It's been a while since i cried and tossed a book (Kindle) to the floor when I read this book. Ka knight tore my heart out... Nova and the boys, man.. they went through it in book 2. Nova really went through the ringer!! A lot of bad stuff happened that almost broke her and being taken by her father and all the stuff he did to her. I was waiting for her to get her revenge. I had to wait, and I loved every second of that waiting.

And we got all the guys the way each guy was suffering without her hurt.. baby Nico 😭😭😭😭 Louis, all of them even crazy Jonas.. but they used there skill to find their girl and made it their mission to hurt each member who made their girl broken.

JONAS AND HIS KILLER SELF!! giving her all them dead hearts ♥️❤️♥️❤️❤️♥️❤️

We also have some other drama from someone else, but I enjoyed how it ended. And they got there hea.

One last fight

This book was filled to the brim with emotional turmoil. I thought I knew who was behind all of the sabotage, but I was dead wrong! This book takes off right where book one left us. Nova along with Louis, Isaac, Dimitri, Jonas and Nico are beside themselves at realizing her father and tormentor is still alive pulling all the strings!

When they are taken by surprise, no one expected there would be actual causalities. They are once again proven wrong and lose a loved one so dear to them, it changes Novas entire outlook forever.

Now in the clutches of the mad scientist aka Dear Ol Dad... Nova decides to embrace the superhuman soldier her father created. Meeting his subjects left and right with sheer determination, she is ready to take him and his army on. The showdown is epic! And the guys are by her side in some way supporting her in the only way they know how.

"...love isn't a weakness. It is our strength..."

This book was amazing and filled with angst, heartache, new beginnings, steaminess and love. The author did an amazing job at finishing up this duet and I am in awe. I loved these characters and definitely am not ready to say goodbye. It was a perfect ending to an amazing duet!

I really liked book one but I absolutely LOVED book two. I read it in one sitting, it was that good.

You never plan on falling in love with characters in a book but you hope you do. I fell in love with all of them. The multiple POVs definitely helped with that. You could just feel their pain and the love they had for each other. I cried several times while reading this (which I didn't like thank you very much) because I was just so invested. I felt so attached to each person and their struggle. The spice was absolutely amazing too we definitely cannot forget about that 👀👀

These were not my favorite.
I love KA Knight and her FMC are amazing.
Her Crazy men (Jonas I’m talking about you) are always laugh out loud amazing.
But this one was SO MUCH TORTURE and i dont know. I just didn’t connect with the CONSTANT pain and then no pay off for it.
I needed her to KILL and get REVENGE. But it fell so flat.
Her sisters part in it was also just kind of sad and didn’t do it for me.
I dont know.
The duology will probably not be a reread for me — mainly because it was all mush and no angst in book 1
And all trauma and no revenge in book 2.

"The very same super soldiers he created will be the ones to end his life, and there is nothing he can do to stop that."

After the end of book 1, where Nova, Louis, Jonas, Nico, Dimitri and Isaac discovered that their deepest and darkest nightmares is alive, Dr. Davis, everything they thought true turned upside down. They thought they were finally free from the cracy scientist, but that was just another one of his experiments to get Nova back, his daughter and his only successful experiment. Nova spent her whole life suffering in the hands of her father, Dr. Davis, a crazy scientist that only cared about advancing and using the full capacity of the human mind with the objective of creating super soldiers. His methods, however, were horrifying, he tortured and experimented for years on Nova and, later, she found that she was not the only one. The survivors of other experiments around the world, Louis, Jonas, Nico, Dimitri and Isaac, also had the same demons and same dark past as her.

However, after finding out Dr. Davis and his research were still out there being worked on, they decide it's time to finally put an end to this. However, everything changes when Nova sees herself back where she feared the most in order to save her loved ones. But her guys aren't far behind, they will do everything to find her, they're ready to burn the world down for her or go down trying because living in a whole without her is not possible for them and Nova is ready to handle whatever her psycho father throws at her, she's ready to finish this for good.

"He wanted to watch his experiments in action and see what we are capable of? He's about to, and he has no idea what I am truly willing to do to finally stop the man who started all this.
I will end this with one of us in the grave."

This book was absolutely amazing. I DEVOURED it! I seriously could not put it down and I'm so obsessed with the characters, the world, everything that is makes me sad it's over. Also, I have to talk about Jonas, my absolute favorite of all the 5 guys. I always seem do love the crazy/manic ones and Jovas is everything, he's hot, sooo funny, crazy and Nova just matches his energy so perfect. She's his whole world and he shows her in every action and every second of the day. He's got psycho golden retriever with mental issues energy and I am here for it!!!

I wince as I hear boots before more guards emerge behind them and behind me, surrounding me. Grinning, I roll my neck. "This is more my speed. Don't shoot and cheat now, boys. Don't want to ruin the merchandise for my girl. Actually, she might give me head for a few bullet wounds. Feel free, but just avoid the face. She lies to sit on that."

Anyway, this book was so sooooo good!!! The spice, oh my god, the scenes with her and all the guys made my heart skip several beats, and by heart I mean something else (iykyk), it was soooo hot!!! I seriously devoured this book and I absolutely LOVED every second of it. I'll definitely do a reread in the future because it's on my favorite series list. Mindblowing 5 stars and 5+ spice. Sooo good!!!

I didn't know I was into Syfy dark why choose before this duology but I'm totally here for it. Katie has open to a whole new genre. I've been dying to see how this duet was gonna end and it was fracking glorious. Unbreakable was everything.

Nova and the guys went through a lot in this one. I saw sides of them that weren't noticeable in the first book. Nova went from strong and vengeful to a little bit broken, she's suffered so much, she had my sympathy from the start. Nova started fighting back, she stopped playing the game by everyone else's rules and started playing by her own. By the end she was able to start to heal, realizing that she had people who were gonna stick by her no matter what and that made the difference.

"I will end this with one of us in the grave."
- Nova

The guys changed too in noticeable ways. I have to say Jonas was the most changed, in the first book he was sort of an arrogant flirt but in this, Jonas was very playful but his vulnerable side is very noticeable and so is his crazy which just endured me to him even more. There was this one scene when everyone was questioning what Jonas was doing and the answer was always "You don't wanna know", it was great. The bond between Nova and her guys is stronger than ever, they're a family, and it's a good thing because they needed it.

"Even in the darkness, we will hold your hands"
- Dimitri

Shout out to Sarah, who had the smallest part to play (but very important) in this story. She's a book lover and describes reading so perfectly that I felt it in my soul. I also low-key feel like there might be a story there. The interaction she had with Nova's guys was fairly interesting.

Honestly, I had no clue where Katie was going to take this story but I didn't plan on her brutal savage attack on my emotions. Gods, the tears I cried during this book... There were so many heart-wrenching moments, Nova having to be strong, the guys' fear and worry, it was a lot. The cruel experiments and vicious soldiers were one thing but seeing Nova's father, Doctor Davies, in action was another. The man is a psychopath, he has to know this about himself, right? Davies was sick and twisted and surrounded himself with the like, I hated Joel the most. I have so many questions about funding, partners, and how he was able to get away with so much? I have a theory that the guys weren't too far from the truth with their supposed lie to the government.

Katie went down a dark and twisted road with Unbreakable blowing past all expectations. I was right by Nova's and her guys' side as they overcame everything that was thrown at them. I had so many overwhelming emotions (yes, I cried hard during this book) and memorable moments, these characters are sure to stick with me.

So what’s a trauma-bonded quartet of super soldiers all in love with the female super soldier who could easily take them all out after taking out almost all of her maniacally evil scientist daddy’s experimental laboratories do?

Well, it turns out they go home, rest up, train, research, and try to find out where that crazy mofo went. He’s squirrely. At first time doesn’t seem to be the largest issue; but after a tragic incident, Nova willingly goes back into her own personal hell, and her men are left to track her down as quickly as possible.

If you look at my rating for Unstoppable, you can see that Unbreakable gained a half-star in rating over Unstopppable. When I read Unstoppable I didn’t feel it was exactly good enough to reach that four star mark, but I am certain Unbreakable is. Read together, the duet is a solid four star read.

What Unbreakable has over Unstoppable, believe it or not, is less spice, which makes way for more plot and character development. We get more of the character’s inner narratives, more of everybody’s feelings and a better look at how they interact, and some of the thought processes behind their decisions, no matter how painful. Like I said in my review for Unstoppable: I do enjoy the way Knight writes spice, but after a while I start to forget who’s even having sex with Nova because it starts to blur.

I enjoyed this duet, and I recommend it highly for the non-squeamish. If you’re squeamish, please check TW/CW before you start.

There is very little downtime, as this book is intense; emotionally, physically and mentally, it's thrilling and passionately wicked. It's quite a ride all the way up to the very end.

Nova, Jonas, Isaac, Nico, Dimitri, and Louis, fond themselves picking up the pieces once they find their nightmare is still alive. Nova's father, Dr. Davis, isn't dead and to make matters worse he isn't finished with his research, specifically he's coming after Nova.

Living in a state of limbo the group tries to figure out what the Dr.'s plans are before he can wreak havoc on their lives, but the evil man always seems one step ahead of them taking the waiting game out of their hands and changing their lives forever.

The second part of this duet is chilling at times. It was similar to watching a thrilling movie; sitting in the dark on the edge of my seat waiting for the next scary moment to occur. I could hardly rip my eyes from the pages with the captivating plot. It's dark, it's twisted, but it's also wickedly good. Especially if dark, twisty books happen to be your jam, which it's totally mine. Hence, this book checked off several boxes for me.

Now, let me gush a little about Jonas...he is all things crazy and psychotic, but blessed with the biggest and most honest big boy heart which is why I fell in love for his craziness. But let's also not forget his dirty, dirty wicked side, cause his entire package is why he's risen above and is by far my favorite guy. From the beginning Jonas has been my favorite bad boy and he never once lost that honor, but the other four quickly tied for a very close second. I just happen to love crazy pants men with a dirty mouth and who also love big.

For a thrilling duet filled with tons of dark themes, but also found family and lots of love, this story is one to read.

This duet was just SO. FREAKING. GOOD! 🔥

Nova grew up with a horrible father who experimented on her to try and mold her into what he wanted. She escaped at the age of 17, but comes back when she finds out her father has passed. While at his funeral she runs into 5 guys: Louis, Nico, Jonas, Isaac, & Dmitri. These guys were also part of the experiments done by her father and they are banding together to try and shut down all the research still happening. Along the way, Nova forms deep connections with every single one of them. She can’t deny the pull she has for each of them and has finally found love. But, it’s not that simple. Her sister thought she had died and hates her, she’s trying to figure out where her father’s research will lead her and that ends up getting her in trouble. But, the five men who love her will do anything to get her back.

This duet was unlike anything I have read before. I’m going to be honest, I’m not typically a big fan of reverse harem books, but this duet has changed my mind. It was HOT! 🥵🔥 These men all knew how to take care of her. 😉 I also loved the dark aspect of it and the entire storyline. You could also feel the vulnerability from each man and I loved that we got their story from their POVs as well.

Thank you to Wordsmith Publicity for the physical copy of Unstoppable and the eARC copy of Unbreakable. You sending me the first book of the duet made me fall in love with these characters and their story. 🥰

I thought Unstoppable was really good, but Unbreakable was even better. Be aware Unbreakable is much darker than Unstoppable. You must read Unstoppable first as Unbreakable is part 2 of the duet.

Unbreakable picks up where Unstoppable ended. The plane Nova and her guys were in crashed. Nova received a call from her father revealing he is still alive and he has been manipulating them from the start. Now he wants Nova back.

In order to protect and save the ones she loves, she hands herself over to her father even though she knows this means she will be subjected to more experiments being carried out on her.

During this time is when things get really dark.

This book is told in multiple POV's and you can feel all of their emotions, all of the love they felt for each other.

I can't pick a favourite from Dimitri, Isaac, Louis, Jonas, Nico but all I will say is Jonas in chapter 34 and how he shows his love for her!!

One thing I didn't like is that Nova, Dimitri, Isaac, Louis, and Nico all got multiple chapters told from their POV, however Jonas only got a side part in Chapter 34 (Nova's chapter) and one full chapter (chapter 46). As Jonas is the "slightly" more unhinged character of the group, I would have liked more from his POV.

SPICE - yes, there is still a fair amount of spice to enjoy 🥵🥵🥵.

I can't wait to see what comes next from K A Knight.

꧁Book Review꧂

Thank you so much to the author for sending me an ARC to review, you’ve made my entire year!

Angsty. No one in their right mind. Found family.

This is the second in the duet and follows Nova into the belly of the beast after she agreed to go with her father to save her guys. But what she forgets is they will do anything to get her back. And I mean anything…

I can’t say this enough. The 👏 plot 👏 is 👏 everything 👏 with this duet. The characters driving it makes it unstoppable (see what I did there?..) The beginning started a little too angsty for me and there was a lot of characters feeling sorry for themselves meaning I found it a bit slow for the first maybe 40%. However, after this point it was all action and these characters had me laughing, crying and on the edge of my seat.

All I can say about Nova is she is one tough lady and the choices she had to make broke my heart. Jonas has the purest of hearts and I loved his game of deranged Duck Duck Goose (if you know, you know!). Her guys had such unflinching loyalty and love for her it made my heart smile.

Overall, I loved this duet and these are absolutely characters I could come back to. I could read Jonas’s rampage and the guys’ reactions again and again!

Epic finale for Nova and her men

Holy smokes this book was a wild ride from start to finish and it had my heart in a tailspin for Nova and her men. Their pain and trauma and loss will bring you to tears and then their resilience and love will have you giggling at their antics. I loved every minute of this crew and this conclusion to their duet did not disappoint.

Nova might be one of my favorite FMCs that KA Knight has written. She is a broken hero of sorts and a total baddie. This woman is pure grit and tenacity and it doesn’t help that she is a super soldier. We also saw her vulnerability too in this book which just made her character so much more.

And those men of hers… wow… I’m still fanning myself over here. Jonas and Nico are still my favorites. Jonas is absolute batty crazy and I loved him so much. Such a cinnamon roll psycho and the hearts?? So sweet of him. God what is wrong with me lol?!? And Nico is just my all American guy of sorts. Still a little batty but also just a sweet and lovable guy. Louis is a really close runner up as a favorite. Ever the leader but with a softer side for his girl. It was everything. I also loved Dimitri and Isaac in this crew but I feel like they weren’t the stars in this book but were more the focus in the first book which is fine. It gave me a chance to love the rest just as much.

My heart hurts so much over Ana and Sam even though I was distrustful of them in the first book. I had a hope that KA would grace us with their story but that just isn’t in the cards.

✨Strong badass FMC x 5 strong MMC's
✨Multiple POVs

First off, thank you to K. A. Knight and Wordsmith Publicity for the ARC, I got into RH romances through Den of Vipers and I was so excited when I saw that I got the ARC for this after I had devoured Unstoppable.

Unbreakable is the second book in the Pretty Liars Duet and it follows Nova, Louis, Isaac, Dimitri, Jonas, and Nico on their way to get revenge for what Nova’s father did to them when they were children. After they realized at the end of book 1 that Nova’s father was still alive they are all trying to deal with their own emotions and traumatic memories coming back while also trying to keep it together long enough to find him and stop him from execution more of his experiments and in line with that torturing more innocent children.

Rather quickly they are being taken by surprise by him and his men which leads to Nova sacrificing herself to save her loved ones, getting herself back into captivity and into the hands of her torturer and father.

This book was an emotional rollercoaster and there were so many heart-wrenching moments in there but also heartwarming moments between Nova and her guys. I adored how they were able to keep each other stable and accept each other for who they really are and the ending was just a full circle moment, which I loved.

I’m trying not to put too many spoilers into my review since if you decide to pick this duet up - you definitely have to start with Unstoppable before you read Unbreakable - I don’t want to spoil anything major. But there were quite a few really unexpected scenes in there, especially the more traumatic ones, that left me crying for Nova and her pain, and while I think that she probably could have survived all of this on her own but as a completely different person, she really needed her guys to be to have something to live for and survive for as the person that she was before her captivity.

I loved book one and this book did not disappoint! We ended book one finding out Nova’s father is actually alive. Their worst nightmare is back and this obviously doesn’t sit well with her or the men. The family they have created is pushed to its limits.

While trying to track down her father and get to him first, he shows up and breaks Nova. To save herself from further loss and protect the people she loves, she goes with him.

In hopes the men move on and forget her, she endures what she has to while thinking of a way to get herself out.

Louis, Dmitri, Nico, Jonas and Isaac have other plans. They will stop at nothing until they get their Nova back. The men track down any information they can and finally find where she is.

This book had me laughing, crying and on the edge of my sit trying to find out what was going to happen. I loved that we get to see how each of them handles their own ptsd and how it only makes them stronger.

To find out what happens to Nova and her men I HIGHLY recommend you read Unbreakable! Check the trigger warnings and know Jonas is a romantic…… in his own twisted kind of way.

Unbreakable is the second and final installment of Pretty Liars. It was action packed, steamy and definitely unforgettable. Unfortunately, these past two weeks have been crazy busy and I just haven't had the time or brain capacity to write deserving reviews so this is going to be short.

I liked this. I did. However, I do think that since there was SO much action Nova's men got lost in the story. There were too many of them to really flesh their characters out and their relationship with Nova. I got them confused repeatedly which is weird because the last book I read from Knight with several love interests I had no problem.

Nova was one badass chick but I would have liked to have seen a softer side to her more. But I guess I get it...they were in the fight for their lives. Overall, a pretty good read.

While I enjoyed book one, I LOVED book two!

This is an extremely dark book. I normally don't have to take mental health breaks while reading, but I definitely had to set this book down a few times. I literally had a nightmare last night, and my husband woke me up asking if I was okay. So please check the trigger warnings.

The plot and characters are amazing and very well written! The spice was great, and the twists were intriguing. My heart was torn out and then put back together again.

Katie Knight is the reason I got back into reading, and I absolutely love her books. I am constantly recommending them, and I can now add this series to my list. I love that she can create dark romance but leave you feeling happy by the end of the book.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
This book picked up where the last one left off and then some. I swear I went through so many emotions in this book. Nova was taken by her father and she was tortured. It was painful to read, but the way the guys rallied around her and truly helped through it, even putting themselves in the lion's den so to speak in order to help her and be there for her. So good. I devoured this book. I did do the audiobook for this and it is so good, The audiobook really elevates this book. Michelle Sparks and James Cassidy were so good with this and I loved every min of listening to this.

This book is absolutely heart wrenching I admittedly cried my eyes out for like 1/4 of the book. It picks up right where Unstoppable stops. You feel awful for all the MCs and are just as angry along side them. You really get to see how tough Nova actually is and what they have all endured at the hands of Dr. Davis. The plot twist at the end I kinda saw coming but not completely I loved this book.

What a twisted, dark, and amazing story.

“Nothing will be left, but the scars on my body and soul from what happened here.”

4.5✨

The hold this plot hard on me was like no other. I can’t think of any book that is even remotely similar to this one - it was such a unique, dark, and sexy story. I’m so happy the book took off from where book one ended because the cliffhanger was insane and book to continue to be just as insane as I flipped through the pages. It’s clear that this story was going to be a wild ride, but it really is filled with some heavy emotions. Not only because of the plot line and the FMCs background but also because of how each character interacted with one another and how they would literally die for one another. There was so much passion evident between these pages that I couldn’t put the book down.

I don’t think I ever recall reading a reverse harem that had this many men in it, but I enjoyed it! All the characters worked so well with one another, and their chemistry was very evident, as well as their love for one another.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I downloaded it immediately after finishing Unstoppable. I felt it gave enough closure to all the characters. The book's first half was very traumatic, so I'm glad we got some fluff time with the boys. I wish we got more of Nico. I loved his character so much. He was my favorite out of all the boys. I loved this duology. It's one of my favorites. Nova's father was a real piece of work, claiming it was science as to why he was hurting people. As if. He was a very messed up individual.

In the end, I just feel ehh. Ya know what I mean? Like was it good? Not really but it wasn't the worst either. I think I just felt slightly disappointed because there was alot of just inner monologues that felt like they went on forever and just kinda took me out of the story. I literally was able to put it down for 2days which is a shock for me most of the time because I'm one of those constant readers so yeah it was just ehh in my opinion. It also needs some more editing. Anywho I'd rate it at a higher 2.5 so I'm rounding to 3. Also I don't know if the author had a tw page in the beginning or not but I thought I'd go ahead and forwarn anyone with triggers on infertility or death of a loved one but that's something that occurs here in book 2...

******SPOILERS BELOW*******

One inconsistency she originally place a piece of shirt to keep the door from closing but then later the guard did a bad job closing the door completely like I guess the author forgot the first part...
A second inconsistency is that nico shaved his head bald and then now she's pulling his short hair... just all the little things constantly being changed brings me out of the story. I'm not finished reading yet but I can say this could be a 4 star read if it was just edited better in my opinion. I'll probably end up giving it a 3 though.
Also around 62% there's a smexy scene that makes like no sense. He placed a pillow down for her hips but then they're pulling her back and forth between them. It makes no sense in the setting lol like idk what the author was trying to explain or who was where at what point until they were coming lol it just seems a little confusing.
Lol they also just said scrëw the guard who told Louis to get her out while he could. Idk if the author just forgot about that part or what but I kinda felt like it was just forgotten about and moved on from without ever being mentioned again.

K.A Knight, you have done it again! I seriously can not get enough of everything this author does!

I can not get enough of the characters in this series, and this book had me laughing, mad, and crying my eyes out.

K.A Knight has a way of sucking you into the world she writes about and makes you feel everything right alongside the characters.

In this book, we continue to follow Nova and her men in the mission to kill her father to stop his experiments and destroy his research once and for all, so that way he can never hurt anyone again.
However, what happens when Nova is broken and feeling empty?

What happens when her men are not willing to let give up and will burn the world for her?

You will have to read this amazing series to find out.

There are some hard-hitting topics in this book that some people may find triggering, so please take this as a warning to check any trigger warnings. I am so glad that this book ends on a HEA

*Please note this is book 2 of the series!*

After listening to book 1 I went right into book 2, especially after that crazy of a cliffhanger I needed to know what was going to happen to Nova after the devastation in book 1 and the knowledge her dad was indeed alive and she lost people she had just couldnt back in her life. I felt for her and for the guys, even more so as the audiobook went on because of the separation they went through and how hard it was on them, as well as the torture they had to endure.

I will be upfront and say I enjoyed book 1 more but I still liked book 2 it just was slower for me, I think because of the setting and what everyone had to withstand, and then the ending felt like it ended at like the 85-90% mark and I was waiting for the other shoe to drop but we just got a ton of smut haha. Now don’t get me wrong I love smut, but it felt odd with the pacing and how book 1 was for the story to wrap up that early. Like the book could have ended there with a normal side epilogue and we all would have been happy with it. Just felt a little unnecessary. Still gave it 4/5 stars, would definitely still recommend the duet, just wasn’t as strong and succinct as Unstoppable was.

Now on to the things I enjoyed! I felt so many emotion seeing how the guys agonized not being able to find her and rescue her. Seeing some of them shut down, some behave more erratically, some becoming a shell of their former self was hard to listen to, especially my favs who took it extra hard on themselves for not protecting her and not finding her. Nova had to go through some nasty stuff in her father’s clutches. What she did to protect future people was gut wrenching but so brave and made her such a BA. I had to go slower with this one because of the torture parts and how sad it was making me with the guys’ POV. I loved seeing Nova’s pseudo dad help them out and keep them together. I was sad when the ending of book 1 was brought, for the ones they lost. This was definitely an emotional rollercoaster but their reunion was epic and I loved her getting to seeing some earlier and them freaking out over the comms to hear her voice hahaha. Made me laugh so hard them clamoring for her.

The steam was high once they were reunited, which took awhile because of the storyline. The love these characters have for one another was amazing and aw-inspiring. I love all the guys different personalities and how some of their kinks came out even more when they got back together haha. I won’t give anything away, but some of the other characters made it hard to even pick a favorite among them 😍. This author does an incredible job with making us fall for these characters and become super invested. The narration also helps elevate them and make them that much more real to the readers’ minds. They did a great job with bringing out the emotions of the characters, especially the guys and how they were falling apart without her. Also the scene where she had to hurt herself and the ramifications made me get teary-eyed because I felt the pain for Nova and their future. Done so well!

Enjoyed this duet, slowly working my way through this author’s catalog as she gets more audiobooks done, can’t wait to escape into the next world. Book 2 is a 4/5 stars but the duet overall is 4.5/5 since book 1 was 5/5 and one of my favorites of all time by this author ❤️

OMFG!! This ending was EVERYTHING and so much freaking more than I could have ever hoped for! It was darker, grittier and bloodier then the first book and I was all in. And the amount of emotional turmoil, heartache and pain that was packed into this story oozed out of the pages and had my heart in a vice that kept getting squeezed with every gut-wrenching and heartbreaking moment that Nova gets put through. I was riveted to my seat, biting my nails with anxiety over what was happening, and holding my breath hoping that Nova and her men would get their happy ever after; and that her father would finally pay for what he has done to her. It was a wild, crazy and incredibly bumpy rollercoaster ride right to the very end.

Nova is an incredible warrior with so much love to give even after everything she’s been through. But her heart will be put through the wringer, and she will be tested beyond what she may be capable to withstand. The pain and torture that she must endure was devastating and heartbreaking to read. There were times that I would slam the book closed yelling WTF! But through it all Nova becomes exactly what her father wanted, a superhuman soldier. Instead of joining him she is dead set on ending him.

Louis, Isaac, Dimitri, Jonas and Nico will do anything and everything to get Nova back from the clutches of her evil father before he completely destroys the woman they have all come to love and adore. The lengths they go to were incredible and the emotions that they share show us how much they have grown as a family and an indestructible unit. I couldn’t wait for them to just let go and get their girl back no matter the cost.

There were moments of utter heartbreak that had me shedding a tear or two, and there were moments where I was giggling along with them (especially Jonas and his collection of hearts). But there were so many super steamy and highly erotic moments between them all that had my heart racing and my panties melting. I devoured every deliciously kinky and depraved moment and could not get enough of these characters!

Explosively brilliant ending that kept me on the edge of my seat with my adrenaline pumping the whole way through. It was filled to the brim with suspense, action, violence, revenge, unhinged savageness, rage, heartache, passion and an all-consuming and undeniable love. This story consumed me, and I hate to let it go.

I’m done being an experiment. I’m going to find him, and when I do, I’m going to kill him once and for all.

After the shocking twist of an ending, Nova and her men are left picking up the pieces of finding out the truth of has been pulling all their strings.

Her father is alive…

And, after a sneak attack ending in devastating result, Nova sacrifices herself and is once again in the clutches of her dear old daddy dearest…

“We’re going to get her back. We are, and when we do, we’ll burn the fucking world for her.”

Now the hunt is on and Nova’s men will search the world until she is safely back in their arms again. They know Nova’s past, as well as their own traumatic past and this time he won’t be holding back.

Nova just needs to hold on, her men are coming…

But, the mind can be a flicker thing, her emotions are getting harder to lock down and each time she is taken to be tested on a piece of her is slowly breaking. Her body is able to heal quicker, but how much does it take to beat out her worn out tattered heart?

Will Nova ever have her revenge and stop her father once and for all…no matter the cost?

Or will she lose herself to his experiment forever…

Death is easy, but living is fucking hard.

What an unstoppable conclusion!

I didn’t know how the events of the last book were going to play into this one and I love that Nova is held captive again. Before we only saw the effects of what happened in her past, got an idea of what happened to her as a child but now to actually read it page by page…

The detail was perfect right the way through to the emotions that pour from each character and being in their heads you really do feel for them all. On one side you have & experience everything that Nova is going through you see how strong she is and how far she is close to breaking.

Then you have her men…my gosh, Nova really has touched each of them in her own way and now she’s been taken from them and unprotected…They really do become the men that her father created in stopping at nothing to find her.

I’ve really enjoyed this duet, from the hot steamy multi-lovers scenes, to them having that moment wrapped together, the family wholesome unit that they have found in each other and seeing how deadly they all really are…but when they all come together they are in for the kill…

An unforgettable read!

Are we broken beyond repair, or am I simply too broken to love anymore?

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰:
Book 2 of the Pretty Liars duet. This is NOT A STANDALONE and therefore must be read after Book 1 (Unstoppable). This book will end with a HEA.

𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:
Nova and her guys got dealt some hard truths at the end of Unstoppable and everything changed. Now they are feeling a bit broken down… left feeling like everything they’ve fought for so far was for nothing. But they’re only getting started. They have so much more to fight for and this book is filled with all the challenges they have left to come.

I’m putting Nova right up there next to Roxy Viper! (yes I said it!) I love all of Katie’s powerhouse FMCs and Nova fits the bill. She is one bad ass lady. Knock her down seven times, she’ll stand up eight. Nova goes through a seriously rough time, dealing with her trauma as her past continues to clash with her present.

These guys are not ones to be looked past either. Each one has a past of their own, which we learned quite a bit about in book one. We see them still struggle with overcoming some of their trauma also.

My heart broke and my temper flared. I cried and I yelled. This book was so intense… as I knew it would be. Emotional rollercoaster doesn’t even begin to cover it. Nova goes through so much and her guys are behind her every step. The determination, loyalty, and eternal type of love in this book is unmatched.

I love that there is an “after”. Meaning it wasn’t just all “yay, we won” and that’s the end. We get to see a bit more of their life ‘after’ the epic showdown and then even a little more of their remarkably hard but immensely deserved happily ever after.

I always marvel at the depth Katie brings to her characters and the pure talent she exerts when writing a multi POV novel. Katie will forever be a favorite author of mine. This duet is an absolute MUST have in your library.
