Garabandal -- the Warning and the Great Miracle: The Divine Reset That Will Correct the Conscience of the World
Garabandal is a book about the great HOPE coming to humanity in the not to distant future.
Although no date is precisely mentioned, events are much closer as we look at the state of the world, and the moral slide of humanity. The Warning, the Great Miracle, and the Permanent Sign are like three acts all in the same play that will all happen in no more than one year once the Warning happens. It is the ultimate act of Mercy and Grace for humanity.
For those who follow Garabandal, it is obvious the prophecies that were given to four young girls in northern Spain from 1961-65, are events the world has never seen before. The Warning is where everyone in the world at the same time will have an "illumination of conscience" where they will see the state of their soul where they will see the state of their soul where God would judge them at their death. After that will appear a Great Miracle at the nine pines of Garabandal. These events have never been seen in the world before, and will not be explained by science. It is an enjoyable read from start to finish where the reader will feel genuine hope when they finish the book. No prophecies have even been given like these in Church history. God is in control.

This is not an easy book to read, and I only skimmed it*. I visited Garabandal in 2007, only one of two Marian apparition sites I have visited. I went on a pilgrimage with a friend that year to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at Fátima. After that we went by bus to other sites and eventually to the little mountain village of Garabandal, which stood in stark contrast to the larger town of Fátima. While Fátima is anything but commercialized, and thank goodness is nothing like a large city (and I pray it never becomes one!) it is significantly larger than Garabandal (at least when I visited it in 2007) which seemed to me to have retained its 1960s simplicity and old-world charm. Perhaps, since Garabandal was never officially approved, it has managed to escape becoming a tourist attraction.
Mr. Flynn ties the many 20th and 21st century Marian apparitions together, interspersing them with some general history of those years as well as specific information about Communism, Spain, and Free Masonry. It is a confusing narrative at times and often depressing. Perhaps if I hadn't skimmed it, it would have been less confusing, but I don't think I would have finished it any other way as the state of the world just brings me down. I don't know how God can put up with us or an author can bring himself to write about such things. 😢

Mary's message to the children is that humanity and its institutions have become so degraded, corrupt, and sinful that only a Divine Reset by God can truly heal. He loves us, unconditionally, and he wants every human being on the road to perdition to have the opportunity and clarity to repent and atone for their sins. The Warning of Garabandal will provide this opportunity for every single person in the world!

A much needed read during Lent
Wonderful synopsis of Garabandal and what is happening today in the Church and in the world. This book gave me great hope for what Christ and His blessed Mother have in store for us.

Take Seriously
Give credence to what is revealed. The patience of Christ is running out on this sinful world. Conversion must take place in our lives and result in believing more so, repenting and working out our salvation. The time is NOW!

Was actually able to borrow this from the library and actually went and bought it. For anyone interested in Marian apparitions and signs of the times....
