This is a book that I read.

Was it life-changing? Nope. I selected it from Kindle Unlimited because I’m a dedicated X-Phile and enjoyed Duchovny’s fiction novels. This was not the same…nor should it have been. This isn’t fiction, and doesn’t claim to be. I knew it would be more matter-of-fact, but this was like reading a textbook or instruction manual.

Duchovny’s fiction, which I cannot recommend enough, is full of interesting imagery and dry wit. This book, while factual, was just dry. The information it contained is relevant and truthful, but a) repeatedly itself so many times I was sure I’d gone back a page instead of forward, and b) just not well-organized.
