Isaac and the Egg Isaac and the Egg by Bobby Palmer

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jess Scott Hi Maria, I'm glad you enjoyed the blog novel. Thanks so much for the thorough review ;) (and cross-posting the review on other places!). I think my first two books (writing/editing/publishing/marketing) have exhausted me quite a bit...I'm looking forward to "continuing on a degree" soon (in the process of registering for classes). I think it'd be a nice change of pace.

Thanks again. Have a great weekend; I will send good thoughts/good karma your way in the meantime.

Jess.

message 51: by Quentin

Quentin Hi Maria --

Thanks for your recent comment regarding 'Horse Latitudes' in the Amazon UK fiction forum "Why hasn't somebody made the movie??"

Unless the book in question is plot-driven, genre fiction (ala Tom Clancy), gotta stand by the old adage "Great books make bad movies." Great books are the product of great writing. It's all about words. Films are a visual medium. One doesn't readily translate into the other (or with the same effect). I've always felt novelists are closer to musicians or composers than screen writers. Tho I wouldn't mind some Hollywood producer writing me a fat check for the movie rights.

By the way, hope you have a very happy birthday!

Quinn
