My favourite 2023 cookbook. I got it as an eBook (because: way cheaper) but I have actually put it on my watch list for a secondhand physical copy as well, since I used many of the recipes already and it's nicer to have a physical book when you're in the kitchen. I love oatmeal, so this book is right up my alley. Everything's vegan, and most of the recipes are quite easy. It's great that there's also savory recipes, which I was a little scared of, but they're great. The author's website also has great recipes, not just oats (healthyslowcooking.com). I'm a fan!

I LOVE oats, so I was really excited to find this book at the library. Unfortunately, I knocked over a cup of water while reading and the library wouldn’t take it back with the water damage. Now I’m not so sad because it has recipes worth trying. My only criticism is that I don’t have or know where to find many of the ingredients, like Teff and Cultured Soy. Since I’m unfamiliar with those ingredients, I also don’t know what to sub for them. Worth a read if you’re an oat lover!

I didn't actually make any of the recipes, but there are some that sound decent.

I love this book! One of the best I have read. I'm trying to lower my cholesterol and oats are one way to do that so I have been using this book quite a bit.... So far my favorite recipes are the oat creamer and the sausage crumbles are amazing! I have used them in spaghetti and tacos so far and it's very difficult to tell the difference from ground beef! Also very easy to make! And the golden gravy mix is so good! I really need to just buy this book and stop borrowing it from the library lol

A beautifully laid out book about my favorite food: Hard to go wrong. And also, vegan.
The "Elvis Oatmeal" was not a winner in our household, but the baked apple & pear breakfast oatmeal was really great, as were the PB oat bars. So sad that I have to return it to the library... I'm definitely going to purchase it and keep working my way through the recipes!

I have read this, but haven't tried a lot of recipes yet because its arrival coincided with a bit of oatmeal burnout. Looking forward to trying some of the savory recipes especially.

Love the binding of this book. All paperback cookbooks should be bound like this. It lies open very easily without having to break the spine.

Most of the recipes look delicious and I'm looking forward to trying a whole bunch. So far, I've tried the Hot Chocolate recipe which came out really well. You really can't tell there are even oats in it.

If you think oats are only a breakfast food, to be served sweetened with sugar and milk, you need to try this cookbook. The savory steel cut oats recipes are fantastic!

Slechte Nederlandse titelvertaling, maar er staan heerlijke recepten in.
