2 firefighters injured, 9 displaced from structure fire near I-11, Boulder Highway

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Clark County Fire Department said 2 of their firefighters were injured while responding to a structure fire Friday evening.

Officials said they responded to a fire at 415 Greenbriar Townhouse Way. This is near the I-11 and Boulder Highway. The first units arrived around 5:13 p.m.

Firefighters said they saw smoke and flames coming from the first-floor patio. The fire then spread to the second-floor balcony and attic.

No people were found during a search. A total of 38 personnel responded. CCFD was supported by Las Vegas Fire and Rescue and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Two firefighters received “minor” injuries, and did not need a transport to the hospital. 9 people were displaced and are looking to families for housing, CCFD said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
