Phoenix weekend freeway closures (Aug. 23-26)

Westbound Interstate 10 will be narrowed between the U.S. 60 and 24th Street from 8 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Monday for the Broadway Curve Improvement Project; southbound State Route 143 will be closed between the Loop 202 Red Mountain and I-10 from 10 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Monday for a traffic shift; the northbound Loop 101 Pima will be closed at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday for bridge work; the eastbound Loop 202 Santan will be closed between Gilbert and Williams Field Roads from 10 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project; the westbound U.S. 60 will be narrowed between Superstition Springs Boulevard and Gilbert Road from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday for pavement maintenance; and northbound I-17 will be closed between the I-10 Split and Buckeye Road from 9 p.m. Saturday through 9 a.m. Sunday for pavement maintenance.
