What does good sex look like, for you? Whether you’re into wilder, kinkier antics, or you prefer sex to be more slow and sensuous (or perhaps you simply like switching it up), we know that the best way to really enjoy sex is to explore and find what works best individually.

Yet, so often, whenever sex is reported on in the news it’s accompanied by headlines that try to lump us all into one group. Think “Gen Z is having less sex than ever” or “Gen Z is kissing monogamy goodbye” — with opinion pieces talking about our sex lives as if we all fall into one category or box, completely missing out on the fact that what we like changes over time and good sex looks different for everyone.

So, while Cosmopolitan has been breaking boundaries when it comes to talking openly and honestly about sex for decades, we know it’s not up to us to tell you what a fulfilling, happy, and healthy sex life looks like. Sure, we can guide you in the right direction, reviewing the latest sex toys and getting sex and dating advice from both the experts and those (like you) who are out there and navigating the very real highs — and lows — of 2024’s dating and sexual landscape. And while we try to create a space that’s open and accessible to everyone, what works for one person, just doesn’t work for another.

In 2021, we shattered the myth that good sex = multiple orgasms by holding our biggest ever orgasm survey, and now we want to take that even further and discover what good sex looks like to you. Because the fact is: what turns your friends on might give you the major ick, and vice versa. We don’t want to treat you like you’re a statistic; instead, we want to know what good sex looks like for each of us as individuals (and break down some damaging myths at the same time).

That’s why we’re launching 2024’s Cosmopolitan Good Sex Survey, and we need your help! Want to know whether your idea of good sex is similar to others? Or want to let us know what sort of sex content you’d like to see from us in the future? Then fill in our survey to let us know…
