The first trailer for Spy has arrived, and it shows off a bit of a Bridesmaids reunion. You have director Paul Feig once again behind the camera with Bridesmaids stars Melissa McCarthy and Rose Byrne in what looks like a pretty funny spin on the spy movie genre.
In the film, McCarthy stars as a no-confidence, low-level CIA agent who's trapped behind a desk and never ever sees any action. But when the identities of all of the badass spies (Jason Statham and Jude Law among them) are compromised, McCarthy is the only one left to go undercover and save the day.

With Bridesmaids and especially The Heat, Paul Feig is carving out this great career as a guy who delivers smart, clever and exciting female-driven movies that feel like a breath of fresh air. We loved both Bridesmaids and The Heat -- and think Feig is the perfect guy to helm a female-driven Ghostbusters reboot -- so you bet we'll be there when Spy comes out on May 22.
