Create a 3-inch section at the crown of the head and comb through so it is smooth and free of tangles.
Starting from the ends, roll the hair toward the base of the section, away from the face.
Leave in for 10-15 minutes. For best results, use rollers when hair is still warm from a blowout.
Remove the rollers and tousle hair to break up shape.
Set with a Drybar hairspray.

Great but they do need clips
These are brilliant rollers and I use them every wash day, but as with most 'self grip' rollers, they're not very grippy if your hair is longer. If your hair can go around the roller more than once, you'll benefit from a clip. On the upside though, unlike other velcro rollers I've used they don't snag my hair at all when I remove them. One box might not be enough for all your hair, but it's enough for root and crown lift.

Great Heat-Free Styling
These rollers do grip pretty well (although having long, thick hair I still secure them with clips) and come in two different sizes, which works well for building volume (especially in my layered hair). I wouldn't say, however, they are any more remarkable than other rollers I've tried and are definitely more expensive. Pleased I have them and will continue to use, but there are cheaper options that work just as well.

Disclaimer: my hair is medium length so just below my shoulders BUT I cannot for the life of me get the smaller roll to stay in. I saw loads of online tutorials with people curling the top of their hair with these before using heatless curlers on the rest. Maybe it’s me but I just can’t get them to stay in.
