" WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD! GO NO FURTHER IF YOU ARE NOT UP TO THIS POINT IN SERIES... unless you like reading ahead... because I love it!!!
btw it seems long but read it any way please!!?!!

Any way, who, here we are right, one book away from finishing the second saga of the Warriors series. Well we rejoin the new narrators of this saga. As you know, in the last saga Firestar was the narrator 100% of the time. Well in this saga the view switches between Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight, and occasionally her sister Leafpool the medicine cat. The clans have just started to settle into their new lakeside homes, and clan rivalry is starting to build up a wall between the five cats who went on the journey to discover the new warriors camp grounds. After their forest was destroyed by the twolegs, the clans where forced to journey back with the group. They relied on one another during this time, and for a while, It seemed like they were just one big clan. Now that they have arrived, they are settling back into the old mistrust between rival clans. Brambleclaw is not bothered by this at all, and continues as if they never left their old forest. But Squirrelflight is very bothered by the hostility her past friends now show towards each other and to her. While all of this was happening, the clans where busily trying to rebuild this new land to fit their needs. For instance, finding a new gathering place. They chose a little island close to the shore of the lake. Also, Leafpool stumbles upon a new place to Share tongues with Starclan. The Moonstone is now the Moonpool. Now time for the more intricate story. And just for you girls it's a love story. *AWWWWWW* Brambleclaw is in love with Squirrelflight (FYI she and leafpool are Firestar and Sandstorm's only kits) and she with him. But a stupid fight breaks out because of Hawkfrost, Brambleclaw's half brother. (FYI Their father was Tigerclaw DUN...DUN...DUN!!!) (FYI again, Hawkfrost lives in Riverclan because his mother was a rough who left her kits with them, so Hawkfrost is half rough and half Thunderclan...well techniquly all rough because Tigerclaw was exiled when he tried to take over Thunderclan with murder. Then he was killed by the bloodclan leader who... I'm going to shut up now.) She has strange feelings about him (Hawkfrost, if you forgot...yeah) and tries to tell Brambleclaw, but he thinks she only mistrusts him because Hawfrost's father was an exile, which would mean she could say the same about him. Squirrelflight then began to suspect that brambleclaw had more loyalty to his half brother then to Thunderclan. When she told him so (she is pretty direct isn't she?) They had an enormous argument about his fathers past, and how that has nothing to do with it, and that she knows Brambleclaw isn't like that, and him not believing her (sorry its been a long while since I’ve had the chance to sit down with this book, my memory is a little vague.) The result, Brambleclaw chasing her away (not literally) right into the paws of Ashfur, a secret onlooker of Swirrelflight's. (OOOOOOOOHHHHH) and now they hardly even glance at each other. Brambleclaw yearns to be at her side again, but puts up a tough front, not letting it show. Squirrelfight, however, lets her emotions show. She is still outraged inside and out.(And it doesn't say anything, but I think that she's trying to make him jealous with Ashfur, and it is working)
Well that's as far as I’ve gotten so far, and this supposed to be a book "review" isn't it maybe I should have told you my opinion, not the plot its self. Well we certainly "re-viewed" the whole plot didn't we? Well, my opinion of this book/whole series is... MUST READ ALL OF THEM IN ONE NIGHT!!! NO PUTTING IT DOWN UNLESS YOU'VE BEEN IN YOUR ROOM READING FOR A WEEK AND YOUR MOM HAS TO PRY THE BOOK OUT OF YOUR HANDS TO MAKE YOU TAKE A SHOWER! School cut down on my reading time, that’s the only reason I put it down. HOLY!!!!!! I had no idea how long this was *sweatdrop* This better get a good grade... this does count for the letter right? it better....

Basic synopsis: Unexpected rivalries arise against Thunderclan and a forbidden love threatens to rip the seems from Thunderclan's insides. An ominous promise foretells the death of a young cat and with looming danger of claws and teeth, how can the clans survive in this unknown place?

This book follows Squirrelflight and Leafpool, each female cat dealing with her own secret issues. The love hinted between Leafpool and Crowfeather in the last book is expanded and the reader should expect the unexpected while reading this book. Squirrelflight on the other hand develops a stronger relationship with Ashfur as Brambleclaw continues to lose favor in her sight. Thunderclan's least favorite clans ask for their help while the alliance they seemed to have with the other clan seems to shatter into pieces.

It's hard to talk about this book without giving anything important away about the plot. This entire book is plot driven unlike several of the prior books so blogging about it is much harder than it has been. If you've been following along with the series, you won't want to miss this one.

Technically 3.5 stars, but I refuse to give four because the relationships were all so forced.

Much better than the previous few. This one had good pace and some really good ideas such as the difficulty with the clans helping one another. The kitty romance would have worked better had I believed either of these characters really cared about each other beyond the fact that the authors told me so. I'm also disappointed to be denied Brambleclaw's perspective, but I suspect that will be the next book. I want more scenes with the Dark Forest. Oh yes, the end actually did upset me because I really love that character. One more thing of note, while Leafpool has excuse to distrust Brambleclaw, Squirreflight's attitude seemed really forced and only done for sake of kitty love triangle. Ugh.

This book was AMAZING! I loved all of the action and cliffhangers at the end of each chapter. But Cinderpelt was one of my favorite characters, why did she have to get killed by a badger? And she was so young, she had a long life ahead of her. But I'm glad Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw are finally starting to get along. I can't wait to see what's in the next and final book in The New Prophecy.

Well, this was a bit different than the previous books. A bit darker, okay, but more blood and violence and a bit of the usual relationship drama between Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight. I was rooting for Leafpool and Crawfeather, hoping this would get a happy ending. We'll see about that. Also, a couple of the cats are getting really insecure about themselves. I'm wondering on how this will go.
The ending felt abrupt and open. Maybe a new storyline will be added to that in the next book?

*sigh* I don't know what's up with the fifth books of Warriors, I gave A Dangerous Path two stars as well because it felt so out of place for me.

In Twilight, it feels like nothing is going forward at all and no cat has character development. Both the MCs, Squirrelflight and Leafpool, were quite annoying and nothing else.
Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw have the same argument as in the last two books but at least in the end, . Squirrelflight annoyed me so much I wanted to scream at some points because she never wanted to do what Brambleclaw said, even he was reasonable.
The conflict of Leafpool being in love and a medicine cat was interesting at the beginning, but later she only annoyed me as well. She wasn't even trying to hide it. The whole Leafpool x Crowfeather arc is generally so weird: .
Generally, the strength of the Warriors series is not romance. I never understood the whole Firestar x Spottedleaf thing, maybe Silverstream x Graystripe were quite nice. We literally have a love triangle and insta love here and I don't know what to think about it.
Most of the side characters were also not likable at all in Twilight. Why was Brambleclaw so mean to Daisy's kittens? Onestar is also suddenly really mean when he was friends with Firestar two books before. The WindClan is angry about the ThunderClan helping them just like in all the other books. Mothwing is randomly mean to the StarClan and the sick kittens as well: . Cloudtail and Brightheart also have a stupid beef which could be resolved if they just talked - all these conflicts felt kinda artificial to me.

There were a few enjoyable things though. Mothwing brings an interesting perspective on the StarClan and belief in general, but she was quite rude about it. The concept of a cat hell sounds quite interesting as well but I'm wondering . Sorreltail and Brackenfur are quite cute but . The battle at the end was quite nice I guess, and I got goosebumps when the WindClan arrived and obviously .

I don't remember anything about Sunset, so let's see see how The New Prophecy ends.

Warriors - The New Prophecy
➳ Midnight: ★★★
➳ Moonrise: ★★★★
Dawn: ★★★★★
Starlight: ★★★★
➳ Twilight: ★★
Sunset: ★★.5

Before there is peace, blood will spill blood...

New territory brings new troubles for the fierce cats of the warrior Clans, who are still uncovering the secrets of their new home around the lake. Dangers they have never faced before are lurking in the twilight shadows, and former allies are acting strangely hostile.

As divisions between the Clans grow deeper, Firestar's daughters face troubling decisions. One is torn between loyalty to her calling and forbidden love, while the other struggles with her best friend's betrayal and the surprising perils of the forest. The choices they make now could affect ThunderClan for generations to come . . . and with an unexpected enemy preparing to attack, their courage and strength will be needed more than ever if the Clan is to survive.

Despite the lack of action, I enjoyed this one a lot more than the fourth book! There was a lot of focus on character development, and I really felt for the struggles that all the cats were going through. Leafpaw most of all. Her feelings of abandonment from her Clan - feeling replaced by Brightheart, conflict with her sister, and guilt over loving Crowfeather - were completely relatable. She felt unwanted, like all her friends and family had turned their backs on her.

The continuing conflict between Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight killed me, too. I was hoping their issues would be resolved soon, but the chasm only grew :( I'm hoping it's resolved in the final book of the series! I also don't like where Brambleclaw's character is going - he was such a strong, honorable cat in the beginning of the series; to see him succumbing to ambition like his father is so hard. I hope he sees sense soon as well!

These books never fails me! They have something so special that I every single time can’t stop reading.

So the cats get their new home, finally! And can start their new life. It happens a lot and plot twists are coming from both left and right! You never get bored since there always is something exciting happening. There is also a clear path trough all the books, you connect stuff with each other and get a really good perspective.

What I also love with these books is how you get to read in two different povs, the two sisters with their special connection. The description of the nature and all the feelings is so good that you almost can see everything in front of you!

Ok, this book was great, but very problematic for no reason. The battle scene was kind of scattered and the don't even get ne started on the CrowxLeaf thing. Why is half the book Squirrelflight gazing at Brambleclaw's ~B R O A D~ mmmmmm shoulders and thinking, "oh hot dang, i dont like brambleclaw. i like ashfur. but i dont, i like brambleclaw. but he hates me for NO REASON *scoff its like he doesnt even remember our JOURNEY UGH!" I don't know man but uh, rip.

My goodness, why are they so cruel with freely killing our favorite cats?

I just love warrior cats. That’s all. There was some really solid relationship conflict in the book that added really nice elements to the story. Woohoo.

I cried. Happy and sad tears. That’s how you know it’s good.

But also wtf Leafpool? StarClan sends you messages for a reason. Heckin share them with your clan. That’s the whole point. COMMUNICATION. These cats seem to all thing that not only they can do it alone, but that they have to. Silly kitty.

This series is just amazing and I love it so much. I really like how Midnight was called a "cat-fried" as an insult. I would be hated by badgers. I am very excited to read the next one!

It was absolutely amazing. for me one of the best books in T.N.P (although I still have to read the last one) I'm actually kind of sad that Leafpool wont be seeing Crowfeather any more, they were so close but then Cinderpelt dies and Leafpool realizes she has to stay.

HI I love this book.
Disclaimer: I am FULL of unpopular opinions about Warrior Cats, especially The New Prophecy.

I love character drama and I found myself smiling like the entire time I was reading. I read it in school; sitting in the hallway with my headphones in, it was really nice. My only gripe is Chapter 20, I wrote more on it here. Basically, I don't really like how Crowfeather & Leafpool running away was handled. Like I do agree they should've come back (obviously) but I just think it's really rushed. Also that story in itself is so sad... The last chapter, the badger attack was really hard for me to read because everyone's just suffering and everything's being destroyed.

Random tidbits:
- Birchkit/paw is cute and it's funny how he's just an innocent victim in Squirrelflight & Brambleclaw's fights lol
- I kinda? like Crowfeather more in Starlight because I like his angst/whatever.
But I've actually read this book many times that I'm kind of used to the scenes in Twilight
- Sootfur's death is actually worse than Cinderpelt's imo because it's actually, the badgers break both of his back legs and then he's trying to climb up a ledge, only to fall back down. Then he gets slashed again and dies.

Warriors-Twilight, is my favorite book ever written! It’s filled with action, conflict, and mystery… Squirrelflight is at war with herself trying to decide- Brambleclaw, or Ashfur? Her sister, Leafpool, a medicine cat, is in love with Crowfeather, a Windclan warrior. (Medicine cats aren’t supposed to fall in love, especially with cats from other clans!) Thunderclan is beginning to recover from their long journey, and Sorreltail will be the first queen to use the new nursery!

As I said before, Twilight is my favorite book. I remember savoring every page of it I read and taking longer than usual to read it. (I can usually read a warriors book in a day or two if I read quickly) I think Leafpool should’ve spent more time with Crowfeather than she did or Erin could have let us read one of their meetings from her perspective, other than having Squirrelflight stalk her. Otherwise, this book is fabulous!! I’m going to end up reading this over, and over, and over! I think Squirrelflight is my favorite character in this book, because she is able to defend herself from other cats’ accusations and insults, (usually with a fiery retort) she is loyal to her clan, and she has an interesting personality. I like all of the characters, I just find Squirrelflight the most entertaining out of all of them.

The theme of this book is to follow your heart. Spottedleaf told Leafpool to follow her heart and make the decision she wanted about Crowfeather. “No cat can make this choice for you,” Spottedleaf replied, letting the tip of her tail brush against Leafpool’s shoulder. “Deep inside, you know what is right, and you must follow your heart.” Leafpool had run from Cinderpelt, who had accused her of treachery for loving Crowfeather, and had come to the Moonpool, and was met by Spottedleaf, who gave her that message. When Leafpool returns to Thunderclan to save her clanmates, who are in danger Crowfeather tells her that he knew she loved him, but not enough to give everything up for him. This book was sad, yet amazing.

I wasn't very fond of the beginning, I did enjoy Leafpool going to RiverClan to help with their sickness, I really enjoy interactions between Mothwing and Leafpool, it's great to see their viewpoints clash but they still remain friends. The blossoming relationship between Crowfeather and Leafpool was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

I'm kinda on the fence about the Squirrelflight, Brambleclaw and Ashfur love triangle because I feel like Squirrelflight is just using Ashfur as a replacement Brambleclaw and when Squirrelflight is around Ashfur it seems like the writers kinda forgot about her character. Whenever Squirrelflight was with Brambleclaw she'd always bite his head off for trying to 'protect' her, it seems with Ashfur the writers kinda forgot about that till the very end and then were like "OH yeah, she's meant to be fiesty and strong-willed".

I was happy when Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight FINALLY started getting along. I very much enjoyed the rising tensions between clans even though so far it hasn't lead up to anything.

Last but not least the ending was very sad, it tore me apart to see Cinderpelt had died, it also tore me apart when Leafpool realised her and Crowfeather could never be together. Broken hearts and tears everywhere!
