SCOTTSDALE, AZ (April 23, 2024) – Ryan Hatch, senior vice president and market manager for Bonneville Phoenix, has been named the 2024-25 Fiesta Bowl Yellow Jacket Committee Chair. An eight-year committee member, Hatch enters his one-year term after serving as chair-elect last season.

Hatch oversees the Yellow Jacket Committee's fundraising, volunteerism and engagement efforts as committee chair in the first year of the College Football Playoff's expanded postseason that includes the CFP Quarterfinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl on December 31.

"Ryan Hatch has poured his heart into the Fiesta Bowl Organization since he first put on the yellow jacket eight years ago. With his vision, creativity and dedication, Ryan is a perfect leader for our Yellow Jacket Committee as we enter a new era of college football," said Fiesta Bowl Executive Director & CEO Erik Moses. "The Yellow Jacket Committee is well known within our Arizona communities for the selfless volunteerism and world-class hospitality its members demonstrate, and will excel even greater with Ryan at the helm."

Hatch first started as a Yellow Jacket Committee member in 2016, following his involvement with the Fiesta Bowl as a media and marketing partner upon joining Bonneville International in 2006. He quickly rose within the committee, taking on his first leadership position as futures assistant chair in 2018.

Hatch took on assistant chair of fundraising responsibilities in 2019, sales coach in 2020, recruiting assistant chair in 2021 and fundraising chair in 2022 prior to serving as chair-elect last season. In each of the last three years, Hatch played a key role on the game operations executive committee and is in line to chair the game operations committee in 2025-26 when the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl will be a CFP Semifinal.

"I'm humbled and honored to have the distinct privilege of being the Fiesta Bowl Yellow Jacket Committee Chair and leading an amazing group of men and women who are passionate about improving our community through fundraising and volunteerism," Hatch said. "It's exciting to think about the incredible impact we will make throughout the year with our community events, culminating as we showcase our best-in-class hospitality to our guests and partners while hosting the first-ever CFP Quarterfinal on New Year's Eve."

A Salt Lake City native and proud alumnus of the University of Utah, Hatch oversees Bonneville Phoenix's business operations of local media properties KTAR News 92.3, Arizona Sports 98.7 and ESPN 620, one of six western U.S. markets under Bonneville International. During his tenure at Bonneville, Hatch launched Arizona's first major league all sports radio station as program director of Sports 620 KTAR and was operations manager for Bonneville Seattle.

In addition to the Fiesta Bowl Yellow Jacket Committee, Hatch is also active with ASU's Cronkite Endowment Board of Trustees, Phoenix Children's Corporate Executive Board, the Arizona Sports and Entertainment Commission and is currently an honorary commander at Luke Air Force Base.

Hatch resides in Scottsdale with his wife, Angelica, and their three children, Layla, Weston and Dylan.
