely by his ex-girlfriend Molly Smith. Though the pair originally decided to couple up, it quickly became clear that they broke up for a reason, with Callum then getting to know Georgia Steel in the villa.

Eventually, though, it was bombshell Jess Gale - who arrived with her twin Eve - that he coupled up with, with the pair coming runners up in the final in February 2024.

By March, though, the pair were being hit by split rumours, especially when Callum was photographed arm in arm with another woman.

“Callum and Jess have been hanging on a by a thread but it’s very much over now," a source told The Sun. "Everyone was shocked to see them arguing and then Callum was seen cosying up with another blonde. Jess left the party alongside her mates and Demi Sims, putting the drama behind her."

We have reached out to a rep for Callum for comment.

Relationship status: Broken up

Paige and Finn were the winners of the first ever series of winter Love Island and talked about moving in together and getting a dog before they had even won the £50,000.

The couple were together for three years, living in a beautiful apartment in Manchester, but news of their split came in April 2023.

Paige later confirmed they were no longer together on Love Island: After Sun."I think we drifted apart," she said on the show. "We did lockdown together and any and every struggle we could have faced, we were faced with. But we're still good friends."

The pair then filmed Celebrity Ex on the Beach, which is airing on MTV in March 2024 (essentially a reality TV show that aims to reunite famous exes on screen), and rumours has it they wanted to give things another go following the show.

A source told The Sun: “Finn was overheard chatting to pals at the Celebrity Ex On The Beach launch earlier this week, where he told them he and Paige are giving things another go. The truth is, neither of them properly moved on after their split and they realised while filming the MTV reality show that there were still a lot of feelings there.

"After filming wrapped, they had a big heart to heart and decided they still wanted to be together. They’re taking it slowly, as they obviously had issues before splitting, but they’re committed to making it work this time."

So far, neither Finn or Paige have discussed what's going on with them - we'll be waiting with baited breath!

Toby Aromolaran and Georgia Steel, Love Island All Stars 2024

Relationship status: Broken up

Toby and Georgia first met in the Love Island Games villa, a challenge show which combined past Islanders from the UK, Australian and American versions of the show. While they were paired up, their journey was cut short when they were dumped from the show.

Fast forward to January 2024, and Toby was named as part of the Love Island All Stars original line up - with Georgia S later landing as a bombshell. While she made connections with Tom Clare and Callum Jones in the villa, and Toby was getting to know Arabella Chi, he eventually picked Georgia during a recoupling, and the pair made it all the way to the final.

In the villa, they "locked it off", essentially going exclusive, but news broke of their split a month later in March 2024.

A source told The Sun, "It's true they have split. Toby was the one who called it a day and it came completely out of the blue for Georgia. She feels completely blindsided and gutted. She thought things were going really well for them, so it's been a real blow."

Georgia then took to her Instagram Stories to confirm the news, writing, "After seeing the reports regarding my relationship with Toby I feel it's only right for me to be transparent and truthful with you all. It is true Toby has called things off. It has taken me by complete surprise and I'm still trying to process it and come to terms with it all.

"They say some people are in your life for a lifetime and some just for a chapter."

Relationship status: Broken up

Guys, we literally hate to be the bearer of bad news, and honestly never thought we'd have to write this piece, but we regret to inform you after four years together, one of Love Island's strongest couples, Eva and Nas have split.

Nas confirmed the news of the couple's split on the evening of 4 March, writing on his Instagram Story: "Unfortunately, Eva and I have decided to end our relationship. There is no bad blood or wrong doing - it was a mutual and completely amicable decision. We tried to work things out over the past couple of months but decided this was for the best, and are both at peace with the situation.

"I am grateful to Eva and her family for the past four years and will cherish those memories, and wish her all the best going forward. Thank you for all your continued love and support, I really do appreciate it ❤️."

Nas and Eva met on the first winter series of Love Island in 2020, when Eva entered as a bombshell in Casa Amor and they'd stayed together ever since.

So far Eva has not publicly commented on the breakup, but we hope they're both doing OK following this announcement.

Arabella Chi and Adam Maxted, Love Island All Stars 2024

Relationship status: Not exactly together

Arabella had a tricky time in the Love Island All Stars villa, struggling to form a proper connection. First, she was paired with Chris Taylor, before he called things off. She then coupled up with Toby Aromolaran, who made the shock decision to choose Georgia Steel in a recoupling without letting Arabella know.

Thankfully for her, Adam then arrived as a final bombshell, immediately picking Arabella in a recoupling. The pair spent a night in the Hideaway together, before being dumped from the villa just before the final.

The pair left the All Stars villa on the 19th February 2024, and then, on the 5th March, Adam shared a slightly worrying update about the state of their relationship.

“I wouldn’t say we’re together as such but we did have an amazing week in there,” he told BelfastLive. “Arabella had just come out of a serious relationship before she went on the show and she did really like the guy that she was with so I told her that we’ve only known each other for a week and we’ve had an amazing week. I’m glad I came in and helped her to enjoy her last week and there’s definitely something there, but I just don’t want to force it on her.”

Fair enough!

Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk, Love Island All Stars 2024

Relationship status: Still together / Each other's type on paper

Georgia and Anton had an interesting journey in the Love Island All Stars villa, with Anton making a beeline for her at the very beginning. While things were seemingly going well for them, Georgia admitted toLove Island All Stars 2024 getting the ick, and turned her attention towards bombshell Casey O'Gorman.

Despite having history, Georgia and Casey didn't reconnect, and she decided to give things a proper go with Anton, attempting to move things past the friend-zone. The pair made it all the way to the Love Island All Stars final, though their fellow Islanders did voice doubts about how genuine the relationship was. So far, they appear to be making a go of things on the outside.
