A retelling of Hitler's political life from 1919 to 1925, to the moment he was paroled from prison after the failed putsch of 1923. A book that dramatically weaves together a few new sources with relatively well-known bits and pieces from a few published works and concentrates on the violent atmosphere of the time and on Hitler as the gifted conveyor of his obsessive hatreds, particularly, of course, of the Jews. A not altogether successful work on the borderline between history and fiction.
