I liked this trilogy overall. It's a pretty solid omegaverse and definitely the best that I've read by Marie Mackay. I loved the 3 men in this story, and I liked Shatter too. It had moments where it was actually pretty funny. My favorite scenes were of the pack just living their day to day lives/when there was less "plot" involved tbh. I really can't even choose a favorite between the 3 men because I really liked each of them for their own quirks and storylines.

The world-building kind of lost me in this one. There was just so much going on. I had a hard time navigating all of the bonds, auras, sicknesses, experiments, theories etc. There was basically a ton of omegaverse science in this book, and it got so complicated that I couldn't follow. I think the information was all there in the book, but it was hard to remember, and I got bored during the long-winded explanations of what was wrong with each character and what needed to happen so I'd start to skim. There were just too many layers, and it started to hurt my brain. The world-building was the weakest part of this book, and I think the conflict just got a little away from Marie Mackay, so it wasn't tied up very cleanly in my opinion. I was a bit confused about the ending events.

That said, overall, I'd recommend this trilogy for the characters and the romance. The conflict and world-building was a bit too convoluted, but the characters made this book special.

This one didn’t pick up until the last hundred pages or so and even then, it was underwhelming a bit. All of that anticipation fizzled out in the end. But overall, this was a pretty entertaining series. Dusk really grew on me and I liked all the characters. If anything, I don’t think they paid enough attention to Dusk. He just wanted to make sure everyone was okay and truly believed he wasn’t needed in the pack. The plot was a little messy and confusing to follow at times but I’m happy enough with how it ended. A pretty decent omegaverse and I’ll be checking out more from this author for sure.

Testing Trilogy.
What a finish to this trilogy. There is soo much going on but Mackay provides us with all the answers required. I like how we are never quite sure whether Shatter and her three men are going to get the HEA because honestly there is so much that goes wrong for them 😣 and honestly these alphas are the epitome of morally grey men - they would sacrifice everything for their girl and the future of their packmates. 🥰 They certainly know how to make fireworks when they come together 🌶🔥 There is plenty of action within this book and temperaments are certainly testing - lovely the feral omega cupboard scene 😂 if only we could all let go like that! Although these guys all get each other there is an undeniable brotherhood and they are determined to sort their auras out. Flyn and his pack are just awful and certainly present problems 😔 I like how Shatter is the one though!! A great book too end.

Shatter will do whatever it takes to protect her pack against they are her Alphas, and no one will take her away from them. Not even the Lincoln pack. I've enjoyed these books from the start and seen how shatter has changed throughout the series and I'm so happy for her and the end of this book. I loved the way it was shatter that ended it all and the way it happened was interesting but so good. As the saying goes. 'Where there's a will there's a way' And she found it YAY!!!

This series is a complete must read and im so grateful to have been asked to read the ARC for each one. They are all fantastic.

All I can say is that I LOVED IT!! When you get deep into the OV you really start to want stories around very niche aspects of the dynamic. This trilogy is alpha and omega tendencies on overdrive and it was so freaking good! The Poisonverse that Mackey has created is so very amazing in what she has done with bonds and the science behind it. I honestly thought she had worked herself into a massive hole that was going to be so anticlimactic when she worked out of it or that it would fall flat. (I’ve read/seen it so many times.)

But she proven me wrong. She didn’t let me down. She took a series that started off strong and legitimately only got better! It got more romantic, more heartbreaking, more shocking, more developed, more technical, more hot. I love love love this series so much!

Shattered Omega part three picks up almost literally where the previous book in the series left off, with everyone absolutely devastated by what damage the Lincoln Pack has truly wrought–not only to their apartment, but also to their lives.

And even though Umbra is losing it, Dusk is struggling, and Ransom is panicking…Shatter is dressing for revenge. This time it’s not in the form of a dress, though: It’s in the form of knowledge. The Kingsman Pack is hers, and the Lincoln Park hurt them. Shatter is going to arm herself with as much knowledge as she possibly can in as fast a manner as possible to figure out how to save her alphas and get the Lincoln Pack out of their lives for good.

If her alphas can keep their sh*t together. If the weird mercenary dude the Lincoln Pack has following her around doesn’t straight-up kidnap her first. Just another day for Shatter, right?

This being the last book in the series you can really feel the payoff in so many ways. Shatter is such a unique and creatively-written omega that I find myself almost predicting her reactions and when she does something I’ll say, “That’s just so Shatter”. She’s the cutest, most feral little omega I’ve ever read and I love her to bits. (I don’t know if anyone who reads this review has ever seen the anime Toradora!, but in my mind, Shatter looks a little like Taiga). There are scenes in this book that make me love her so much I want to crawl in the book and be her omega bestie (we can rent a rage room).

The alphas are just as bad, with their insanely cute gestures and endless love for Shatter just the way she is. It’s just the right amount of marshmallow-cute to combat the trauma and darkness that permeates this series.

While I think the ending got a little muddled, I’m not mad about it. I was just so happy to finally read this book and see Shatter and the boys get what they always wanted and really deserved.

I was provided a copy of this title by the author. All thoughts, opinions, views, and ideas expressed herein are mine and mine alone. Thank you.

I loved Shatter in this, she’s just too darn cute. I went back and read Havoc killed her Alpha which is Decibels (Caspian) story which is set AFTER this one and the world building needs more attention to detail and consistency. The rules for bonds are different as is Caspians personality. Roman suddenly has a brother named Eli, when here he was the last of his line? But it was still good, I like the universe, the author just needs to choose the lore and carry it through.

This was a good ending to Shatters story, if a bit too simple, better than I’ve been reading!

Rating: 2 ⭐️⭐️
This book really went downhill quick from the good storytelling and character development of the first two. The writing was so confusing at some points and the characters seemed so different. I think that it was such a lost opportunity not exploring Dusk’s character at all. It seemed like Shatter didn’t even want him at all, she just used him for her pleasure and then threw him aside again. There was so much of the book showing her love and connection to the other two when he was the one that found her and saved her and that was very annoying to read. It was especially devastating when he admitted to Decebal that he felt like his pack didn’t need him and they had everything they could need without him and then that sentiment was never addressed again. There was no resolution for that or for Umbra trying to take over as pack leader. This book was basically 80% sex scenes and Shatter saying she was mad at Dusk and being mean to him. Even when he was the one that designed her dream wedding ring and proposed, they only really had one scene showing somewhat of a connection and then they never spent alone time together again, which was so weird when she had many scenes with the others. I think that’s my issue when people write reverse harem, but especially omega verse. They do not know how to write equal love stories and there always ends up being one cast aside and maybe it’s just the empath in me but it makes the story sad and enjoyable to read. Especially when he is pack lead and there should be some greater connection between them, as said by both of the other mmcs in the book, you don’t see that at all.
Overall a very disappointing ending and third book of the series. If you’re going to write three books for one story, you should be able to properly conclude the narrative.

Wow! Absolutely Amazing!!

Yet again this last book has taken me through every emotion possible! Even though Shatter has been through so much she is still standing strong willing to fight for everything she ever wanted in the world - love & family!
Dusk, Umbra & Ransom as such awesome alpha men, each having their own wonderful personality! And wow the love between them all just jumps at you!!
The way the whole story unfolded and wrapped up was beyond brilliant and so clever! What an amazing, amazing journey! ❤️

This was so amazing! I’ve been feigning for this one. I love Umbra’s relationship with the guys. As if it wasn’t evident enough, this book proves they are all willing to die to save one another. Every page I was prepared to cry. This entire book is a page turning dramatic ending. It was great.

3.5 but rounding up.

So this was a satisfying, if somewhat predictable, ending. The whole Arkology thing is still confusing to me, but in the end, it isn’t as important as the characters.

I still don’t like the name Shatter, even if she gave herself that name. But despite that, I like her character. She’s neurotic in a cute way, and very protective of her pack.

The guys are all adorable in their own ways. Umbra is still my favourite, a dark and haunted presence yet the funniest one of all. Ransom still felt a little…. Generic, even though I liked him. Maybe compared to the strong personalities of Dusk and Umbra, he doesn’t have a fair chance. Dusk is like the pack daddy, and while I didn’t like him at the beginning of the first book, I definitely like him now.

Best line for me, from Umbra (of course):

“It was an absolute truth already lodging deep into everything I knew to be right in the world. I dug my spoon into my banana split and took another bite. (Turns out I didn’t like bananas either, which seemed like a stupid thing not to have figured out by now.)”

The writing was good, but some of the punctuation was wrong (most people probably don’t even care), and lots of repetitive words. Example: “which was enough to calm my nerves just enough.”

I think the author has an obsession with the colour ‘cream’, and if I had a nickel for every time I read ‘honey hair’, I’d probably have at least $3. I get that scent is a big thing in Omegaverseland, but it seemed a little excessive. Of course, I haven’t read much of this genre, so I’m guessing it’s a constant. I find it tedious. Kind of like mentioning everyone’s skin colour all the time, or Dusk’s yellow eyes. But this is just me nitpicking.

Overall, I enjoyed the series. I still have confused questions, but eh, I’ll survive.

I did skim over the sex scenes, because if you’ve read one, you’ve read them all. Pretty much the same, just with different or multiple guys. If you like knotty spice (see what I did there?), you’ll be quite satisfied.

What an ending to a remarkable series!!! Marie, your writing is magic🔮🔮🔮

Where do I begin. Part 3 really ties everything together so well. It all makes sense of how they are all connected the way they are. It's full of twists and turns that had my mind spinning...

Shatter, love her so much! She is so unique and different but it makes her who she is. I personally think she's also kind of a genius (mentioned this before for sure 😊) because the way she pieces things together is unmatched. I love that she truly comes into her own in part 3. There are points in the story that shows just how powerful she truly is and I love that for her.

Umbra, Ransom and Dusk. How could I not love these guys. They are everything and they are so good to and for Shatter. They understand her in a way that no one else does and it's so beautiful to see them coming together for Shatter and each other. The guys really go through it this book, but there Shatter is, refocusing them on what matters most 💕

I could go on and on about these characters but i don't want to give anything away. I am so sad to say goodbye to Shatter and her alpha's but so excited for their future because it's so bright!

Shout out to Roxy. She is amazing and I'm so glad Shatter found a friend in her. She's loyal to the bone. I hope Roxy finds her happily ever after, she deserves it 💜

Oh and also Mord??? I want to know more about him. I've tried to find him in the Poisonverse series but I can't💗💗💗

Please check your triggers warnings with this one as it's a delves into darker topics at times ⚠️

Thank you so so much to Marie and her beautiful team for giving me the chance to read this story. I am forever grateful 🙏 All opinions are honest and my own 🩷

I recently finished reading “Shattered Omega: Part Three” by Marie Mackay, the concluding book of her PoisonVerse Noir series.

The final chapter of Part Two provided readers with answers to why Shatter woke up in a lab, the reason behind her deadly Omega scent, the origins of Dusk and Umbra, the cause of their illness, and the lethal connection between the Kingsman and Lincoln packs. This book also ended on a cliffhanger.

Part Three picks up after the events of Part Two and plays up Shatter’s transformation. She is prepared to risk everything for her pack, even if it means seeking answers from the man she believed was her uncle, who provides her with new Arkology information. Armed with this new knowledge, she devises a plan to save her Alphas, which she knowingly puts herself in direct danger with the Lincoln pack.

The conclusion of the story was less satisfying than I anticipated. I found myself skipping numerous chapters and focusing on the parts of the story that were leading to the resolution of the conflict. Ransom, Shatter’s third Alpha in the story, felt underutilized and her best friend seemed like an afterthought. An additional conflict with a side character, Jasmine, felt forced and seemed to be inserted into the story to add unnecessary drama.

While I enjoy the heat in omegaverse stories, the spice in this book seemed misplaced or added to scenes merely for the sake of inclusion.

Rating this book is challenging for me. It did not meet my expectations or match the quality of the first two books in the series. I found myself rolling my eyes frequently while reading this book. However, Part Three does offer a somewhat satisfying conclusion. The resolution to the main conflict ended abruptly and was jarring when Flynn, pack leader of the Lincoln pack, unexpectedly ended his own life. I appreciated that this led to Dusk and Umbra’s survival. Another aspect that caused me to roll my eyes and shake my head was when the dark bond turned into a princess bond after Flynn’s death.

Despite my mixed feelings, I still recommend this book to readers who are fans of the series and might appreciate the conclusion of this story more than I did.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Marie Mackay for providing me with the opportunity to read this book in advance. I am eagerly looking forward to more of her omegaverse stories.

In this 3rd and final installment of Shatter and her Alphas, we wrap up all of the mystery. When last we read about our hero's they were getting answers, their apartment had been broken into, and life was going nuts all around. This wraps the story up, with several cameo's from Havoc Killed Her Alpha. Honestly, I love how this ended, I have said it before, but Marie Mackay writes amazing suspense/mystery, and this is no exception.

The continued world building is amazon, the writing/storytelling is excellent as always, good amount of spice, and almost great character development. I know...WTF. Apparently Umbra's backstory is too sad to tell, so we don't know what happened to get him where he was. And it makes me want to hug the poor cinnamon roll alpha even more. BUT, everything else gets tied up nice and neat, we get a visit from some old friends, and an old enemy, we get more story, and answers questions that were brought up in very early books, and yes, I want more. cause I am spoiled like that.

Please, go check out Shattered Omega Parts and 1 and 2 first, and then read this one, it is a long, spicy tale of heartbreak. betrayal, and mystery. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll want to give fictional characters a hug for having to deal with so much horrible shit. Go, get the first to books, then come back for this one, it is totally worth the ride.

Shatter gives the Feral Omega trope a good name. She is, by far, one of the best omega characters I've ever read. I just love her interactions with not only her pack, but her omega best friend and even her kidnapper! I mean, what characters gets a non-love interest character to befriend them?

Chapter 10 specifically had me in near tears with laughter. I love Marie Mackay's characters, but Shatter is a different breed.

The last book of this trilogy and a worthy ending to the story. I was expecting all the drama and sacrificial moments, but the twists were unexpected and so damn good. Drool-worthy spicy scenes and an HEA that had me grinning like the Cheshire cat.

We get a resolution to the feud between the Lincoln and Kingsman Packs. Resolution to the secrets revealed in book 2 and the growing passion between the Kingsman Pack and Shatter. Not to mention Shatter continues to grow and evolve, knowing that just because she doesn't fit in, doesn't mean she can't be herself and loved. Roxy is kickass. As a Christmas lover, I want to know who she ends up with but I'll settle for off-screen if needed.

Also, Ransom vs Logan? Needed that.

Also, small spoiler: Moon Dust. I laughed so hard, I'm pretty sure I scared the neighbours.

This was the conclusion we needed to our very core. It answered all the questions and solved all the problems. But it was no easy task getting there.

Shatter knows she belongs with the Kingsman pack. But she also knows she’s willing to do anything to save them. Even giving herself up to the Lincoln pack. But not without setting herself up for the best outcome possible.

Everyone is this story is working on a way to save their pack and mostly save Shatter. But they are all willing to sacrifice themselves in order to achieve this. Shatter is not. She wants her pack whole at the end of this. Not broken or dying.

The twists and turns is takes to get where it’s going are a fun ride. This book is less have than the previous ones. And when it peaks the conclusion comes fast afterwards. So you aren’t having your heart cleaved from your body for too long.

Watching Umbra, Dusk, and Ransom work so hard for their omega and love her the way she is. And develop something special out of the chaos and mess that their lives were. It is definitely something precious.

I received an ARC of this for free. I am voluntarily leaving this review.

Marie Mackay is an author who just keeps getting better with each book published. Shattered Omega pt 3 is no exception. The end of the second book ended with a real doozy of a plotline, and the way she resolved it in this book was stunning. This last book was complex without being convoluted, heartfelt and intriguing. The characters are so dimensional and enjoyable.

Shatter is awkward but endearing, brave, and a little unhinged in the best ways, and I absolutely adore Shatter. Dusk, Umbra, and Ransom really are well written and diverse, small things that make each character unique and fun. Creating a very fresh pack dynamic. Writing a pack of Alphas that have genuinely different characteristics that you can tell them apart is one of Marie Mackay’s specialties.
This series started off very strong and did not waiver. Truly a great finish to the series.
10/10 overall
Some spice, but did not interfere with the plotline and was not overdone.

Wow. I think it's so hard to end a series as strongly as it starts but this was the perfect conclusion to Shatter's story. I loved it and could not stop reading it.

This omegaverse is more technical and has a lot of history that is explained over three books so well. I never felt like I was getting lost in the details. However, my favorite parts of this book weren't really for the plot it was just the boys, Shatter, and Roxy and their little moments together. I almost always have a favorite in a why choose buy I could not pick between these three. They are all unique and insane in their own ways and I love them. I am also so impressed that even though Ransom has a whole book less to make an impact he still manages to. Honestly just really enjoyed this book!

However, I do have some things I feel like I still need. Umbra's background. I really want to read it! I would also like a Mord Sato story - I think there is more to him. And of course Roxy. I loved her! Can we see her HEA too?!

Do not read this until you’ve read Parts 1 and 2. They must be read in order!!!

Review may contain spoilers for first 2 books. You’ve been warned…….

Loved this conclusion to this amazing trilogy. I have yet to find a book from Marie that I didn’t love.

Part 2 leaves us with he unknown after the enemy pack breaks into the Kingsman’s and destroys Shatter’s nest. They know she is their scent match so now they are under the wire to find a solution to the parasitical bond they have with the Lincoln pack. Dusk, Umbra, and Ransom are only looking to protect Shatter, and she is only looking to protect them. Will they all be able to save each other before their self-destructive plans are played out. So far the only solution they know of requires them to give up their bond with Shatter to the Lincoln pack, but that is the last thing they want to do. What lengths will Shatter go to in order to save her men. What will they give up to save her also…..

I really enjoyed this book and the ending was so well done. I was stressed and teary and so happy all in turns. It was a real rollercoaster of emotions.

I love this pack. Shatter is so smart and also so very sweet. I love how she's grown over the series. She is starting to become more sure of herself and give into her omega instincts more. She's not taking over the town but she definitely rules her pack. The pack is one of my favorite. They are kind of messy at times, but they all love each other so much and are desperate to save their packmates from the parasitic bond. It's sweet to see more of the individual relationships growing even stronger. And there was a lot more time with Ransom in this book as he gets healthier.

The side characters are icing on the cake. I love Roxy almost as much as Shatter. She has been such a key support for her and the pack. Decebal is a great advocate and sounding board. And an intriguing new character pops up.

The outside world sees an Omega who was rejected by her scent matches and dark bonded by another pack. They see a broken omega. It’s a lie. She was broken. Her pack was broken. Until they found each other they were inconceivably damaged. Together they feel whole. However, their time is running out.  Shatter needs the world to believe the lie. She wants to turn the lie on her scent mates, so she can save them all.
This final book was a mixed bag. We did get the needed answers to some lingering questions and there was a resolution but the story dragged. The characters seemed to take a backseat to the experimental plotline. When the focus was on the day-to-day lives of the pack, the story thrived but it got bogged down by the alpha illnesses. The ending was excellent and made up for the slow pacing. I do wonder about Mort Sado. He seemed to have more to say than he was allowed. There’s more story there.

This was the perfect conclusion to the trilogy! I loved seeing the Lincoln Pack get what they deserved, and I enjoyed seeing Shatter's happy ending. Ransom was still my favorite by the end of this book, and he became more lovable as we learned more about him.

Marie wrapped up the entire story well and I wasn't left with any questions by the end. I think she also did a great job explaining the science behind Shatter's odd scent phenomena, her descriptions were well thought out but didn't feel too scientific or confusing.

I REALLY loved reading more about Decebal (or Caspian) as well. He was not the nicest character in Havoc Killed Her Alpha so I loved seeing his softer side in this book. He was in it more than I expected and I found myself smiling every time he appeared.

Overall, this was a really solid trilogy and I would recommend it to all fans of Omegaverse and/or dark romance. I will be rereading these books again soon, I'm sure!

I skimmed a lot in this last book. I've read the duet by this author and I feel very similarly to this trilogy. I feel like it's good and very descriptive. However, I felt so confused most of the time. I don't feel like things were explained well enough for me to keep up. I literally was trying to study, as in schoolwork to try and keep up or to decipher what things meant. I read these back to back so it's not like I went a major period of time in between each book.
They were just so confusing.
I liked the different take on the Omegaverse that this author did. It was super unique and gave it a refreshing view from other Omegaverse storylines. I think the imagination needed to be a bit more mapped out instead of explaining something in one chapter and then expecting to keep going and adding in something else that came out of nowhere, especially at the end of the book.

I don't know. I feel really conflicted with this author.

What. An. Ending. This did exactly what I wanted it to do: gave me all the feels while also making sure my baby Shatter gets her HEA. I love that even though yes, there were moments where Shatter doubted herself and wanted to “be like other omegas”, she stayed entirely herself, quirks and all, right up until the end. This book had a perfect mix of spice and plot. As always, this author does an amazing job of making you fall in love with all of the characters, even if some take a bit longer to get with the program 😜

I also love that we meet part of Decebal’s pack before they meet their omega without fully realizing that his pack’s story has already been written! There are definitely hints to it, and I didn’t realize until almost the end! I was definitely wanting to read more about them and I’m so happy that I can (see: Havoc k***ed her Alpha).

This story has been the wildest ride I've ever read and I'm beyond devastated that it's over! Marie did an impeccable job writing this masterpiece! Definitely must read part one and two before you read this.
Shatter has grown so much since the beginning. She's found her true mates, found herself and who she wants to be as an omega, and found a beautiful friendship. Between Dusks realizations, Umbras price, and Ransoms awakening everyone has grown as individuals as well as a pack, and a true family. The drama has been *chefs kiss*, the action has been intense, the plot is mind blowing, and the spice and suspense is out of this world. There's nothing I don't love about this book and the whole Poisonverse.
So excited to see what Marie has planned next, besides Queen of Diamonds. Already looking forward to that!
