In this roundtable we will explore AI and Cinematic creation, XR innovation and we’re also pleased to welcome the creative team behind Apple Vision Pro’s breakthrough "Encounter Dinosaurs.” As artists quickly discover, AI, XR and Spatial technologies provide pallets of creative choices unknown to them prior to this amazing journey.

Robert Legato is among Hollywood’s legendary Visual Effects Supervisors. He has won an Academy Award for Titanic in 1998, worked on the visual effects teams of innumerable of the incredible Star Trek franchise. Mr. Legato was an original team member of Digital Domain, the renown visual effects company founded by James Cameron, Stan Winston and Scott Ross, it’s films included “Apollo 13,” “Interview with the Vampire,” and of course the epic production, “Titanic.” He has been nominated for five Academy Awards, “The Lion King” and “Apollo 13,” and has won three, for “Titanic,” “Hugo,” and “The Jungle Book.”

 

Eric Levin, Chief Content Officer, Publicis Media US: As GM & Chief Content Officer, Eric leads the content and innovation practice for Publicis Media in the US and globally. Currently, Eric is working across Publicis to develop long-term content and innovation strategies for a number of Groupe clients. In his prior role as Global Chief Content Officer of Spark Foundry, Eric lead content development and production for all Spark Foundry clients. His team has created innovative work with brands that include DQ, REI, Starbucks, Red Lobster, and more. Eric’s excellent leadership and pioneering work resulted in numerous Cannes Lions nods and in 2017, in Adweek’s prestigious list of Media All Stars. Prior to joining Spark Foundry, Eric worked with some of the world’s leading brands at Mondelez International, including Oreo, Trident, Ritz, and Wheat Thins. As a direct result of Eric’s impact, the agency was awarded a Gold Cannes Lion in Branded Entertainment in 2012.


Ed Ulbrich is the Chief Content Officer & President of Production at Metaphysic, Inc., the industry leader in developing AI technologies and machine learning research that creates immersive photorealistic content across film, tv, music, advertising, live entertainment and more. Ed is also the former CEO of James Cameron’s Digital Domain, former global President of Method Studios, award winning producer, and pioneer in virtual human performances and advanced visual effects. He has over 25+ years in the visual effects (VFX) and film, TV, and advertising production industries and has led global teams of up to 2,000 employees spanning four countries and managed P&L operations with nine-figure budgets. Ed has executive produced visual effects for some of the biggest blockbuster movies in history including Top Gun: Maverick, Aquaman, Avengers: Infinity Wars, Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, Suicide Squad, and many more; and executive produced the Academy Award©-winning visual effects for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, What Dreams May Come, and Titanic. Ed produced the epic sci-fi film Ender’s Game (Lionsgate - 2013) starring Harrison Ford, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Viola Davis and spearheaded the groundbreaking Tupac Shakur "Hologram” with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. He has created visual effects in music videos for The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, and many more; and over 500 commercials.


Robert Keyghobad began his career in Hollywood working for former Sony Pictures Entertainment CEO Peter Guber. Over the past 25 years, Robert has set up several major studio deals including the HBO series “Carnivàle,” and 20th Century Fox’s detective comedy series “Honey Vicarro” with Jenny McCarthy. Robert has collaborated with renowned figures such as pilot director David Nutter of "Game of Thrones" and producer David Heyman of the "Harry Potter" franchise. Transitioning into the realm of video game development, Robert assumed a role at Electronic Arts (EA) within its worldwide virtual production studio in Vancouver, Canada. During his time at EA, he oversaw all aspects of physical and virtual production on a global scale. From there he worked with Starz Entertainment on the sci-fi drama series “Incursion,” created by Steven DeKnight (Spartacus), and was the Virtual Production Producer for Legendary and Universal Studios on “Warcraft.” His contributions extended to groundbreaking projects like director Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Oscar-winning virtual reality short "Carne y Arena." After working for Netflix covering over 48 International Original series projects, he returned to the freelance market. His recent endeavors include the planning and overseeing the construction of the Amazon Virtual Production Stage in Culver City, and he served as Executive Producer of both "Prehistoric Planet Immersive" and the only narrative interactive piece for the Apple Vision Pro: “Encounter Dinosaurs."


Kymber Lim, CEO & Producer, MAJYK Studios: After consulting for Netflix International Originals to manage projects in Asia, Lim founded MAJYK Studios in Los Angeles and Seoul to develop and produce diverse content and consult producers / studios looking to film or post in South Korea. Lim is an Emmy award-winning visual effects producer with an extensive background in production and media technology that includes working closely with all the major studios and streamers as well as brands and branded content. She also consults / advises tech companies and co-founded and sold a fully funded tech company. Lim assisted many influential producers and directors such as Lorenzo DiBonaventura, Michael Bay, Gore Verbinski, Joe Kosinski, Steven DeKnight, and Bong Joon-ho on the visual development of their projects. She also ran Digital Domain's production company that produced Ender's Game, launched and managed the Film & Television division at Psyop and at Entity FX; ran R&D on concepts with technical and budgetary challenges; created original content using game engines; and produced virtual reality experiences for Samsung and Paramount Studios. Lim consulted for companies such as Netflix, AppleTV, Amazon Studios, Disney, and other Asian and domestic studios and production companies. She has produced for Microsoft, Starz, Paramount, IMAX, Digital Domain, and Bento Box Entertainment. She is a member of The Producer's Guild, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and is the Founder and Chair of KALH (Korean American Leaders in Entertainment), a non-profit supporting and mentoring other Korean Americans in entertainment. She continues to work with the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), Overseas Koreans Foundation, and The Korean Consulate Generals office in Los Angeles.
