Worst Ethical Consumer rating for environmental reporting
In May 2019 Ethical Consumer viewed the Teva website for the company's environmental policy or report. There were a few mentions of the environment and Teva said in very vague terms that it was concerned about protecting it. However, there was no detailed discussion, no quantified targets, and no independently verified environmental data.
A strong policy would include two future, quantified environmental targets, demonstration by the company that it had a reasonable understanding of its main environmental impacts, be dated within the two years and have its environmental data independently verified.
Teva did not meet any of these criteria therefore it received Ethical Consumer's worst rating for Environmental Reporting.
