Jeremy Clarkson has been revealed to have professional ties to Prince Harry. The Clarkson's Farm star sparked furore in 2022 over his column about Meghan Markle sparking global headlines, but it appears the presenter turned farmer is now linked to the Sussexes.

According to MailOnline's Richard Eden, Johnny Hornby, who was chairman of Prince Harry's charity Sentebale, is the landlord of Jeremy's new pub, the Windmill, in Burford, Oxfordshire.

"I can disclose that the license to serve alcohol was transferred to a company called Baobab Operations Ltd last month. The firm is run by Johnny Hornby, the advertising king who was chairman of Prince Harry's African charity Sentebale," he wrote in his latest column.

His business partner, Mark Devereux, is also said to be noted on the application.

It has been reported that they have the green light to serve alcohol at the Windmill ale house.

Mr Hornby is a longtime friend of the Duke of Sussex and served as a trustee for Harry’s Sentebale charity tackling HIV in Africa for eleven years but quit the charity last year.

Jeremy, 64, bought his pub for £1 million back in June and opened its doors early at the weekend for the Euros final, which saw Spain defeat England in a nail-biting match.

Meanwhile, the former Top Gear presenter sparked criticism for his controversial column in The Sun about former Suits actress, Meghan.

In the column, Jeremy described how he hated Meghan on a “cellular level” and many of his remarks were met with widespread condemnation.

He later apologised for his comments.
