Gunrunner Princess #1

One for the Money

Rate this book
Hey there, I'm Von, your not-so-average girl with a flair for the unconventional.

My hobbies? Oh, just the usual—beach strolls (best after serenading the fish with a symphony of a soon to be dead man’s scream... long story), and DIY projects. Ever cuddled a C4-stuffed pillow? You're missing out.

My family is what I think most people would consider normal. A doting father, loving mother, twin older brothers who are a pain in my ass, the usual. Yeah we have a family business that requires you to know how to shoot a gun, bribe officials, and pay off the cops, but everyone’s family does that.

As for me, I've dipped my toes in... let's call it 'creative entrepreneurship'. Hypothetically speaking, I might be the go-to arms dealer for half the globe's criminals. To spice up my life a bit I decided to help a friend out. She has her hands full after dismantling the top two mafia families. So as her blood oath bestie, I’m gonna tie up some loose ends and hunt down two hidden heirs of the Accardi Family.

This will be a piece of cake. They don’t call me ‘The Wolf’ for nothing.

One For The Money is a why choose, reverse harem story that has content unsuitable for ages under 18. A full list of content warnings can be found on the authors website

Yes! The spin-off of the Caprioni Queen series is finally here and it was bomb! The Gunnrunner Princess series kicks off with One for the Money and it was everything I wanted from Von's story. While this can be read as it's on series I highly suggest reading Caprioni Queen first. It's epic and helps connect some of the dots.

I freaking loved Von! From the glimpse I got of her in Love & Power, I knew I would. Von is a badass, she's powerful, intelligent, deadly, and running her own criminal empire, no wonder she got the nickname "the Wolf." Hecks she had to be, to have two best friends like Ivy and Astin. Von is feral, there's no other way to describe her. Like I said she's smart and violent, a heck of a combination but what surprised me is she's highly logical it's just that her parameters are different from the norm but that just makes her unique.

Von reluctantly (on her part, not theirs') has three guys. Bear, who's been with her from the beginning is a scary mother-trucker but is obsessed with Von in the best of ways. Erik fits surprisingly well with the pair and is way calmer about things than he has the right to be and finally there's the wildcard that I have no idea how that's gonna work out but it's gonna be fun finding out. I have to agree with the guys this has to be fate because I've never seen people more suited for each other.

What surprised me the most was Von's history. I didn't expect it. It's a major part of who she is now and is an important aspect of the story. Besides that, this book has all the aspects of an organized crime plot that my little dark heart could want. The Wolf is on the hunt, car chases, the dark web, explosions, murder, and powerplays are only some of the things Von gets up to, plus a bit of mystery. I especially loved the appearance of some of the Caprioni Queen characters. Seeing Von in her environment was quite the rush.

I enjoyed the heck out of One For The Money. Von's first book was excellent, dark yet playful with a slight touch of whimsy (heck there was even a Snow White reference that was disturbingly accurate). Liz ended One For the Money with a well-timed cliffhanger, now I can wait for Two For the Show.

P.S. If you can't tell I'm getting a kick out of the book titles. Haha! 😂

I've been looking forward to this book ever since I met Von and Bear in the Caprioni Queen series, and it absolutely didn't disappoint. Von is one very messed up lady, and the darkness in this book matches Astin's storyline, just as well as the way both these ladies struggle with their past and some of the things that happened to them. I love the men in Von's life; they are just as morally grey as her, but they also add a layer of protectiveness she desperately needs but doesn't know how to accept. The fact that Bear is mute adds a fascinating extra to the story, and I believe our third man has some awesome surprises in store as well.

I believe it's possible to start this series without reading Astin's storyline first, but it does help to understand Von's mission and how all the side characters are connected. I've been intrigued by the bigger storyline from the start, and I'm really happy the author is building on it further with new (and old) characters. This first book has the perfect mix between character building, plot development and spice, and I absolutely can't wait to get my hands on the next book.

New Series in the Shared World
This story follows Von whom we first met in the Caprioni Queen series as she became one of Aston’s besties, but you can 100% read this series without having read that one! And what a story this one turning out to be 😀 Von is tasked with finding the missing heirs from one of the Five Families who could potentially challenge the Mafia Queen- Von’s bestie - and it’s certainly proving to be a challenge as they’ve all but disappeared over the last few years 🙈 what’s more there appears to be a witch out for revenge on those who may oppose her claim to power and for some reason poor Vin seems to be getting the brunt of it 😮 but it’s a good job she’s a crazy as women in her own right to deal with and hand back the Shizz she gets dealt 💪 thankfully she has faithful right hand man Beat who is one heck of an alpha male to her Wolf but also pushed her to see her emotions and then there’s Big Red who after a chance encounter might be forcing her to open up that little bit more; and lastly in this opening book there’s the mystery man leading her on a treasure hunt 😁 it’s cleverly woven together with plenty of spice and action !

This is my first book from Elizabeth, and it won’t be the last! If you like a baddie FMC, that’s a little crazy, you’ll love this one. I’m also enjoying all her men, with Teddy Bear probably being my favorite! 🫠 This is book one of a new spin off series, you don’t technically have to read the previous series to understand what is going on, but I definitely will be going back to read those! The FMC is a top Weapons Runner and is dealing with some interference and potential setups. Her and her men have to solves some mysteries, and maybe unalive a few people while they’re at it. So much happens in this short book, and it ends on a cliffhanger. I will be very impatiently waiting for the next one, and going back to read the previous series.

Thank you Elizabeth Knight & Chaotic Creatives for the ARC!

Von was always a delight as a side character, but as the main character? Pure chaos! This girl is fractured, tough and desperately in need of a happy ending. Fighting her demons isnt really going well on her own, but with her trusty Bear by her side and some new intriguing men, she may just sort herself out. This book is a scavenger hunt, thrills, steam and past trauma aplenty - a total must read!

I’ve been looking forward to reading this story ever since I read about Von and Bear in Astin’s book. Von is an arm’s dealer, who is morally grey with daddy issues. She also is deathly allergic to feelings. There are lots of spicy scenes and an action packed plot. It’s a fun read so far and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

The Gunrunner Princess series is connected to Elizabeth Knight’s prior mafia why-choose romance series, Caprioni Queen, by way of the feral, unhinged smuggler (that’s the best way I can describe it, really) Von, also known as The Wolf. The Wolf and her mute companion, Bear, helped Astin and her men complete her takedown and takeover of the Five Families. In the process, Von finally gave up her vow of neutrality and swore a blood oath to Astin. At the end of the last book in the Caprioni Queen series, Von was last seen going off on the task she was set to: tracking down and killing the last two remaining Accardi heis, who have been in hiding for years. One for the Money starts with not only seeing the beginnings of the fallout from Von’s vow to Astin, but the story arc also follows Von’s quest to find those heirs and their awful stepmother, Serena Accardi.

I fell in love with Von during the Caprioni Queen series. I have a serious weakness for feral FMCs and the characters who love her, especially when the characters love her because she’s absolutely feral. Von is, unquestionably, unhinged. Personally, I wouldn’t have her any other way. Von is fun to read, as are her paramours. Her paramours in this book are Bear (of course), her longtime bodyguard and companion; and Erik, a veterinarian of dubious providence whom Von and Bear kidnap after an emergency that has them breaking into his vet office in the middle of the night.

This book does a terrific job of setting up the rest of the series without sacrificing character building, spice, relationship blocking (by which I mean building the connections between Von and her paramours as well as teasing about who else Von may be interested in), and letting us have insight into Von’s past. We also get to hear from Astin and Ivy from the Caprioni Queen series, even if Von doesn’t see them in the flesh.

There is no mm action in this installment, but it is suggested that in future installments there will be such a dynamic. This is always a plus for me, but I know it’s a no for some readers. I’m really looking forward to the next book, Two for the Show, because I absolutely need to know where Von’s search for the Accardi heirs is going and how they plan to take Serena Accardi down.

I was provided a copy of this title by the author. All thoughts, opinions, views, and ideas expressed herein are mine and mine alone. Thank you.

The Wolf

This book gets right to the point and hits the ground running! We met Von and Bear in the Caprioni Queen series and they are just as perfect as when we met them! Von picked a side and is no longer able to just work with anyone. With her mission set to find the missing brothers of the Accardi family and end that line for good, her task struggled to be more of a challenge than she originally thought.

With sheep coming out of the woodwork, Von is tasked with so much going on and being unable to trust people like before Astin. On a run for a lead, she finds herself more or less physically blown away and when Bear rushes her to a local veterinarian, she never expected to meet Erik. She sees the darkness in Erik that he tries to hide, but her darkness speaks to his. Will they ignite like the moth or a flame or will they perish before they even start?

With Bear, denial seems to be her forte. Deathly allergic to feelings, her past haunts her more than she cares to admit. So when the clue comes in where she can shove all of this stuff to the side to deal with later, she is determined to head balls to the wall to get the show going. It seems she has an admirer and while she doesn't know his intentions, she's having fun with the distraction.

When she finally comes face to face with the mystery man - it seems like they've already met and when the cliffhanger comes - you are left with your jaw on the floor! I enjoyed the introduction to Von's story and am definitely looking forward to more. I want more of everything and I definitely cant wait to see how that cliffhanger continues!

This book was fast paced and just did not stop. It was filled to the brim with steam and opened up Von to tough, brutal, vulnerable situations that exposed her more than anything. I loved getting to see the real her and am invested into this story of her life.

*Overall 4.5/5
*Heat? 5/5
*Fast burn
*Multiple first person POV
*so far MFM
*Ends on cliffhanger

Review:
Did I realise this was the first in the series until I got to the last line? No!

Was I left physically screaming and throwing my kindle across my bed? Yes!

Authors are mean! I HAVE to know what happens next, I can’t stop thinking about it!
I love Von she’s funny and badass and so completely clueless when it comes to Bear I just wanna shake her! She has a very complex past and as a result suffers from PTSD which is explored throughout the book. I like that we get to see and experience her episodes from both her perspective and the pov of both her men who are extremely overprotective of her.

I need a Bear in my life I can’t lie, if you’re looking for a touch her and I’ll kill you excruciatingly slowly while she tortures tf out of you, completely and utterly obsessed with her to the point he lets her use her until she realised that she actually is deeply in love with him, but will also look out for her and do whatever is in her best interests. He is 10000% the man for you, Mr Boyfriend has agreed to try some of my hobbies and you know damn well I will be getting him to read this book (for research purposes ofc!).

Erik is hiding something and I have a BIG hunch but I’m not sure if it’s right yet! So can someone please read this so I can scream text my theories with you thank you in advance🤭 I just love how quickly he was like fuck this I’m all in, like yum yes please!

One for the money has a great plot, complex characters that have so much chemistry and banter while remaining unhinged and dark. Elizabeth has done a fantastic job at entwining the dark gruesome nature of mafia life with the deep emotional impact caused by trauma and given us several fantastic relationships that show the complexities that come with loving someone who struggles with their mental health.

Definitely check the trigger warnings to make sure you look after yourself🥰

I’m new to this author, what intrigued me most about this book, but moreso, the story was the blurb, and I can safely say this book was worth it and you will not be disappointed.

Our FMC Von is queen in her own right. She’s powerful, intelligent, and deadly. She definitely knows how to hold her own, especially given that she runs her own criminal enterprise. She has a tight-knit group of friends, she is fierce as she is protective, and there is no other way to describe her. She has a predisposition for violence, but she is smart yet highly logical, which is a deadly combination.

Fate is a fickle thing. It is not to be trifled with, yet somehow Von has three guys to contest with. Bear is one guy you don’t want to cross, he’s scary yet obsessed with our leading lady, then there is Erik, he is the cool, calm and collected one of the group, he keeps the calm and just slots well into the group dynamics, and the wildcard, the unknown, will he work in the group dynamics or not, time will tell.

Everyone has a history, it makes them unique unto themselves, it makes them who they are and Von is no exception. When you read her story, you will understand why it is such an important aspect. And we can thank the authors clever writing skills as she intersects the perfect mix of character development and plot building.

If you love morally grey MMC’s, OTT jealous/ protective MMC’s, why choose, dark romance, trauma, mental health topics, touch her and die vibes, friends to lovers, lust to love, anti - hero, spice for days, hunting, car chasing, the dark web, explosions, murder, power play, found family and on the plus side abit of mystery then this story is for you.

Highly recommended both the book and the author.

I received an ARC. Therefore, I am submitting a voluntary review.

I knew as soon as we met Von in Astin's Caprioni Queen series that she was main character material. From those shorter scenes with her and Bear it was clear that she had a story that needed to be told, even before she was given the task to find the Accardi heirs. Her backstory is a dark and sad one, and she may not have come out of it unscathed, but she grew into such a powerful, take no prisoners type of woman. I really enjoyed watching her character development throughout this first book and how she slowly began to open up and address her feelings about her past and her present as well.
Von's guys in this book are some of my favorites! Bear is such a big Teddy! I love the devotion he has for Von and the way he takes care of her, giving her what she needs even if it forces him to ignore his own wants. When it comes to Erik, I didn't know what to expect from a vet and wasn't sure how he would fit into Von's world, but after learning more about his past, it was clear that he was made for this life as well. He eased right into Von and Bear's group with no major issues. As for Von's possible (but we obviously know it's gonna happen) third guy, Coronis, well, he certainly was a nice little twist that will throw a wrench in some of Von's plans, but I think his addition will make for a super fun and entertaining part of the story. At this rate, who even knows what will happen next. Von has got some major decisions to make regarding her next steps and I’m eager to see what she decides. I have a lot of questions about Coronis and his brother and I'm hoping we will get some answers in the next book.

When I decided to jump into One For The Money it was completely blind and not knowing there were any previous books in this criminal world. To me I feel it was better not having beforehand knowledge because there is always a possibility I might have passed and I'm extremely happy that I didn't. I love that this book isn't your typical mafia story, yes there is involvement throughout the book but One For The Money truly is so much more, which is what kept me flipping the pages excitingly, needing to learn more as quickly as possible.

Von is definitely my kind of girl. Unapologetically the alpha boss and doesn't care who approves or who she has to mow down to get out of her way. Bear is the first male introduced and I absolutely adore him the same way he does Von. That kind of loyalty is rare and I can't wait to see how these two evolve. Erik is a super intriguing character, someone caught between wanting to be a good guy and also not wanting to conform to the norm. He easily fits with the group and I love he doesn't get wishy-washy with what he wants. The suspense and plot really drives this book home, never knowing what will happen next or which character will make an appearance and why. I'm absolutely shocked with the ending and seriously can't wait til the next book comes out. One For the Money is absolutely a fantastic first book to this new series and very excited for what's in store to come.

I have been waiting for Von's story since we were introduced to her in Astin's series. Von and Bear's characters intrigued me and I knew I needed their story so when I found out that Elizabeth would be writing them I did a happy dance.
I took my sweet a** time reading this book savoring it and making it last as long as I could. Von is everything you think she would be. Her full throttle devil may care attitude not only keeps our favorite grumpy Bear on his toes, but will be sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. I adore Bear and how he feeds her darkness, and how he loves well love isn't the correct word its not a strong enough word for his feelings and his devotion for Von. There is so much that takes place within these pages, but I am keeping my review spoiler free and I refuse to ruin this for. I am a true believer in you need to experience this for yourself.
This book starts off with a BANG and does not slow down. I found myself totally immersed in the story since the author does such amazing job feeding my twisted dark soul with her words. I need the next book NOW and may have screamed out loud during my lunch in my cubicle at the ending so what I am saying is run don't walk and grab a copy and enjoy!

I haven't read the original series this is a spin off from so was going into this blind. Von is a powerhouse of an FMC; although she isn't running from her past it is the reason for the walls she has put up. I liked that Bear and Von didn't dance around for too long and already had an established on/off relationship rather than a third player entering the game being the reason for them taking things to the next level. Erik was a fun addition; a man under duress until he wasn't and once he was in he added a bit of fun to the dynamic. I liked the beginnings of a bromance with Bear and their back and forth was fun to read. Coronis is an absolute highlight in this; the drawing and the scavenger hunt - I know I am going to love reading more about him.

There is plenty of action in this among with the usual mafia tropes and I found it a page turner that engaged me the whole time I was reading it. The cliffhanger isn't too bad but it is a a definite game changer for book two!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

Fantastic Start!

From the moment we were introduced to Von in Astrid’s story I knew, well I hoped really hard, that we would get her story in a spin off series. I’m so thrilled that it’s here.

From the very beginning Von struck me as being a badass woman, that is adorably clueless to the interest of the guys around her. Add in a tragic past and take no prisoners attitude, she’s the epitome of the strong FMC that is amazing to read about. I love how Von has her own code that she sticks to. She’s smart, ruthless, cunning and has a logical reasons for what she does, even if the logic is not what you or I would agree with.

My biggest question, if how do I find myself a Bear? His complete devotion to her and her interests along with his obsession with her gives me the warm fuzzies and makes me slightly jealous. I also enjoyed how Erik fit into the dynamic along with the wildcard and I’m looking forward to seeing how the dynamic between them all develops.

As always, One For the Money has Elizabeth’s excellent, well paced plot, with enough action, mystery, and revelations that kept me engaged and reading right to the end. Add in her signature, well timed cliffhanger and I can’t wait to dive into the next book!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Jo, Bear and Erik. This is a dark book so you will want to heed the warning in the beginning of this book. This is also a why choose romance. I can tell you that Jo is one strong fierce and a little crazy female character. Her past is complex to say the very least. She is funny but at the same time suffers from PTSD. This part is really well written and you see it from her point of view as well as Bear and Erik's. The girl certainly has picked two guys who are super touch her and your gonna get it hurt vibes. Bear is going to steal your heart. He is whatever he needs to be for Jo, takes care of her and looks out for her. He is madly in love with her. Erik is the one you can't figure out. There is no way this guy is hiding something huge. He is just as crazy about her as Erk is. I don't want to talk about the story line and give something away. I think you need to go into it blind. But you will love these character's and they story they have to tell. Don't hesitate to get this book if you love dark and it is dark Mafia romance.

One For The Money is the first book in the Gun Runner Princess Series. It is a why choose, friends to lovers, forced proximity, mafia style romance with kidnapping, morally grey characters, a developing harem, and a strong FMC.

Von is a strong woman with a horrific and haunting past, she has made herself into a very successful weapon’s dealer. Bear also has a sad past, and is Von’s right hand man. Erik is an army medic veteran and current veterinarian who is kidnapped by Bear and Von. I 100% loved these three together! Their connection is palpable and I can’t wait to see what their relationship evolves into.

This is an amazing first book in this new series! I absolutely loved the storyline and the characters. The story was seriously so intriguing that I could not put it down, and I definitely didn’t want to. The writing, pace, and flow are outstanding, as is the character development, storytelling, relationship development, and world building.

I would absolutely highly recommend this book and cannot wait to see what comes next.

Please read TW's before diving into this one as it does get dark.

I enjoyed this book by Knight a lot - Von is certainly a unique character, and her growing group of men only add to the story. This series is related to Knight's "Caprioni Queen" series, but you can get away without reading that to understand the relationship of the characters (I've personally only read three of the four books in that series).

Von, Bear and Erik make an interesting trio, and throw in Von's job as a weapons dealer, and things definitely get interesting in the pages. There are twists and turns, and a surprising amount of emotions and character growth present in this book. I definitely found I have a soft spot for Bear - even more so when it's shown just how much he cares for Von.

Action packed, fast paced from the get go, the cliffhanger leaves you begging for the next installment - which I cannot wait to get my hands on when Knight publishes it.

So good!

This was my first Elizabeth Knight, and I am feeling sorry for only discovering her now, and wishing I had read the Caprioni Queen Series before I started this one.

But anywhooooo, Von, my girl Von she is amazing, so unhinged and perfect, and she made laugh so hard with her hyper-logic, but also broke my heart with her story and how she became The Wolf.
That makes you feel for her and her ever loving Bear, that man does not leave her side and does everything he can to protect her but also make her acknowledge her feelings.
Then you have Eric, that at first site is a good person, doing good things, but deep inside Von sees his demons and ends up alluring him to her.

This book is so fast-paced and with plenty of action, all types, if you know what I mean, that you get trapped in it.

It's a great book, and it's really H.O.T, it's a why choose, so plenty of hotness to go around.

It ends on a major cliffhanger, and now I will have to wait...

I am so in love with this story!!!

Gunrunner Princess is book #1 in the Gunrunner Princess series. This is a dark why choose romance. Make sure to check the authors website for trigger warnings.

I am obsessed with Von!!

If you have read the Caprioni Queen series, then you have met Von and Bear before, and let me just say, I loved them since then and getting this story has made me so happy!!!

Von is a baddie, but she also has some trauma she is still dealing with and reading about it made my heart hurt for her. Bear, this big, silent, sexy man, I absolutely ADORE him!! He is 100% team Von and has her back on everything. And the other guy, super hot and dreamy!!

Elizabeth Knight always creates the most amazing worlds with complex characters, and this one is no different. I can't wait for more in this series!

Brilliant! Didn’t want to put it down. This is the start of a second series in a shared world and you should read Caprioni Queen first (completed series). Some of the characters overlap and Von was introduced in the first series. This is a ‘build as you go’ group starting with one casual and by the end of this book there are 2 committed and a 3rd who ….let’s just say that the conclusion to the cliffhanger may answer that for you. Von is a crazy badass who bleeds people for fun, her men are ultimately built the same way. She’s been through some stuff but came out stronger and more determined and her besties are always at the other end of a phone. This book picks up where the last of Caprioni Queen ended; cleaning up what’s left of the bad apples of the crime families and Von’s on the hunt for a couple of hidden heirs, including a literal treasure hunt that one of the heirs sets for her.

Von is a gun runner with a hard and devastating past. She used that past to create a hardened exterior and let no one through.

Bear is her right hand man. She found him after a traumatizing event. And they have been side by side ever since. But since Avon doesn’t do feelings Near avoids pushing their relationship for more… for now.

Erik is added to the adventure under duress. But maybe he doesn’t like being there so much. Watching their relationship develop is so fun. And the banter they have is on point.

Coronis is a mystery and a key part to the next book in the series. From what can be gathered.

It’s a twisted and adventurous book. A lot going on in the plot line and in the relationships of the other characters. It ends on a brutal cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

Loved it!

When meeting Von and Bear in the Caprioni Series, I was already loving them, so Von having her own book(s) is even better! We even get to hear about some of our previous favorite characters. So, you definitely should read the Caprioni Series first, otherwise you'll be spoilered for it in this book.

Von is just plain crazy and Bear her perfect silent and broody partner in crime, literally. Add smut, murder, mayhem and a hunt to it and you'll be in for a wild ride.

There's different POVs, which I love, because then one just gets an even deeper insight to the story and also flashbacks to Von's past. The book is in a cliffhanger and I am excited to find out where Elizabeth will be taking us! CW - there are scenes that might be triggering to some, so please be aware of your limits.

I've been excited about this series since it was so very obviously a great idea during the Caprioni series. I totally thought we would get Ivy's series first, but I am not complaining.

Von and Bear were a really fun addition to the Caprioni series, so I knew their book would be fun and I was not wrong. I don't want to spoil a thing, which makes it difficult to say much. Bear was the grumpy Bear we came to love, but really showed his soft side. I loved his choice of reading not long after he and Von had a chat about commitment.

The other characters of love interest - again, trying to keep this spoiler free - were a great fit. I can't wait to see how things develop as the series continues!

This book completely blew me away, it was such a wild ride!
Von is absolutely fascinating, love her ‘don’t give a crap’ attitude and the way she doesn’t value life at all. Then there’s Bear, and his love for Von.
The dark elements to this book were fantastic, love the links with Astin.
The addition of a new character to this duo of Von and Bear was mesmerising, you never knew if murder was going to happen - planned or otherwise.
Felt this book sets you up for it to kick into gear in the next addition to this series, don’t get me wrong I loved it. But it’s setting the scene, introducing the characters and showing the links.
The steamy scenes were hot AF and full of kink.
Overall a great read and can’t wait for book 2

The Gunrunner Princess series is connected to Elizabeth Knight’s prior mafia why-choose romance series, Caprioni Queen, by way of Von, also known as The Wolf. At the end of the last book in the Queen series, Von was last seen tracking down and killing the last two remaining Accardi heirs. One for the Money's story arc follows Von’s quest to find those heirs and their awful stepmother.

Von is, unquestionably, unhinged. Her lovers in this book are Bear, her longtime bodyguard and companion; and Erik, a veterinarian whom Von and Bear kidnap. This book does a terrific job of setting up the rest of the series without sacrificing character building, spice, and letting us have insight into Von’s past.

we finally get Von's story and i'm so excited. She is the Gunrunner Princess. I definitley recommend reading Astin's series first because this one will make more sense then.
Von is a crazy kick butt amazingly deadly woman. She has her own empire separated from her families. She is best friends with Ivy and Astin. She has her own harem...Not that she totally wants them. Bear is her main guy who is crazy obsessive protective of her. Erik is the calm to their storm. and a possible other addition. the way their relationships build and grow is very fun to watch. We got to see more of Von's history which was nice, we learn what makes her tick. this book was definitley a wild fun ride... i cant wait to see more of Von and Bear

I’ve been looking forward to Von’s story since she and Bear were first mentioned in the Caprioni Queen Series. This first book in the Gunrunner Series is freaking amazing!!

Von is a gunrunner and the best in the biz. After she swears a blood oath to her bestie Astin, she sets about tracking the two remaining Accardi heirs.

Von is an absolute baddie. I knew she would be from the glimpses we saw of her in Aston’s story. She’s powerful, intelligent, and downright deadly. Not to mention a little bit crazy. Bear is absolutely obsessed with Von and I’m all here for it. Bear intrigues me and I really enjoy his relationship with Von.

This book starts off with a bang and does not let up. I found myself totally immersed in the story and dying at the cliffhanger. I need book two now…please!

Von and her men are amazing! Von the perfect mix of strength, crazy, and fire. Bear is amazingly loyal and obsessed. Erik is showing us how crazy and dark he really is. Coronis is dedicated crazy so far. I’ve looked forward to learning more about Von since we met her with the Caprioni’s and I was not disappointed except that we have to wait for more! Von’s story is horrifying and it explains so much of how she’s become who she is. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of times I absolutely laughed throughout this. I thought I had caught on to the big reveal at the end and I’m sincerely hoping something stops that cliffhanger from going further next book. I can’t wait for more!
