A pair of rookies led the Houston to the playoffs for the first time in four seasons. First-year head coach DeMeco Ryans and second-overall pick C.J. Stroud led the Texans' to a 9-6 record, finishing first in the division and securing a home game in the first round of the playoffs. With Stroud on a team-friendly deal, Houston bolstered it's roster by adding star wideout Steffon Diggs and running back Joe Mixon in hopes of making a dynamic offense even more explosive.
