After far too long, Love Is Blind UK has finally arrived on Netflix and sees a bunch of British singles fall in love sight unseen and (hopefully) make it down the aisle to marry their forever person. However, as we know from the OG version, this doesn't always quite go to plan, with arguments, cheating and love triangles making things far more complicated. And easily one of the biggest love triangles to happen on the UK series is between Nicole, Sam and Benaiah.

From accusations that Sam isn't on the show for the right reasons, to Nicole changing her mind and trying to reconcile with Benaiah at the end of episode four, so much has gone down in this complicated love triangle. So here's your quick lil recap of everything that's happened so far.

The Sam, Nicole and Benaiah love triangle explained

Ok, so in episode one Nicole goes on dates with both Sam and Benaiah. She seemed to immediately hit it off with both men, although it seemed Nicole and Benaiah were very aligned on their views on spirituality and outdoor interests.

At the same time Sam was also getting to know Jasmine, however, she ended the pair getting to know each other in the middle of episode two. Early on she told Sam she thought he was only telling her what she wanted to hear, which Sam was not very happy to hear. And then later in the episode she said she wanted to focus on her connection with Bobby.

So then Sam put all his energy into Nicole. Towards the end of episode two however, Nicole seemed to be leaning more towards Benaiah, who told her he was thinking of a future between the pair but that he wasn't ready to propose yet.

Things then ramped up a gear when Sam gave Nicole his bracelet and told her she was what he was looking for his whole life.

Nicole, during a date with Benaiah, then expressed her doubts about Benaiah's commitment to their relationship and future. However, Benaiah then attempted to squash her doubts, telling Nicole he wanted to be with her, but then Nicole said she had a stronger connection with Sam.

And then Benaiah dropped the bombshell that he thought Sam wasn't on Love Is Blind UK for the right reasons.

Why does Benaiah think Sam is on the show for the wrong reasons?

Don't worry we're not ending things there. At the start of episode three Benaiah tells Nicole, "I know with Sam, from what's been said, he's not here for genuine reasons. Or he's at least saying that indicates he's not here for genuine reasons. I believe he is here for fame, not love."

Ok but why does Benaiah have all these suspicions? Well, we don't actually get to see much interaction between Sam and Benaiah, but there is one moment in episode two which could give us some indication as to what has gone down between the pair.

After Sam told Nicole he couldn't wait to see her and pick her up in episode two, Nicole then said she wasn't sure if she'd be able to. Back in the men's living quarters, Sam then discussed this with some of the other guys and appeared to be speculating on Nicole's appearance.

"She just said one weird thing though, it was so weird," he explained. "So I said, 'I can't wait to run down, meet her, kiss her, cuddle, pick you up, and kiss you and cuddle you.' Nicole freaked out and she was like, 'oh my god, yeah me too. But like oh, you might not be able to [pick her up]'.

"Like was she implying something, I like meat, but, like that's fine if someone's a bit like, but that's a weird thing to say."

As we all know Love Is Blind is based on people falling in love without focusing on each other's appearances, and this conversation does see Sam focusing on the outer appearance of Nicole.

While this is not to suggest this is the reason Benaiah is suspicious of Sam, shortly after this conversation Benaiah chats to Steven and questioned the authenticity of Sam being on the show. So it's all starting to add up.

What happened with Sam and Nicole?

Despite Benaiah's confession, Nicole continued to pursue her relationship with Sam, who then proposed to her.

She cut things off with Benaiah, and at the beginning of episode four she finally met her fiancé Sam in the flesh.

However, shortly after meeting Nicole seemed to be doubting their connection. Before saying goodbye to each other Sam said to Nicole "I think I love you" and Nicole didn't reply. While doing her interview with Netflix as they fixed her transmitter, Nicole is then heard saying, "Guys, I don't know what I've let myself into here. This is so dangerous territory isn't it?"

And it appears she didn't want to enter the territory anymore as towards the end of episode four the pair revealed they had called off their relationship and wouldn't be heading to Crete with the rest of the group.

Are Benaiah and Nicole together now?

Following their breakup, Nicole then realised she had made a mistake and should actually be with Benaiah instead.

At the end of episode four, we see Nicole and Benaiah meet up, but don't get any indication of where their relationship ends up.

During the teaser Nicole and Benaiah are seen together multiple times, so it's likely that they do at least progress their relationship on the show, but as for if they're together in real life that's another story we'll have to wait for.
