Núria Bendicho Giró es licenciada en Filosofía y profesora de griego y latín en una academia. Lectora voraz y admiradora de William Faulkner, ha viajado por medio mundo y trabajado cortando abetos en Dinamarca. En 2020 presentó su primera novela, Terres mortes, al premio Llibres Anagrama y, aunque no lo ganó, el jurado recomendó su publicación. Considerada por La Vanguardia como la mejor novela escrita en catalán del 2021, el debut de Núria Bendicho estuvo entre las obras finalistas a los premios Llibreter, Òmnium y Finestres.
