After Mike Tomlin led Pittsburgh to its 25th straight non-losing season, the organization looked to bolster the roster, having not made a deep playoff run since the AFC Championship loss in 2016. The Steelers brought in two high-profile quarterbacks in Russell Wilson (one-year, $1.2 million) and Justin Fields (acquired in a trade with the Bears). Pittsburgh also made a rather non-Pittsburgh move, signing Patrick Queen, the top inside linebacker free agent to a three-year, $41 million deal. While Wilson seems to be on the
downturn of his career, and Fields still remains somewhat of an unknown entering his fourth pro season, the Steelers defense has always been the franchise's strong point, and adding Queen to stars Minkah Fitzpatrick and TJ Watt will make that strength even more formidable.
