I mostly love the texture and smell, which had me plowing through a full bottle. I would never say an eye cream could replace a concealer, but this cream certainly makes undereye concealer work even better. The slight pearlescence gives you a head start in the brightening department, yet never looks sparkly and doesn’t pill under makeup. This mask felt so luxurious! From the beautiful packaging to the silicone applicator brush and gua sha sculptor, I felt like an artist applying this mask and felt so zen as I used the jade tool to apply the product to my face. I’m a hard sell for deodorant. Beauty editor confession: I don’t really wear deodorant or antiperspirant. But that’s why I really loved doing this test. I used the bar on one pit with nothing on the other, and at the end of the day did a sniff test. The good news: This formula really did the trick! The concept of adding a concentrated formula to water in your bathroom to reduce the carbon footprint of bottles and shipping might seem like a no-brainer, but if you saw the chemistry needed pull off a product like this, you’d quickly realize: It’s a big-brainer! The low-impact packaging is very modern and simple, but it’s the formula, which maintained its texture and efficacy through many weeks and temperatures, that is really the big accomplishment in my eyes. —K.B.

Most tinted lip balms leave my lips dry (in fact, most lip balms leave my lips dry—I’m that sensitive), but this balm gave me no issue or flakes, and the color built really subtly. I also like that the firm bullet made it easier to control color, whereas liquid tints can be a bit more difficult to keep inside the lip lines. In fact, I could apply without a mirror, no problem. My favorite shade is Bêtise, which makes it look like I just stained my lips with a strawberry Popsicle. —K.B.

This mascara delivered on all levels: Not only did it give my lashes incredible volume, lift, and length, but it really lived up to its name. I love that the company refills the mascara tubes and even provides a reusable mini mailing envelope to send back your empty tube to be refilled. Truly sustainable beauty at its finest. —M.W.

Who knew a reusable cleansing kit could be fun? The terry cloth is supersoft, and the cute headband and scrunchies came in handy while face washing and putting on makeup. I loved the makeup remover rounds, and the best part is that everything can get thrown in the wash. —M.W.

I remember as a child watching my mom use baby talcum powder to fight oily hair. Dry shampoos have evolved since then, and safer alternatives include starch as the main ingredient instead of talcum. Henry Rose Flora Carnivora Eau de Parfum is a subtle yet beautifully sensual fragrance! I am not usually a perfume person, but I really enjoyed this scent, with notes of earthy vetiver and jasmine. The bright orange flower comes through the most, but it has musky twist that makes it stand out from other floral fragrances. —M.W.
