COVID-19 Misconceptions

This content is available in both English and Español

SciCheck’s COVID-19/Vaccination Project was initiated in December 2020 with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The grant period ended June 30, 2024, although our work correcting COVID-19 misconceptions continues. The foundation had no control over our editorial decisions, and the views expressed here do not necessarily reflect the views of the foundation.

Our goal is to increase exposure to accurate information about COVID-19 and vaccines, while decreasing the impact of misinformation. On this page, you’ll find answers to commonly asked questions, as well as links to our articles debunking misinformation. All of our COVID-19 stories can be found here.
