"I want a divorce."
That’s the first thing she says to me after a decade of silence.
And we’re not even married yet.
Her demand, the way her grandmother talks to her, and how she’s treated by the town trigger me. This is just a business arrangement that’ll save both our ranches, neither of us want this marriage, but I’ll keep her safe by making her my wife.
My wife.
Those words are as powerful as her first ones to me.
The rings on her finger are temporary, so tell me why I want them to remain there permanently?

This was a wild ride! So buckle up and get your saddle ready to head to the 7Cs.

This was a slow burn, childhood friends to enemies to lovers who are forced into a marriage with rival families. There are a lot of things at stake and memories that haunt their steps at every turn. There were mysteries and miscommunications, secrets and revelations. This was a complex and rich world that kept me captivated right from the beginning.

I felt so much for Zee when she returned to her home town. She's forced back by her grandmother and the shoved into a marriage with Colt to unite the Korhonen and the McAllister families. She was basically chased away many years ago, when she was in the wrong place at the wrong time and saw the wrong thing. The whole town labels her a pariah, but the one who really hurt her was Colt. Because he didn't believe her and completely shut her out. So to forced into marriage with him and face all the cruel words and side-long glances is the LAST things she wants to do.

Colt isn't too thrilled either but he's the one up at the altar when the deal needs to get done. Sure, he wishes it wasn't with Zee, but that doesn't last too long. He realizes what a mistake he made and then goes on a campaign to win her trust and secure both their family lines. He was SO tender and caring and thoughtful. I fell for him more with every page.

I really liked all the characters we were introduced to. The Korhonen and the McAllister clans are filled with an eclectic bunch of people. I look forward to seeing what drama they bring us next. There are also some cameos and mentions of Serena Akeroyd's other worlds as Zee has been working with the Sinner's MC previously.

My only little gripe is that, I was hoping this was a Baby Deal romance with how it was set up. But gosh darn, we never quite got around to that. Which made me kinda sad. Oh well...

There was also a great representation of Type 1 Diabetes with Zee. It is truly a condition that you can't ignore or hide from and I loved how everyone in her new family was all in on helping her. Haha! It actually led to some very cute scenes.

I listened to the audio of this and it was wonderfully performed by Connor Crais and Stella Hunter. They make a great pair.

Trope: small town

Wonderful story! Things Left Unsaid is a wonderful slow burn to fiery hot love story between two people forced together for the sake of their families. Their shared history from their childhood friendship certainly cranked up the angst. The storyline was interesting, paced well, and had great romantic suspense elements. I loved the cameos from all the different Serena Aneroid characters ❤️. If you're a fan of small-town, cowboy billionaire stories, you're going to love it too!

Captivating, chaotic, charming, chilling, and Canadian to its core! Small town, slow-burn, age-gap goodness with cowboys, horses, and mystery thrown in to keep you turning the pages. Things Left Unsaid takes you on a journey of discovery in the lives of Susanne "Zee" McAllister and Colton Korhonen. Living on ranches that share a border, they've known each other most of their lives, through good times and bad. Unfortunately, the worst time in their history forced them apart for a decade, leaving bad feelings for both families. The age gap always bothered Colt more than the young girl who found refuge on his ranch. As the eldest of four boys, Colt took to ranching the land of his ancestors. Zee had enough of the tragedies dealt to her, fleeing to New York and working as a paralegal far from the small town of Pigeon Creek, Saskatchewan. Thanks to interfering family members, an arranged marriage forces Colt and Zee to unite the two ranches. It starts a domino effect for a series of events that will rock the two families. Intrigue, mysterious missives, criminal activity, and hostility bring Colt and Zee closer to each other, proving that a slow-burning longing sets a good foundation for a marriage that will stand the test of time.

Audible:
Listening to this was pure gold! I loved Connor Crais as Colton Korhonen and Stella Hunter as Susanne "Zee" McAllister. These two narrators brought this fantastic, slow-burn, arranged marriage story to life for me. Colt and Zee - a Canadian cowboy and his ex-pat neighbour are brought together to rescue her ranch by their meddling family members. The chemistry between Colt and Zee plays out in the voices of Connor and Stella so beautifully that you can feel the heat between them and see the Bar IX and 7Cs spread out in front of you. Intrigue, steam, and chaos are involved in their courtship, strengthening their bond, but will Colt and Zee be able to beat the odds and last as long as their land?

"Only a sadist isn't into happily-ever-afters"- Cole Korhonen.

I didn't want this book to end. I took my time to savour every page and glory in the warm hug this book offers. If you are a fan of G.A.Mazurke (or her alter ego Serena Akeroyd) this is a bit of a change of pace but is just as beautifully crafted. In fact, I think this series may turn out to be a favourite of mine.

Things Left Unsaid is a slow burning, arranged marriage, family, small town romance set around the world of Pigeon Creek and two family ranches. The slow burn is a delicious tease as our two leads are so crazily heated together. The chemistry crackles off the pages long before we get even the hint of a kiss. Zee, the FMC, is a loyal and dependable friend and passionate advocate for those she loves. She is a paralegal for the incredibly feisty and powerful Rachel (she is a whole other story. See Rex and Rachel from Serena Akeroyd) and gives her all to her life in NYC. You feel the love that people have for her and the importance she has in others lives from her goodbye with her boss to her bestie, Tee, taking charge of her diabetes alerts. The narrative gives such a depth to peoples emotions and the subtext behind all the character interactions.

Zee is called back to Pigeon Creek to help save her family ranch through an arranged marriage to her secret childhood friend, Colton. The McAllisters' and Korhonens' have been rivals for years and their marriage would form a powerful family union and progress both family ranches forward. The situation is not ideal. But to please her fearsome grand-mere, Zee is willing to play her part on her own terms.

Colton is the Korhonen patriarch. He has helped to raised his brothers and has tried to instil decency where their own father failed. He is strong, moral and fair to his employees and loved ones. He is the one who has to make the tough decisions and carry the weight of those with him. What he doesn't expect is a wife and Zee McKallister. She is no longer the girl he knew. She has grown and been shaped by the experiences of her childhood and the ills she faced alone. Colton's devotion to her is shown in the gestures that aren't in your face (diabetes management course anyone?). These two were always fated. It just took ailing ranches for their families to intervene and give fate a bit of a helping hand.

I always find Gemma's books easy to review. I could honestly write so much more about all the things I loved about this book. But the strongest feelings I have been left with are warmth and contentment. Colton is steady and dependable. And his life with Zee will be beautiful. Things Left Unsaid is a different feel than anything I've read by Gemma before and I am loving this new small town era. She writes it with love in her soul for these characters she creates.

And just as an aside, I have also listened to the audio of this book (yes it is that good that I have both read and listened to it already!) and Stella Hunter and Connor Crais are just delicious as Zee and Colton. Seriously, the audio is perfection!!!!

Loved it!!

The 7C’s Pigeon Creek is a small-town romance to fall in love with!

The story of Susanne ‘Zee’ McAllister and Colton Korhonen is sweet, charming, delightful and enchanting.
The town is surprised by the return home of Zee as she was accused of wrongdoings years ago. They are even more so intrigued by the relationship she has with heartthrob cowboy ranger Colton! The couple have a secret past but can they overcome their differences to accept their arranged marriage which has been organised to save the future of the ranch?
My heart melted more times than once with this storyline. It is so good! This a perfect slow-burn story and I’m looking forward to many more in the series.

🎧Audiobook Review 🎧

The narration from Connor Crais and Stella Hunter are utter perfection. I had goosebumps listening to this book. I fell in love with the characters all over again. This audio is one which I will listen to on repeat. ❤️🎧

I love, love, love Zee and Colt!!! Having teethed on bodice rippers, an arranged marriage is do right up my alley! Add in second chance, which is one of my favorite tropes, I was so sold on this story. The little bit we see of the Korhonen family in Cole’s book was the perfect intro to this new series.
My heart breaks for Zee. She just had a rough time growing up and the boy next door helped her through it until he couldn’t any more. Blamed for a terrible tragedy that wasn’t her fault, Zee leaves town as soon as she’s old enough. Finishing her growing up in NYC, she becomes a paralegal for Sinner’s Prez’s First Lady Rachel.
Her grandmother calls her home because she brokered a deal with the ranch next door requiring Zee’s hand in marriage. Our girl finally gets her man and gets to speak her truth. There’s some pretty startling revelations along the way, but Colt proves to be exactly what she needs and surprise! She’s exactly what Colt needs!
And now I’m all ready for Cody and Tee’s story! 💜

So many, good, great AMAZING things about this book. Love the relationship between Colt and Zee from children to adults. Always a source of comfort and safety for one another, until they weren't. Years later they are pressured into a marriage of convenience. These two characters are so in tune with one another, just destined to be together. There are a lot of characters in this story in both families, close friends and the townspeople. So many intertwining threads. Beautifully written! Can not wait to read this again!

Never a dull moment with the Korhonen and the McAllisters in Things Left Unsaid, the first book in the Pigeon Creek series! All that cameos made me grin the whole time. The story of Zee and Colt was such a whirlwind that hold me captive from the first page . All that slow burn and pinning, the angst, the tension and the suspense were piling up and escalated fast and pushed Zee and Colt to face their past in order to heal and grow. Add the age gap and the wrong timing at the beginning of their story and I was rooting for their happily ever after when they were forced into arranged marriage and their second chance. Susanne aka Zee is smart, sassy and beautiful inside and out and has a heart of gold . And the best group of friends. And if you get a glimpse of Colt and his ranch and his crazy family dynamics in Waiting Game , now you have a front row seat to all the events that unfold and put an end of an era and start a new one. And through it all Colt is the strong silent supporter of his family. Also he's so dreamy and swoon worthy that you'll want to move to Pigeon Creek. There's a lot of twists and turns and that ending was so good. And I see a lot of good things happening at Bar 7 . When you read Things Left Unsaid you'll know. Also I can't wait for Cody and Tee's story and all things left unwritten between them.

Thanks to the author and Give Me Books PR for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.

Things Left Unsaid
Colton Korhonen 7C ranch
Susanne (Zee) McAllister Bar 9 ranch

Welcome to Pigeon Creek! The small-town with heat, humour, honour, hidden secrets and so much more

Once again, this author has me hooked and made me fall in love with these characters. An incredible start to this new series set in Saskatchewan.

Susanne and Colton were secret childhood friends until 10 years ago, when a disastrous event broke them apart.

Susanne has since settled in New York enjoying her career as a paralegal, when she is summoned home by Juliette, her matriarchal grand mere and is informed that the ranch is in trouble of going broke.

Meanwhile Colton as the eldest Korhonen has taken over the running of the family ranch, though not without problems, in particular, ones his father Clyde has caused.

To save both ranches, The plan cooked up by Juliette and Clyde is an arranged marriage between Colt and Zee!!!

I adored how Colt was so very protective and would do anything for those he loved and also stepped up as the father-figure to his siblings.

Zee is such a personality: feisty, intelligent, caring, and strong and was the perfect 'partner-in-crime'.

When you add in emotive writing, unique setting, great storyline full of ups and downs a rogue MC, delightful triplets, gossiping biddies and swoony steamy moments plus cameos from beloved characters then what a top-notch way to start a series.

"Is Colton gentling me and I didn’t realize it? If so, I can’t help but think that it might be working."
Well Zee, all I can say that it worked for me too!!

This was a fantastic listening experience performed in dual narration by two of my favourite voice actors.

Stella Hunter and Connor Crais delivered in spades as Zee/Susanne and Colton. These two brought out their emotional repertoire to full effect, adding so much to this wonderful story.
• Connor aced the cowboy vibes and showcased the protectiveness and swoony sides of Colt.
• Stella's lively and sanguine delivery conveyed perfectly the lonely young Susanne through to the feisty, passionate Zee.

Things Left Unsaid was so good!! This book stoled my heart in seconds. I loved the characters so much. They were perfectly written and so easy to love. G. A. Mazurke did it again. This book was perfect. Full of emotions, love, hate, and also much guilt. The slow burn was amazing and the spice was perfect. I loved Tee and Callan so much. They were made the book 100 times better. Zee was amazing. I loved how G. A. Mazurke wrote her Diabetes. She didn't skip over the hard parts of this disease and I am so thankful for that. Colt was the perfect MMC. He was so thoughtful, sweet, and caring. I loved his kindness with others but adored his protectiveness of Zee. The ending was perfect and I cannot wait for more Pigeon Creek books!!

I finished reading things left unsaid very early this morning couldn’t put the book down until I have found out the ending. This is colts and zee story and I loved it from when they were younger they were each other safe place until one night change their relationship for ever. Until the matriarch. Of the family’s got together and change both their futures by doing an arranged marriage .Both the main characters are strong, sensible and loving people and even though they didn’t know it when they were younger, they were meant to be together

I loved both off there siblings and also Zee BFF Tee and the crazy but very loving friendship they have had from when they were young they have stood by each other through the good and bad times and I’ve had an amazing friendship

The story was beautifully written and I would recommend this book to be read as it is a beautiful story even if that is heartbreak and hurt in it it was beautiful

Wow! I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I don’t know what has taken Gemma so long to write a small town romance because she knocked this out of the park.
I absolutely love these characters. I found myself so invested in Zee and Colt. I loved their rich history and how she brilliantly wove their past and present together.
In true Gemma fashion, she built a world that had you so invested and on the edge of your seat as the suspense and mystery unfolded.
This is absolutely a must read!

What a wild ride! I couldn’t put this down because all I wanted were answers. I’m LOVING this new series! Plus that ending has me so so so excited for the next book! Also that ending also left me wanting answers on a few things so hopefully we get some closure in future books.

I loved the relationship between Zee & Tee. Tee was my favourite, she was such a character. She had me laughing like crazy! Zee was incredibly strong, I could not imagine being that hated in a small town. As a small town Saskatchewan girl myself, I related so much to this small town story. I wanted justice for Zee & all the secrets to be spilled.

Colt was so much more than I was expecting. I loved him, even though he deserved a head slap or two. His relationship with Zee & their past was so sweet but also heartbreaking. Watching them work through it all made for an amazing read.

His brother Callan stole my heart & I can’t wait for his story. He’s my favourite. Also those triplets were a kick & I can’t wait to see more of them. I loved this book!

“I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t speak to my future wife like that.”

Arranged marriage. Enough said. But really it is one of my absolute favorite tropes. There are so many interesting characters in this book, some of which I believe are a crossover from her other series (which I now need to read). But all of the characters are so intriguing and I am so excited for more books so we get more from them. I love that we got a slight suspense mixed into the plot to keep things interesting too. It was a perfect small town romance.

Stella Hunter and Connor Crais knocked this out of the park. I always know my ears will be happy when I see their names listed as narrators, and this time was no different.

Thank you Must Love Audio, East House Production, and G.A. Mazurke for an advanced listener copy.

“Wherever Chaos goes I follow.”

This follows Zee living her life and career in the city as a paralegal but is ordered home to the family ranch to marry the son of a rival family to strengthen ties. But what happens when it turns out to be the man who didn’t believe you when you were sixteen and the whole town thinks you’re behind the fire that became the talk of the town? Will the truth reveal itself?

I enjoyed this romantic suspense. I feel these two main characters were dealt a tough hand growing up finding comfort in each other’s company when they were younger but it came crashing down when blame was placed on Zee. But Colton stood up for Zee. Now as adults, Colt still cares for her and patiently waits until she comes around while Zee has always had a crush on Colt but battling how things left off. Throughout there are twists, turns, blackmail and figuring out the truth. I loved how Zee got along with Callan, Colt's brother. I think he is such a gentleman. I will say I wasn’t completely invested in Zee and Colt's relationship and the story felt a little long but overall I enjoyed and the narration by Stella and Connor was brilliant.

This crafty storyteller won me over with her mafia series, and I continued to fall in love with the New York Stars hockey series. If you're feeling the pinch on your pocketbook these days, you won’t get a better bang for your buck than with a Mazurke/Akeroyd romance. Her books are hefty but lacking lengthy descriptions and boring, drawn-out introspections, and I hung on every word.

This brand new Pigeon Creek series spins off from the New York Stars and features Cole Korhonen's brothers, beginning with Colten, the oldest. If you thought what we knew about the Korhonen patriarch was bad, you haven’t seen anything yet. Thanks to his machinations, Colton is about to get married.

Zee Alexander loves her life in NYC, sharing an apartment with her childhood best friend and putting small-town Pigeon Creek in the rear-view mirror. That is, until her grandmother summons her home and she finds out the McAllisters will lose the ranch that's been in their family for generations unless Zee marries someone from the family of their sworn enemies, the Korhonens.

Holy wow, you haven’t seen small-town pettiness and vindictiveness until you meet the people of Pigeon Creek. Colton is treated as royalty and Zee as a pariah, and there's drama on top of drama. Events from the past crowd the present, and danger is at every turn.

Of course I love Colton, with his growly protectiveness and need to right the wrongs of the past, but Zee is the one who really shines for me. She holds on to her positive outlook and love for her family despite so many challenges. All of these characters are colorful and unique, and together they feel like family. I can’t wait to see what comes next so I can spend more time in this amazing book world. This is already a series I wish would never end, and I promise you’ll love everything about this intoxicating, evocative, unforgettable romance.

I laughed, I cried, I avoided other responsibilities and stayed up way too late to keep reading it.

Thoughts💡
This is just a really good story, it’s filled with suspenseful elements and some mystery but things don’t get really explicit so it borders that line of small town cowboy romance and billionaire crime noir perfectly.
Colt is completely swoon worthy, when I was a girl I had an idea of what the “ideal man” would be like and its Colt. He’s this core of steel, secret nerd, steady handed bad ass that everyone can lean on.
While Zee is the role model material. She’s strong, determined and courageous enough to take a leap when needed. She lives with a pretty extreme case of type of diabetes but seems to navigate it well, and I loved the way Mazurke handled the topic. It was always a concern for the characters to jungle, but Zee didn’t let it define her.
Then you have all of the side characters. As with any Serena/Mazurke novel they were funny, brought their A game in a text thread, and kept the banter rolling.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series, but I do promise to wait patiently if I can just have another book from the writer. I freaking love her.

Wow , just wow. This author can write anything and I everything. I can't believe this is her first small town book , it was incredible. It was filled with plenty of angst , twists and so much chemistry. It's slow burn but I loved every yummy second. Colt has now joined my ever growing list of book Boyfriends / Husbands he is so swoon-worthy and extremely hot. This book took me on such a rollercoaster ride , I laughed , cried and everything in-between. I loved seeing some familiar faces and I can't wait for more in this series / universe. Phenomenal five-star read that I would definitely recommend.

Audio Review:

OMG this audiobook as just made my day. Stella and Connor are just perfection. They're the perfect power couple for Zee and Colt. They had my heart racing and swooning throughout. I honestly didn't think I could love this book anymore but boy was I wrong. Honestly this audiobook was just incredible if I could I'd give it more than the five huge stars I've already given it. You need to give it a listen it's incredible.

G.A. Mazurke has entered her small town romance era and I'm living for it!!

Colt and Zee were never meant to be friends, but found comfort in each other when they were younger.
That is until a devastating event took place and forced them apart.
Now, they are arranged to be married to save their families ranches.

This story has become one of my favourite slow burns. All the pining and tension was just *chef kiss*
Colt and Zee are perfect for each other, but they both need to work on healing from the past.

I love Gemma's writing.
I always get completely sucked into the world she's created and never want to leave.

I savoured every second I spent reading this story because she just has an incredible talent for writing characters that you can't help but want all the happiness for.

I listened to this book on audio and I loved this book so much I finished it TWICE, I love zee, T and parker along with Colt and his brothers. The chemistry between zee and colt was incredable.

I adoraded how he took care of her and checked her blood sugar like all the time, I loved the friendship between the girls and I hope that T and cody get together. It was really sweet to see them grow up together aswell as the bond they both shared with Loki.

I really liked how remorseful Colt was about him thinking zee set the fire and how he doesn't let anyone talk badly about her.

So yeah i loved this book and am so looking forward to what comes next in Pigeon Creek.

PS The triplets are HILARIOUS

Susanne "Zee" McAllister is summoned home to Pigeon Creek by her grand-mère but doesn’t know why…So is Colton Korhonen. Their families used to have a rivalry but now they both need Colton And Zee’s help. When meddling families make a pact to help each other’s farms run well using their children, can Zee and Colton find a way to come together with this union. There is a reason they haven’t seen each other is ten years. This is a second chance romance with some unkind meddling family members. The beginning of this talks about so many characters from other books and side characters that have a connection to Suzanne I was getting a little overload of info until I got into the actual story. The connection between the two main characters is heartwarming however, this is a long book and a very slow burn which sadly left me skipping some pages. There are also flashback chapters to show why their trust in each other changed all those years prior. If you’re a fan of super slow burn romances with many story layers, then you might enjoy this one. Told in first person and dual POV

5 🌟 small town romance with a big story!!!

Things Left Unsaid GA Mazurke (GAM) foray into small town romance. And she does it with a bang! If you have ever read her books you can probably relate, there is always so much going on and they are long. I can’t believe how fast I read this book! The story kept me engaged from the first chapter and I couldn’t put it down. The two main characters, Colt and Zee, have you cheering for them from the beginning. So much history and a slow burn romance. Yes, I said slow burn. And the family interactions and drama just adds to plot and story. Zee’s brothers, the triplets, the story they could have. I ❤️ this book. I 💕 these families and can’t wait for more!

Generational feuds. Decades of mistrust and lies. A fire, blackmail, throw in a marriage of convenience and all these things make for quite the entertaining small town story. Who knew a small town like Pigeon Creek in Saskatchewan Canada could be so dramatic.

The Mcallistars and Korhonens live side by side never working together, their feud (who knows why) keeping them apart until finances and water force a marriage of convenience to save both their ranches. Caught up in this contract are Colt Korhonen (Cole’s oldest brother from The Waiting Game) and Zee McAlistar (Susanne, from the Sinners series), caught in a plot hatched by the Grandmere McAlistar and Clyde Korhonen, that will unite the two feuding families, saving each others ranch and provide a the new heir.
What nobody knows is that Colt and Zee have a past relationship that was built as young kids, seeking support in each other in trying family times that suddenly went downhill. Could this marriage contract do more than unite these two feuding families but provide the opportunity to right wrongs?

GAM weaves an intricate plot, going back and forth in time to tell the story of Colt and Zee. The romance and love that builds as adults is based on wobbly base of lies and mistrust from their teenage years. Will the truth enable these two broken souls the HEA they deserve?

Holy Wow! The newest Small town romance has created a new series to love!

As Serena Akeroyd branches out into small town romance, writing as G.A. Mazurke, readers will be blown away by the transition. Her stories have always been detailed, gritty and drawn in her fans from start to finish. There has always been strong men, protective of the women they love, and women who were powerful in their own ways, be it upfront and obvious, or beneath the surface where only those closest to them could be allowed to see. Akeroyd/Mazurke’s ability to write characters with backbones of steel, and hearts of gold is still obvious from the first chapter of this new series, but now we see a bit of a softer side, with suspense in the form of small town secrets and two families with generations of drama to overcome.

Zee and Colten are forced together by circumstances out of their control, but they have a past between them that complicates things. Two people were never more meant to be together than this couple and though that is obvious to reader, the path to becoming a true couple is thorough and full of various obstacles. Ms. Mazurke has done a fantastic job of having this couple discover truths at a pace that isn’t so drawn out that readers get frustrated waiting for them to be revealed, while also not allowing the characters to immediately get over the past as if it was no big deal. She has given fans the perfect balance of overcoming tragedy and building a future between a couple with a complicated past full of generations of ill will combined with moments of friendship. I for one cannot wait for the next book in this small town series!

Things Left Unsaid- GA Mazurke
Narrated by Stella Hunter and Connor Crais

Narration 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧

I love when a book has a good story and plot to go along with the actual love story. This was an actual thriller on top of the romance that was going on and I ate it up! This book was fantastic. The story telling was so well done. The banter between all the siblings was just top tier and reminded me of my own large family.

After being run out of her small town and basically blamed for arson and killing a bunch of animals on the neighboring ranch, Susanne, Zee, is being called home to help save her own family ranch by marrying the eldest son of the neighbor ranch, Colt. Zee’s family ranch has a bunch of lakes and Colt’s family ranch has all the money but no water, so the only logical solution would be a merger by way of marriage of convenience with an offspring to inherit the whole property. There’s more to what happened back during the fire and there was a lot left unsaid that’s all coming out to the open now.

This was such a fantastic narration by Connor and Stella. There were parts written that I don’t think audio was taken into account when written and I think Connor and mostly Stella overcame those parts flawlessly.

I was very curious to see how this Friends-> Enemies-> Lovers plot would play out. It was well written and not drawn out or too quickly resolved, keeping the story more realistic. 🙅‍♀️ No one gets over a decade of hurt immediately. The miscommunication trope is my least favorite, so I was happy that both main characters were pretty straightforward with each other. The background characters drew me in, and I am looking forward to reading ---- & ----'s story! (Don't want to give anything away! 😉)

Things Left Unsaid has to be one of the best reads this year. It’s definitely top 5 of my faves.

Susanne “Zee” and Colton “colt” story was absolutely breathtaking. Two families that hate one another have to come together to save their beloved ranch. When no one know they’ve know each other when Zee was 16 and Colt was 22. Colt was always there for Zee especially when tragedy struck. But when the unthinkable happens everything changes. Ten year later they are to be married thanks to her grandmother and his father. They get to know one another as adults. Secrets are learned and truths are revealed. Everything changes when they both trust one another. It’s a beautiful things when two families come together when they have one common enemy.

This story had it all, heartache, loss, mystery, friendship and so much more. I enjoyed this story so much. The slow burn was everything and more. 💜
