What I Liked:
I gave Seeker four stars but in hindsight, it was probably more of a three-star read. Traveler was better, in my opinion. If you had issues with Seeker, it's more than likely that you will enjoy Traveler more. This book seemed to make more sense! Sequels are often hit or miss in that aspect, so I'm glad Traveler was more of a "hit" overall.
Shinobu and Quin are back in Hong Kong, with Shinobu slowly healing. They're being hunted by strange boys who move like Seekers but aren't Seekers. The boys are after the athame that the Young Dread gave Quin. But why? As Quin and Shinobu discover more from Catherine's journal, they begin to understand what is at play, what is at stake, and how history is becoming real again.
One of the things that really stuck out to me was how many perspectives there were in this book. The whole book is written in third person POV, but it's not a dual POV book. We get Quin, Shinobu, Job, Maud (the Young Dread), but also some news perspectives - one of the boys hunting Quin and Shinobu, as well as a chapters that delve into the past, from the perspective of Catherine, John's mother. At first I was like, no way, this is too many! Quin, Shinobu, and John were enough! But as I was reading, the story really started to make sense with so many perspectives. I don't think the story would have flowed as well as it did without all of those perspectives.
I also really liked the historical chapters, which featured Catherine, approximately eighteen years before. Quin and Shinobu have been going through her journal, trying to figure out why Seekers are hunted. Year ago, Catherine was investigating the same thing, and so we get to experience her life eighteen years ago, before John was ever a thought in her mind. Usually I skip chapters that have "blasts from the past", but I loved reading about Catherine, and the information is so relevant and so necessary to understand the bigger picture.
I felt like I connected very strongly with Quin, Shinobu, John, and even the Young Dread. Quin and Shinobu are easy because they're our classic protagonist pair. John was an antagonist in Seeker, but he has a completely different role in this book, and I like him more. We get more insight on Maud (the Young Dread), and I like her a lot.
The story gets a lot more complex, from Seeker to Traveler. The Middle Dread is dead, but as it would turn out, he has an army of young boys who are still waiting for him to come back, and they will stop at nothing to get the athame from Quin. These boys are called Watchers, and they are very strange. One of them, Nott, is very important in the story.
I also found the world-building to be more striking in this book, the combination of fantasy and science. At times, this book reminded me of Sherry Thomas's Elemental trilogy (although NO ONE will ever compare to Titus!). Dayton has set up and manipulated a fascinating world! And the settings are very vivid and authentic.
I'll talk about the romance now - I am SO pleased to say that there is no love triangle in this book. There really wasn't one in Seeker, not quite, though in book one, John and Shinobu are both presented as potential love interests. But in this book, it's all Shinobu, and it's almost impossible for John to make an appearance as a love interest. I like how defined and definite Shinobu and Quin's relationship feels. It was strong in book one, but it is very solid in this book. Their relationship takes some turns that I really liked!
The ending is something that I mostly expected, but the very last lines were pretty shocking. Dayton did an excellent job of laying clues and foreshadowing for readers to kind of figure out what the ending will entail, but I still found the ending shocking. Cliffhanger indeed! I'll be tucking in for the long wait to Disruptor.
What I Did Not Like:
The ending is soooo cliffhanger-y! I had a feeling about most of the ending but I still want to grab everyone and hug them close.
Also, I will say that, while the beginning starts very excitingly. the middle of the book does drag a bit. Not enough for me to want to put the book down though. But this book is rather long - about 450 pages - and at times, it definitely felt that way.
Would I Recommend It:
If you liked Seeker, or even if you did not, I'd recommend you read this book. I'm not sure about those who haven't read Seeker - maybe hold off? It's a great science fiction and fantasy series, and now that the romance is squared away (literally from the start of Traveler, it's all Shinobu and Quin!), I am even more pleased with the series.

3.5 stars -> rounded up to 4 stars. Definitely worth reading, if you read Seeker (regardless of if you liked it or not). I can't wait to read Disruptor!

This sequel was balls-to-the-wall as explosive and dynamic as the first book. There's a lot more introspection into Cathryn's (sp? I listened to the audio) motivations and what led up to her scheming for revenge. And what led to the Seekers becoming the murderers that they are now, including the Middle Dred's master plan. Some of the characters have redeemed themselves in my eyes, while others continue to make one bad decision after another. Not only do you get a more in-depth look at the characters, but you're also thrown right into the middle of the action and it. Never. Stops.
I liked this book slightly less than its predecessor, but that's likely to do with how some of the characters are behaving and has little to do with the actual writing. Also, the narrator is fabulous for this audiobook. I re-read Seeker via audio last year and I knew that was the way to go with this sequel. And probably the next book, too. :)

Traveler is the sequel to the Seeker, which I read last year. I have to be completely honest with you guys, I have high expectations towards this book simply because I loved the book one.

1.) the writing style was a bit okay for me. Sometimes, I do loved it, but sometimes, more like always, I do hated it because it seems a bit dull.
.
2.) I liked how the romance between Shinobu and Quin was stable. No obstacles relating to Quin's previous love interest, John.
.
3.) this book sure was a roller coaster ride. You wanna know why? Its all because it posses a lot of third person POV. In the first book, we only got the chance to explore the minds' of the golden trio, John, Quin and Shinobu, himself. Meanwhile, in the sequel, the author introduces us a new character named Nott which also had a solo third person POV and later on, gave John's mother, Catherine a POV. So yes, you read it right, we have six POV here written in third person in total. They are Nott, Maud (the young dread), John, Shinobu, Quin and Catherine.

4.) I liked how this book was planned. You can tell throughout the middle of the book that it was well studied and planed. You can see no flaws regarding to the plot.

5.) And like I mentioned above, John's famous mother, Catherine was given a POV that was set in 19 years before the present. The POVs gave me an insight on what was Catherine like and on how her feelings for Archie bloomed. The thing that I realize in this book was that, BRIAC WAS A LIVING SATAN. Plus, he was a potential rapist of Catherine.

Traveler was a great book to read but not that ~good~. I prefer the book one than this. And yes, I will patiently wait for the third book, Disruptor that will release in the year 2017.

One of the few times I'm doing an abbreviated review because it makes sense for how much time I spent on this audiobook. Much stronger than the first book, but still quite many flaws. I am surprised by how I'm anticipating the next book in this series. Better focus on worldbuilding in this book, though some descriptions were really repetitious/lacking in term of the portrayal of certain cultures (and some instances were problematic). Characterization varies. Shinobu's role doesn't really have as much distinction as the previous book because he's focused more on his relationship with Quin (or injured), though I liked the parallel with his struggles of power to his former drug addiction. Quin is still a rounded character, but oddly enough, she wasn't the standout character to me in this book. I liked her, and she has some decent action scenes and moments in the book. John's role/struggle is a little more clarified, though he's still a bit odd in presentation. Catherine was by far the strongest character with motivations and painful losses - to me at least. (And her role clarified John's struggles and history much more).
I thought the narrator was a decent fit, but I'm surprised by how inconsistent the pronunciation of Japanese words were. Sometimes she was right on point with the mention of names, but other times, it was like it reverted back to the incorrect word. I wasn't sure why this was and I'll admit I kept mentally correcting it as I listened to the audio (though unfortunately, I don't have the physical book to compare some of the spellings of names - and I should note I speak Japanese a little. Writing the language is a different story, unfortunately, but I'm working on it.)
Overall, a decent read and worth the time, but it had quite a few stumbles in places that I hope are improved in the next book.

I couldn't wait to read this as I loved the first book so much. I think Quinn is one of my most favorite female characters. I can't wait to see her in action on the big screen. This book is a must read!!!

Intriguing and unique fantasy series. A few lulls, but for the most part this book was packed with action and backstory. A solid read.
Cliffhanger alert though, so have the next one queued up when you read this!

I didnt want it to end! I love the world Ms Dayton has built...so fantastic. I am so into this series, I am telling everyone about it.

Pros: several fight scenes, more background, quick moving plot
Cons:
For Parents: some sexual content (nothing graphic), some swearing, some violence
Mere weeks have passed since John’s airship home crashed and Shinobu is slowly healing. When he and Quin are attacked by two feral boys and her father, they head for safety in Hong Kong. The Middle Dread’s plans put them in danger and they search the diary of John’s mother for clues to what’s happened to Seekers in the past in order to avoid the same fate. Meanwhile, John has found someone willing to finish his Seeker training.
The book alternates through several viewpoints, including the new point of view of Catherine, John’s mother, from the time of her training until her pregnancy with John. I personally found her chapters the most interesting, as they shined light on what the previous generation of Seekers were up to, and showed how she’d changed - or warped - into the woman John remembered. She begins her scenes quite like Quin, idealistic and believing in the nobility of the Seekers. It’s her research into the actions of the Middle Dread and the journal she writes about it, that guides this book, as both Quin/Shinobu and John search through the entries for clues in the present.
I really liked all of the protagonists in this book. Shinobu’s arc made me a little sad at times, given the substance abuse he fell into in the first book. John’s training was interesting and I would have liked to see more of it. Quin doesn’t change much, but I suspect that’s because she started this book in a better place than the other two.
The bad guys, while somewhat comical in their ineptitude, are also kind of terrifying with regards to the implications surrounding them. The Middle Dread has, apparently, been busy while the Old Dread slept.
There are a couple of good fight scenes as the plot speeds along. There’s just enough down time to appreciate the revelations that come before the characters head to the next problem or the point of view changes.
I liked that more of the Seeker families make an appearance, and that their history feels more grounded in this book. I also liked that a few more Seeker tools make their appearance. From the sounds of it, there are a couple more to discover in the last book as well.

This is just hands down the best book I have ever read. The pacing is fantastic. I was so wrapped up in it when it ended (DAMN you Goodreads for not preparing me that this was NOT the conclusion to a duology! Trilogy ends 2017) that I am still in shock. I have NOTHING bad to say about this book. I devoured it. Loved every second and every word. I will now use this book to compare all other book ratings I give too :) This one deserves a 6th star.

Traveler was so wonderful!!! The characters, world building, details and most of the answers I had been wanting were all there. Of course, not all the answers, you have to leave somethings for the last book. Traveler was even better than Seeker in that I had been building through Seeker for these moments, that I finally got in Traveler. I love the journey that Arwen has the characters take and the struggles they have along the way. All of this strengths them and prepares them for what is to come.

Traveler was so wonderful!!! The characters, world building, details and most of the answers I had been wanting were all there. Of course, not all the answers, you have to leave somethings for the last book. Traveler was even better than Seeker in that I had been building through Seeker for these moments, that I finally got in Traveler. I love the journey that Arwen has the characters take and the struggles they have along the way. All of this strengths them and prepares them for what is to come.

Through out the book, I loved how the short cadence of the character’s dialogue was played out. Even though this is a fantasy book, the characters sound realistic and natural. Being a teenager and having that sudden responsibility thrown on you, would take anyone down. However, I notice Quin’s (our FEMALE hero) knowledge of self, was the outlining theme and it constantly helped her and her companions come into the light, while surrounded by the blackness. The action/adventure and suspense in TRAVELER reminds me of other well written fantasy books e.g. The Legend of Drizzt, Elequest-Blood of Ten Chiefs and the Necromancers’ Pride series. Kudos to Ms. Dayton for writing such and intriguing book. Can’t wait to read her other books as well.

4.5 Holy cliffhanger, Batman! This second book in the Seeker series is well done and fast-paced with lots of new information from glimpses of the past and from Maud herself. Much is discovered, Catherine's past is revealed, and the love triangle resolved. I can't wait for the third!

This is insane, and I don't like it. Why does Shinobu this to Quin?
Well, it turned out, that Quin is now in a position, where everything can happen – and it does. But to be honest, this second book wasn´t as quite as good as the first one Seeker.
But despite that, I enjoyed it anyways, had a good time reading and got some answers, I had remaining from reading the previous book.
Quin has to learn, that her relationship with John never existed the way she thought it had. The John she had to face on board the Traveler and in Hong Kong was not the same boy she spent many hours training with. And she knows that she has to do everything she can, to keep John from using the Athame and continue his revenge. But something else is bothering her. Where have all the Seekers disappeared? And why? The deeper she and Shinobu dig into the past of the Seekers, the more she gets to see that a long time ago something went badly wrong. And that the death of the dread wasn´t the solution. On the contrary she now has to face three more than willing boys who try to kill her only to get what they think belongs to their master.
From the perspective of some of the figures, the reader is thrown into a story where no one is save. Quin soon has to face the truth that others want her dead only because they think she is a thief. The athame she possesses and the other things she uses to search for answers are some rare artifacts and highly sought by the Watcher.
Arwen Elys Dayton has a wonderful language and a very nice writing style. But in this second book I missed some of her great fantasy she used to show in Seeker. Yes, Traveler is in many ways a good book and, yes, you will have your good time with it. But it wasn´t as haunting and thrilling as the first book of this trilogy.
The author has created some really great and strong figures with Quin, John and Shinobu. They have to go through a lot, have to face things they´d rather not and have to learn that not everything they were raised to believe was right or good.
For John means possessing his family´s athame everything. With that dagger he will finally be able to get the revenge he promised his mother he would have. But using the athame the wrong way can do more harm than good. When he starts to realize with the unusual training the young Dread is giving him, that he was kind of wrong longing only for vengeance, he starts to change and becomes more and more a strong and very capable young man.
Quin is in love. With Shinobu. But he is changing right in front of her and she doesn´t know how to stop that. The new artifact they are carrying with them doesn´t make things easier. But her will to find answers, to be able to see behind the plan someone is obviously having is stronger and so she is willing to help Shinobu, not knowing how far things already have gone and that he is in a dangerous situation.
I had my pleasure reading it, no doubt about that. But it wasn´t as much fun or pleasure as I had with the first book, that is for sure. If it wouldn´t have been for the fantastic characters the author has created with Quin and John, I probably wouldn´t have finished it. But still, I am looking forward to the third one Disruptor.

I have to say that this one was better than the first book. I thought that Seeker had a weak premise, and I was right...because all the exposition is in the second book. Seriously, book one and two should be one story together. Traveler explained so many of my questions, and now I'm glad I decided to read it. Originally I was iffy on continuing this series because I was so confused in the first book. But I thought, what the hell, I'll try the second book and see where it takes me. I almost didn't finish it in time before it was due back to the e-library. But I made it. And I thought this book was the conclusion, so I kept reading on....AND THERE'S ANOTHER BOOK!! Disrupter, the conclusion to the Seeker trilogy, will be out in Spring 2017! Argh! I thought this book was the conclusion: now I have to wait to see what happens.
This is the author's evil plot: give us one book that is interesting but raises more questions than gives answers, then give us another book that answers our questions but leaves us at a critical point, and now make us wait for the finale!!! Arghhh!!!
Ok. Back to the story: Shinobu pisses me off. He is such an addict, and as a former addict I can recognize the behavior. In the first book he was addicted to opium, and now he is addicted to this helmet called a "focal," which gives the wearer the power to focus on anything in the universe. The downside to this helmet? It can make you go crazy! And I'm still not thrilled that he and Quin, our main female protagonist, are cousins...and in love. I was rooting for John, and I've been rooting for him since the beginning. Shinobu makes stupid choices and puts Quin's life in danger because he thinks he is doing what is best for her. At least John didn't hide multiple things from Quin: he told her that he needed her help right away with getting back his family's honor. But she had to be ridiculous and fall for her "beautiful" cousin. Eww. But I guess that's ok, because they are "barely related" and he has been in love with her "for as long as he can remember." Also eww.
But I won't judge. I'm just mad now...have to wait another YEAR to find out if the series is worth the time. I would've originally said no after Seeker, with its bizarre and confusing premise, but now that I've read Traveler, I'm not so sure.
Now to wait and see what happens. Commence waiting......now.

I definitely will agree with other reviews that book 2 was better than book 1. The story develops far more in Traveler and a much more intricate plot is revealed. There is a lot of of action that keeps the pages turning. I enjoyed how the author went back and forth between Seekers now and Seekers in the past, with both stories running simultaneously.
Interesting story for sure and not like anything else I've read recently. A very unique and original universe!

Mooi vervolg op Seeker! De wereld van de Zoekers breidt zich uit en wordt echt beter en beter. Mijn recensie komt de 25e online, een dag na het uitkomen van Disruptor, het derde deel in deze trilogie!

Eindelijk meer antwoorden op al mijn vragen van boek 1 want dat was vaag. Hierdoor vond ik dit deel dan ook leuker. Het is nog steeds niet geweldig, maar wel leuk!

Avant toute chose, je peux déjà affirmer que j'ai pu constater une nette amélioration par rapport au 1er tome de la série. Je suis heureuse d'avoir donné une seconde chance à cette série qui, pourtant, ne m'avait pas du tout plu au départ. J'avais trouvé le 1er tome beaucoup trop long et chargé de détails inutiles et incompréhensibles. Il y a avait trop de personnages à mon goût et surtout, pas assez d'interaction entre eux.
MAIS ! Ce second tome est totalement différent. Déjà, juste le fait que je savais un peu à quoi m'attendre m'a permis de passer outre les défauts pour me concentrer sur l'histoire en elle-même. J'ai trouvé le tout beaucoup mieux structuré et compréhensible. L'auteur avait semé un nombre incalculable de pistes dans le premier tome et avec toutes ces informations, il était très difficile de s'y retrouver. Cette fois, elle fait la lumière sur plusieurs mystères entourant l'univers et ses personnages.
Il y a toujours autant de points de vue différents (si je ne me trompe pas, j'en ai compté six), et même si les personnages sont encore souvent séparés, il est possible de faire des liens entre chacun. J'ai vraiment l'impression que l'auteur a enfin retrouvé le fil de son histoire. J'avais décelé un très bon potentiel dans le premier tome et c'est ce qui m'avait poussé à donner une deuxième chance à la série. Et dans ce tome, j'ai enfin la preuve que mon intuition ne m'avait pas trompé. J'ai tout particulièrement apprécié le point de vue de Catherine, la mère de John, qui nous permet de faire la lumière sur plusieurs mystères entourant les seekers.
Il y a encore quelques défauts et quelques longueurs, mais le roman dans son ensemble est beaucoup mieux rythmé que le précédent. Le simple fait d'avoir enfin des réponses à toutes ces questions aide énormément. Je n'ai pas donné une note plus élevée au roman puisque j'ai encore beaucoup de mal avec les personnages. J'ai l'impression que je ne les comprends pas. Dans le premier tome, aucun ne m'avait semblé assez captivant pour que je souhaite en savoir plus sur lui. Cette fois, avec l'arrivée du point de vue de Catherine, ça m'a aidé à changer ma perception. Je ne suis pas encore très fan de certains personnages, comme Quin et Shinobu, mais j'ai appris à apprécier John et Maud.
En bref, un excellent second tome si on le compare au premier. L'auteur sait beaucoup plus où elle s'en va avec son univers et ça se ressent lors de la lecture. C'est moins brouillon et plus concret. Avec le cliffhanger sur lequel nous laisse Arwen Elys Dayton, je suis curieuse de connaître la suite et fin de la trilogie. Je ne suis pas impatiente, mais c'est déjà beaucoup mieux que c'était.

Nadat ik deel 1 Seeker gevonden had op het boekenfestijn en ik die ook gelijk gelezen had op mijn vakantie, keek ik reikhalzend uit naar deel 2. Gelukkig begreep mijn lieve vriendje dit perfect en zorgde hij dat dit boek op mijn verjaardag ingepakt op tafel lag!
En van dit boek heb ik weer genoten van begin tot het einde. Je start gelijk waar je gebleven bent. Geen onnodige terugblikken. Het boek is hetzelfde opgebouwd. Je leest vanuit Quin, Shinobu, John en Maud, maar dit keer nog een extra toevoeging: vanuit de moeder van John; Catherine! Heerlijke scenes vol actie. Enige romantiek, maar niet veel en de nadruk ligt daar zeker niet op. En dan die cliffhanger! IK WIL MEER!!
ZO jammer dat deze serie in mijn omgeving nog weinig gelezen wordt. Ik had er lage verwachtingen van en zeker van een deel 2 (you know, second book syndrome), maar helemaal niet nodig. Dit is een heerlijk YA serie, compleet origineel. Genieten geblazen!

Sigh....I'm not quite sure how I feel about this book yet. It took me forever to read. It didn't hold my attention & I kept losing my concentration reading it. I liked this book but, at times it was painful to read due to how slow it was. I really liked the first book in this series (Seeker). It's such a unique story with an equally unique plot line. Here's where I had some issues, I felt like I was reading the same thing over & over again. Every chapter revolved around the characters pov. You had the pov's from Maud (The Young Dread), John, Shinobu, Quin, Nott & Catherine. Now, Catherine is Johns mother but her pov was 18 yrs prior. Her part of the story is what I found the most interesting. You saw how everything started to unfold & just how far back everything started. You really got a sense on who she was & her personality really unfolded on the pages. With the other character pov's, there was just no substance. Now, yes we got a lot of substance in Seeker with these characters & got to know them in Seeker but, they all fell flat here. I still enjoyed the book & really like the characters. And like I said the storyline is unique & one that I haven't read in any other YA books. You can tell with how this book was written, that the author was really thoughtful with how she wrote it. Where there is so much going on in this book, so many different pov's & so many directions this book takes, it's actually very well written.

It was better than book 1 but I am not absolutely fan of this. The world building is really great, we learn a lot of new stuff about being a seeker, seeker's family ...
Maud and John are great characters but Quin is a bit too nice for this book, she is kind of transparent t

Io ci ho provato. Sul serio. E ora vorrei prendermi a pugni da sola.
Non so perché ma questa serie continua a non stuzzicarmi. La sento grigia, fredda e non riesce a trasmettermi nulla nonostante la storia non sia del tutto malvagia. Voglio dire, la trama di fondo è buona, gli spunti ci sono così come le ricerche, ma il tutto mi pare troppo acerbo. Non so se è la traduzione, non so se è proprio lo stile della scrittrice, eppure è una continua tabula rasa emozionale.
Quin e Shinobu sono carini insieme, ma presi singolarmente sono dei personaggi che fanno acqua da tutte le parti. John non ne parliamo. Maud è l’unica che ancora stimola il mio interesse; l’unica a sapere che minkia stia facendo. Punto in più per Catherine, la madre di John. I capitoli a lei dedicati sono stati una boccata d’aria fresca.
Ciononostante, questo secondo volume è migliore del primo.
La storia è nel vivo e tutte le pedine del gioco stanno venendo rivelate. Tuttavia mi stupisce il fatto che il cattivo di turno, riconosciuto nella figura del Dread Mediano, sia ancora attivo, nonostante lui sia morto. O quasi.
Insomma, si scoprono finalmente i membri delle altre casate, si ha un quadro generale della storia e dei personaggi, ma la trama va avanti ad inerzia. E l’intelligenza dei personaggi non aiuta molto. Anzi…
Per lo meno risparmierà 19 euro non comprando il romanzo conclusivo. O me lo farò regalare, non saprei.

Dit boek was beter dan seeker. Waar ik seeker nog moeizaam lezen vond omdat ik me niet goed kon bedenken in welke tijd en omgeving het verhaal zich afspeelde,vond ik dit boek duidelijker en makkelijker lezen. Er wordt wel vanuit de standpunten van veel hoofdpersonen verteld maar op zich is dat niet storend of vervelend. Nu ben ik benieuwd naar hoe het afloopt met Quin.

Arwen Elys Dayton zachwyciła mnie wykreowanym światem w pierwszej części serii Poszukiwaczka. Jednak gdy nadchodzi czas by przeczytać kolejny tom cyklu zaczynają się obawy. Co jeśli w tym przypadku historia okaże się nieciekawa? Co jeśli autorka poprowadzi postaci w innym kierunku? Przygody Quin, Johna i Shinobu w Poszukiwaczce zabrały mnie w niesamowitą podróż do świata, w którym nie istnieje tylko dobro i zło. Jednak kontynuacja tejże książki okazała się jeszcze bardziej niezwykła.
Fabuła Podróżniczki to oczywista kontynuacja wydarzeń z pierwszej części serii. Nadal wiele tajemnic musi wyjść na światło dzienne, jednak autorka postanowiła w tej części skupić się bardziej na pokazaniu nam jak wygląda świat zaprzysiężonych Poszukiwaczy. Do perspektyw głównych bohaterów dochodzą retrospekcje z punktu widzenia Catherine - matki Johna oraz Notta. Pozwoliło to autorce poprowadzić historię w trzech kierunkach, które stopniowo się zazębiają. Zamiast więc jednotorowej akcji, możemy zagłębić się w życie poprzedniego pokolenia Poszukiwaczy, jednocześnie obserwując poczynania ich dzieci, które chcą naprawić błędy z przeszłości i odkryć jakie tajemnice zmieniły życie ich rodzin. Z drugiej strony poznajemy Notta - jednego z Obserwatorów, pokazującego nam inne oblicze Sędziów, którzy byli dość tajemniczymi postaciami w poprzedniej części. Według mnie ten zabieg był bardzo dobrym pomysłem, ponieważ kontynuacja samych wydarzeń z pierwszej części serii nie pozwoliłaby w fabule zawrzeć tyle informacji, a jednak w przypadku tak skomplikowanej historii są one potrzebne by w pełni zrozumieć zasady rządzące światem stworzonym przez autorkę.
Ciężko mi też spojrzeć na tę książkę obiektywnie. Styl pisania Arwen tak mnie zauroczył, że nawet jeśli jakieś błędy logiczne się pojawiały, to tak jak w przypadku poprzedniej części całkowicie je zignorowałam.
