Another great book from Sarah Blue. I really liked how she took her time to develop each character on their own first. It really helped set their dynamic and understand the struggles they all go through. It was a good story, the characters were likeable, and a great balance of angst and fluff.
My only issue was with the pacing. The first half felt a bit long but the second half felt way too rushed. The author did a great job creating depth to these characters but no time to explore them more than at surface level. This also hindered their emotional connection for me. It was so based on automatic chemistry that there was not much growth seen emotionally.
I read this book because I’ll read anything Sarah Blue writes but I’m definitely going to check out the rest of the authors’ books in this series.

Hello, mafia meets omegaverse? Am I dreaming?
Nope, Sarah Blue is just making my dreams come true, one smutty reverse harem story at a time.
Following the death of her mafia boss father, Elena overhears her brother's plan to sell her off to another pack. Terrified of being forced into a pack and having no say, she runs off to a Vegas club where omegas are the talent and rich alphas and betas are the paying clientele. There, she meets a delicious smelling alpha and her world is turned upside down.
This was a quick paced, smut forward story, with a dash of external conflict to the plot. I do wish some scenes were more explosive (I'm looking at you, first time banging with each pack member) and the overall book is more shallow than I would've liked, but still a fun time! There's a couple laugh out loud moments and some truly steamy scenes. It's an uncomplicated, easy delightful read for sure!

This is your classic light mafia romance but make it Omegaverse with hot Alphas and Betas and one strong Omega.
You’ll get all the knotting, nesting, heat, slick in this one.
And effortless read. Super enjoyable. Light mafia politics. Great spice!
Elena is a true omega but also sassy and demands her wants and needs. I loved her! She doesn’t want to be sold off to any pack, she wants the choice to be hers.

4.5⭐️ another sarah blue hit😩
i absolutely adore anything she writes and this is just another one of her books that has me obsessed😭
while we deal with wild and crazy conflicts, the book was just so fun! the mmc’s were such sweeties (we had to break down one’s walls but that’s another story) and our fmc was so sassy and really gave her guys a run for their money (literally)
i’m so excited to get to the rest of the books in this series!
side note, i have my eyes on two other characters that i need books for immediately!!

There were a lot of things I loved about this and then a couple things that I didn't really care for. I think my favorite thing was the men themselves. They all had their own distinct personality and didn't feel like carbon copies. Every guy contributed something different to the story and all feel really important.
Elena herself was just okay for me. She had her moments where I thought she was really funny but overall she was alright. My biggest issue with the book is that it gets reeeeeeally repetitive in some places. It's told to us over and over that Elena doesn't want a forced marriage, doesn't want to pop out babies, etc. It happens so much in the beginning that it's really distracting. Thankfully that resolves itself and stops happening around 20% in.
The plotline was incredibly engaging. Once I started reading it I had a really hard time stopping because I really just needed to know what was going to happen next. I love mafia romance, and I love omegaverse, so this was really the best of both 😍

Elena was so sassy and bada$$. I just loved her and her pack. ❤️

Queen of Hearts is one of four Omegaverse stories in the High Rollers series written by other authors and can be read as standalone book.
This particular story revolves around an Omega who’s the daughter of an Italian mafia don. The day of her father’s funeral and her brother takes over the organization, she finds out that she’s been in a marriage contract with the Irish mäfîä. She lives in Vegas and decides to work as an Omega in an exclusive high-end Omega club, the High Rollers. On her first night on the floor she meets an Alpha she is instantly attracted to. Unbeknownst to her, he is part of the pack she is contracted to marry - and he’s her scent match. When she finds out that he’s part of the Irish mäfîä (after all of the members of the pack integrates themselves in her life), they’ve kîddnäppëd her - only to keep her safe from her brother who is now ūnhîngëd. This leads into a lot of drama with a side of suspense, brooding, and a surprise heat.
While I liked the storyline, I don’t know if I can necessarily say I loved it and, honestly, I can’t seem to put my finger on it. Sarah Blue is a great writer and her omegaverse stories are always interesting and great.
Please don’t let my opinion change your mind about reading this book. Just because I didn’t love this book, doesn’t mean it’s not worth reading. You may enjoy it more than I did.

OKAY MISS SARAH!!!!!This book was everything! ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!!!! I am completly obsessed! I love all these characters and the story so much!!! I was mad that adulting and responsibilities got in the way of me reading this book! I can't recommend this enough! It's one of my favorites from Sarah and now part of my top 5 all time favorite omegaverse i've read so far!!!

i am so frustrated bc all the highlights i had on my kindle from before Elena’s heat scene got erased somehow 😤 but anyways i will read any omegaverse by Sarah Blue, and the fact it’s not only a mafia romance but irish mafia, yes

I like this author so I thought I would like this story…I was wrong. The pacing was off for me. The story really takes a long time to get anywhere. She runs away to a brothel to be bought by the first man she meets who leaves here there for long periods to sit around bored. And then she’s kidnapped and locked in a room where she goes a little crazy. Then she forgives everyone and has her heat with them. Then bad guys come and are all killed. And that’s it.
A small detail that bothered me, was after they took her from the brothel, they never went back for her stuff. Nothing? These were the two bags that she cared enough about to sneak out of her brother’s mansion when she ran away, and she’s never even asking about getting them back? And she suddenly becomes super materialistic and wants all the designer stuff? I honestly did not enjoy the FMC.

Elena Amante is an unbonded Omega and the daughter of the head of the Italian mafia on the West Coast. However, we start the book learning about his sudden death, and Elena, who has always been sheltered somehow by him, sees herself having to run away because her brother – and now the new Don – is trading her off for a pack she hasn't chosen.
In this context, Elena ends up in the exclusive Omega club, the High Roller. With some semblance of freedom, she meets Cillian, an Alpha with the most delicious smell. And with him comes Finn (his twin brother), Declan, and... Lórcan – who she may have known as Logan. And this pack is nothing more than the pack that, unbeknownst to her, she was already promised 4 years ago.
I gotta be honest, I wasn't so hyped up for this book before I read it because one of its main premises is the mafia romance, and that's not really my thing anymore. But I love Sarah and her books, so I went into it with an open heart, and Elena and her guys completely captured me. It reminded me why books are my haven. I told her already, but I'd like to thank Sarah publicly for writing books that can cheer me up when need it the most ❤️
I loved seeing Sarah venturing further into this darker side of the Omegaverse, even darker than in Nobody's Darlin'. I love the Heat Haven series, it was my introduction to the genre, and this cute side of the Omegaverse. But it's amazing how Sarah balanced the dark elements very well with the tenderness between the members of the pack-to-be. And talking about the pack, I loved that they weren't yet a consolidated pack and that they had to work for it and, especially, Elena's role in bringing them together.
Elena has definitely become one of my favorite Sarah's FMCs. She might have been sheltered, but she was no fool. She knew what she wanted and she went for it. And I loved the most that she really made them grovel, as they should! And she's so level-headed because each of them had to make it up to her in different ways since they wronged her in differently.
As for the guys, Sarah wasn't joking when she said they're assholes. I was afraid for a minute I wouldn't like them, glad to be proven wrong once again. Again, Sarah did an incredible job building these characters, because they are totally different from each other, especially the twins. They have their own personalities and, as I said before, their relationship was not very good. I find it interesting in a story, because it makes it more complex and, in this case, it contributed to their individual growth. The individual relationships between them and Elena were also well explored, with each of them being at different stages of their relationship with her when they finally started working toward becoming a pack.
The water gun scene had me laughing wholeheartedly — and god, I need that. I saw the memes out there, but I wasn't expecting an actual water gun and I lost it. Declan is the fucking best. Okay, I'm not playing favorites, but at the moment he totally was. For real, I love them equally. Each one of them brings something different to the table and complements the pack perfectly.
I loved reading Queen of Hearts and I'd love to read more of them in the future – I'd be happy with a bonus scene! After that epilogue, I need to see Finn as a dad so much!

I really liked that Sarah Blue included a Beta in this pack, Declan (MMC) played just as important a role as the Alphas and I really liked the efforts Elena took to ensure he never felt less than the others. Declan was a sweetheart and my favourite pack member.

Queen of Hearts is a mafia omegaverse novel that is set in the shared High Roller Omegas world. This is the second book in the series that I have read, and I really enjoyed both of them. Since this is a mafia romance there are some dark elements and the men are definitely morally grey, but I wouldn’t consider it a dark romance. Elena’s pack definitely screws up, and she makes them pay for it, but overall it is a sweet romance and there is definitely a HEA.
Elena is an omega, and her pack consists of two alphas who are her scent matches (twins Cillian and Finn), another alpha (Lorcan), and a beta (Declan). Finn is not interested in having an omega join the pack, and initially treats Elena like crap, while the other three men are obsessed with her from the start and don’t know how to deal with pack dynamics to be able to show her that. She has spent her whole life in a gilded cage as the daughter of the Italian mob leader in Vegas, and after his death she realizes she has nothing left and no autonomy. All she wants is to be recognized as an individual and not just an omega or someone’s property.
I like that there was obvious character growth in this book, and each member of the pack has a distinct personality. I was never confused about whose POV I was reading. Finn has the most growth over the course of this story, and I enjoyed watching him come to terms with everything that was happening and let Elena in. Elena has to deal with a lot of trauma, but she is a badass and in the darkest moments is able to push through and come out the other side stronger.

I had been wanting to read a mafia inspired book for May and this one was absolutely perfect for it!!
Elena and her men were perfection! Fin was our oh so grumpy, hates everyone but her, alpha! Cillian is our glorious cinnamon roll alpha! Declan our beta is such a sweetheart and literally takes care of everyone! And Lorcan our last alpha is the absolute protector of the pack! Put them all together and it is just so freaking HAWT!
Elena is such a strong FMC! I love how she refused to back down from anything challenging her but also was just such the typical omega who loved to be taken care of!

Elena's comfy life as a mafia princess is over with her father's sudden death, her brother having very different plans for what a omega could do for the family, making Elena run away. Finding work at the High Roller gives her the independence and freedom she wants, but the pack she keets there is not a simple match. Bringing up family secrets and family secrets that makes an already difficult situation worse.
It was a good read, lots of mafia drama, bully-vibes from one alpha, forbidden/second chance-vibes from another, a more dom/sub relationship and a loyal beta.

It’s no secret I love Sarah Blue and her writing and this book is no different.
We have body guards, forced proximity, mafia, Irish alphas 🫠, TWINS and the list goes on.
It’s dark, it’s suspenseful, it’s everything I love in Omegaverse with morally questionable alpha and a beta with BDE.
Elena is feisty and hard headed. She knows what she wants and she demands to be treated like the omega she is. Ugh, I love her so much it hurts.

Absolutely loved Queen of Hearts!
I love mafia fics & omegaverse storyline, so this was a delight! These Irish alphas and beta had me *swooning*
This was full of angst and drama, and was a slight slow burn. It was so good, though, and the spice was hot!
Elena was so spicy & bold - and I loved that she didn't let the guys off so easily for what they did. I loved the heavier mafia vibes in this book too.

⭐️3. Dnf at 60%. Interesting story but the writing was not great. Nonetheless I did enjoy it for quite some time. I wasn’t able to feel a connection to the main characters, they fell a bit flat. Mainly the story was just very confusing at times because things didn’t get an explanation. The fmc is supposedly the daughter of a mob boss but she is weak af. Her actions are annoying and she has no spine. The mmc’s talk about how ‘incredible’ she is but it wasn’t shown to us.
In one scene the fmc gets kidnapped by the mmc’s and one of them treats her a little bit less like the princess she thinks she is. Then she gets invited to dine with the mmc’s and what does she do? She walks down the stairs naked saying “This is what you wanted from an omega right?”. Girl.. don’t you have any shame???!?

Sarah Blue for the most part has been a very reliable author, each new title she comes out with has been a hit with me. This was the perfect mix of mob and ABO. Elena was such a great heroine and I find that Blue’s character development is what really sets her apart from others in the genre. She just knows how to make characters feel individual.

Enjoyable, but not among my favorite books from this author. I’m intrigued by the shared world and excited to read the other books. The ending of this one was satisfying but the middle was probably over dramatic imo. I’m not sure that I really liked any of the mmc’s or the fmc for most of the book, but they grew on me by the end.

I really love Sarah Blue, she’s a really great author, but this one was a little too dark for me. I’m a mood reader, so it was not a right time for me to read this one, but I was still happy to be able to receive the ARCs for this entire series.
