The rest of the realm can burn, but I made sure you will always be safe.
Jorah Demir has a huge secret. With the Assemblages still ongoing and with magic now running through her veins, the king’s watchful eyes have never felt more threatening.
Jorah is forced to quickly adapt to a life she wasn’t prepared for when she finds herself more powerful than she ever could have imagined. Struggling with her new magic, and fighting for the future they all deserve, Jorah knows it’s a matter of life or death as they attempt the impossible in taking down the king.
Will the weight of the magic be too much to bear? Or will it be the advantage she and Prince Krewan need as they desperately hunt down the object amplifying the king’s power? And as the Assemblages finally come to an end, who will be named the true heir to the throne of Wylan?
Tricia Wentworth is the award-winning author of The Culling series. Though she began writing at a young age, she didn’t realize her love of writing would take over until after she graduated college with her teaching degree. She currently resides in Nebraska with her husband, three sons, and English bulldog. She hoards notebooks, pretty pens, books, and tea. When not reading, writing, or momming, she can be found squeezing in a run or feeding her sugar addiction by baking something ridiculously delicious.
This is a book you want to finish in one sitting, but also never want the story to end. I wish this series was an audiobook because I want to live through it all over again, but I also have an extremely long TBR list.
The tension between our good guys Jorah, Krew, Kier, and Owen, against the power-mad king is as strong as ever. King Theon is a vile man, and he is somehow always able to gain the upper hand against Jorah and the princes. This book does finally see the end of the king, but the journey is difficult and maddening for our good guys and the reader.
***SPOILERS*** . . . . . I got a bit confused with Jorah's Iron Will and its ability to stop any magical attack against her. Shouldn't she be protected against things magically aimed at her, like the glass shards and other things covered in the magic of the king and his guards in the final battle? I must have misunderstood the ability of her immunity, or perhaps it's that the objects themselves could still touch her through velocity and trajectory even when the magic can't?
There will be a fourth book that will hopefully bring some insight into Kier's reasons for not choosing a bride. On the one hand, I hope it is the last book, but I also kind of hope there are more. I have a theory that perhaps Kier's decision to not choose someone was because he was either only pretending to be attracted to women for the sake of the Assemblages and the line of succession, or he has a love interest who is perhaps in another country. I am eager to find out.

Enchanted Throne (The Enchanted Kingdom series Book 3)
Tricia Wentworth-Author is one of THE BEST authors I have EVER read (and that's A LOT). Her new Enchanted series is just as amazing as everything else she's written. Enchanted Throne is full of emotions - you will laugh while you cry and cry while you laugh. There are sad moments and "what the what" moments, and all the feel goods. It will grab you and never let you go.
I wanna sit down for coffee with Tricia, Jorah and Regan!! ;-)
Her writing is mostly clean with no intimate violence and very little intimate details/descriptions.
She has 3 complete series out. I would HIGHLY recommend starting with The Culling (3 books) which is followed by The Next Era (which is the kids of The Culling books).
Tricia Wentworth Spoiler Squad is just an amazing lady to know and friend to have!
I loved this series. It was rich and creative. Jorah, Krew, Kier, and Owen are amazing characters. They felt like old friends through the series. I loved the immediatel chemistry between Krew and Jorah. There was no doubt in the beginning that they would end up together. The creative use of magic made this a joy to read. I am really looking forward to Kier finding his soulmate…on a different part of the rhelm perhaps. I thought it was forshadow the discussion about other binding.
honestly one of my favorite book series, it was so enthralling i just wanted to read it all the time. my heart was with these characters and their struggles, not being able to put it down until something was ok. i tugged at all my heart and was very tender. i loved that the love story continued even though they have already found one another. each book built so well upon the others never leaving you wanting for more. i never felt bored or lost, it was so well written, and i absolutely loved it.
I was very excited for this release because I adore this author and enjoyed this series thus far. However, the first 55% was very lackluster for me. I don't want to give away spoilers, but it was so limited with story and plotline. It seemed to keep repeating itself like a skipped record, forgetting to move on. Once it did it was terrific but just too late for a five star rating.
I will read absolutely anything Tricia writes. After finding the Culling series, I was immediately a fan for life. It’s so refreshing to find an author that gives you such amazing stories. I loved this series just as much as the Culling. The characters are wonderful and I enjoyed the world she created so much. You won’t be disappointed.
I know the headline is weird but after the exhausting amount of books read by me through the years I find this is becoming a minority in fiction and romance.Anyway this story is so worth readiing, hence why I'm leaving a review after book three not one ,I just had to find out what came next.Check it out,I think you will like it.
Great series. A few grammar mistakes, but all in all, well worth the read.
For my clean readers: violence-murder, torture, patricide, and all out fighting. Language-a lot, but no f-bomb. Romance-kissing, many innuendos, but nothing graphic or descriptive, and implied rape. There is definitely no denial of multiple partners in the story either. LGBTQ friendly.
2 ⭐️ Just as I suspected this book wasn't any good. A bit better than The Enchanted Heir but it still was boring. Again the characters were just annoying and the first half of the book is Jorah learning how to use her magic like can we get back to the actual story now? And this book was pretty predictable. Anyways I would definitely not recommend this series.
To order this series! Tricia Wentworth has done it again. The perfect combination of fantasy, romance, and suspense will have you up all through the night wanting more from this series. Five stars! Highly recommend!
Cool ending to the story but it dragged a bit. If it was slightly edited it would have been perfect! I wish we could have some more Molly and Renna though. Maybe a little small novella about their adventures? Maybe in Keir’s book? 😁
still don’t like the mc. and at some point it hit me that i wasn’t a fan of the writing either? i really feel like i just finished it bc i don’t like reading things if im not going to commit to finishing the series (she says as she has read multiple books and never finished the series)
Another amazing book in this series. A rollercoaster of emotions throughout. I couldn’t put it down and although the ending was amazing, I want more!!!
