GLAMOUR's Women of the Year Awards are officially returning for 2022, honouring the gamechangers and feminist heroes who inspire us every single day. Even better? We're returning with an IRL ceremony for the first time in five years to celebrate the event's 16th anniversary.
Taking place on Tuesday, 8th November, the Women of the Year Awards will welcome a whole host of special guests, honourees, and presenters. Past winners include the likes of Nicole Kidman, Naomi Campbell, Angelina Jolie, Lady Gaga and Victoria Beckham.
While GLAMOUR's Women of the Year Awards are all about recognising influential (not to mention empowering) women, the event is further renowned for its iconic celebrity moments. Think Nicole Kidman changing her name – temporarily, of course – to Nicole KidWoman. We love it. Or when Anna Kendrick declared herself a “destroyer of male worlds.” What's not to love?
The Women of the Year awards also have a proud history of celebrating new talent, whether it's rising stars (which Dua Lipa – would you believe it – won our award for back in 2012) or activists running incredible campaigns, such as one of last year's winners, Amika George, who successfully campaigned for free period products to be made available in England in 2020.
