Spin: The Grizzlies had a rough time with injuries in the 2023-24 season, and the team is not catching a break even in the offseason. Jackson suffered the injury while playing basketball outside Dallas on Aug. 27 when he had an unstable landing on his right foot. A timetable for recovery has not been provided, but it wouldn't be surprising if Jackson is not fully recovered for the start of the regular season in late October.
