My name is Christopher Greyson, and I am a storyteller.

Since I was a little boy, I have dreamt of what mystery was around the next corner, or what quest lay over the hill. If I couldn’t find an adventure, one usually found me, and now I weave those tales into my stories. I am blessed to have written over twenty novels.

My love for tales of mystery and adventure began with my grandfather, a decorated World War I hero. I will never forget being introduced to his friend, a WWI pilot who flew across the skies at the same time as the feared, legendary Red Baron. My love of reading and storytelling eventually led me to write and it’s the best job I’ve ever had.

I love to hear from my readers. I hope my stories have brightened your day.

Christopher Greyson's latest Jack Stratton novel, Data Jack, takes the reader on the action-packed thrill ride one has come to expect from the series. Former veteran and cop turned successful bounty hunter Jack becomes involved in helping Alice, his beautiful but computer geek girlfriend, after their dog Lady is attacked protecting their apartment during a break-in. With humor and a specific writing style, Greyson has brought Jack to life as a man, haunted by his past, just trying to make a living. Jack Stratton is a character men can respect and women can swoon over, and not only in the novel. I became addicted to the series from the beginning, and I highly recommend reading the Jack Stratton books.

I like this series! Easy to read and good action sequences. This one was good although a little lovey-dovey for me (if its going to have a romantic element there may as well be some action!).

The ending could have been better too - the 2 women should have been more of a red herring rather than an 'also ran' and Jack never enquired as to who the 5 guys were or why they were attacking the house.

It was a modern murder mystery weekend setting which worked OK and these stories never get too complicated which is good....I think.

In this book in the Jack Stratton series, Jack is still a bounty hunter bringing in little money when the work dries up. It is up to Replacement/Alice and her self-taught computer skills to bring home money and she gets lucky when she is chosen to work on setting up security with high tech options at the local mansion of what Jack calls a "boy billionaire". Pierce is a nice guy who just wants to code and his skills have made him a billionaire with a successful company only someone is hacking his system and selling his secrets.

Alice and Jack work to help Pierce which makes Jack jealous thinking he can't compete with the handsome, sweet rich guy. This leads to some real stupidity and a few soap opera scenes which is why I took off a star. Also, another goofy situation led to that star coming off. Jack is 26 and Alice is 20. Neither are virgins. Alice was raped as a child in a foster home. Both of them visit their former foster mother Aunt Haddie at the nursing home and she makes them each promise not to have sex with each other unless they are married. They don't want to but they promise. Oh please A 20 year old and a 26 year old are both adults and need to tell their old foster mother to butt out. I wouldn't take that crap off my own real mother!

There are a lot of suspects for Jack and Alice to check out and one of them breaks in and hurts their 110 lb King shepherd Lady!

Great plot, easy read, characters are entertaining

I have really enjoyed reading the entire Jack Stratton series. The development of the characters, the story plots, and the whodunit of each individual book. As I finished each book I went right into the next one. Christopher Greyson is an excellent writer whose books flow so very well. Can't wait for Jack of Hearts!

Through all these books its always been Alice that has been the jealous one. When the women throw themselves at Jack she is right there to stake her claim. This time its Jacks turn. Pierce, the "boy billionaire" finds Alice amazing. He can talk tech with her she is gorgeous and has a great sense of humor, the only problem is her boyfriend Jack. But Pierce has a thing for going after things he isn't supposed to have.

Alice isn't sure what's going on with Jack. All of a sudden he has pulled back. She is ready to take their relationship to the next level and he has put on the breaks. What she doesn't know is that its all because of a promise he made to their Aunt Haddie.

Jack tries to rein in his jealousy and keep Alice close as she works along side Pierce who has obvious interest in her. When things start to get strange at the mansion and people start getting hurt Jack is called in to the rescue.

Another fun mystery with great characters. These books remind me a bit of Janet Evanovich's number series books which are light hearted mysteries with fun characters that you just want to keep reading about.

Abandoned this book for one simple reason. I love Jack Stratton, and the author took nearly everything from him at the very beginning of the book. Author apparently couldn’t find a better motive than stripping Jack of all income, endangering his rent, income etc etc. Pretty much punishing the character without cause.
This is all made clear in the description, but actually reading why Jack is doing what Jack does through it is not my cup of tea. Tbh, I’m a big fan of coffee, so here we are. It felt like i had missed a book in between the previous book and the start of Data Jack, and that’s seriously not cool. I’ve read the previous books repeatedly and will read them again, but for now, life is too short to listen to Jack being tortured with income problems!
Dear authors, please be very careful about taking everything from your characters just to give them motivation to not back out of some thing. Don’t kill the Hedwig’s either! (Rowling’s excuse was lame, and that act was uncalled for!)

'Data Jack' goes international, Lady's in for the 'dogfight' for her life, Alice and Jack heat-up and then cool-off, a new beau takes an interest in her (and she reciprocates that interest), Jack finds out, a war-zone breaks-out in his palace-of-a-mansion, and both of them help to save her life. Who'll 'get her' in the end? I gotta tell'ya, I'm a little disappointed that the love-triangle problem was resolved and the 'good guy' gets Alice. The answer to my query in 'The Giant Killer' about their relationship moving forward, or splitting-up (for the betterment of both of them) is answered.... I've always liked Marisa and Ki-Ku... and Jack and Alice will always be caring foster siblings... Thanks to Aunt Haddie, the truth will set both of them 'free.'

Alice has a job doing wifi setup for a rich tech CEO.
Pierce is trying to write a new program, but doesn’t realize a crew is setting up his wireless. He becomes interested in Alice, they’re both computer geeks, so Jack decides to help Alice and stick around.

The boss on the job is injured by a shelf of equipment falling on him, but Jack is suspicious it’s not an accident.

When it seems there’s a leak, Pierce hires Jack to figure it out, and he does, but there’s more to it. Though Pierce thinks that’s the end of it, Jack figures out there’s a whole other layer involving another traitor and the Russian mob.

Lots of excitement and intrigue, neat scenes with clues and gatherings of suspects, side story in the threat to Jack and Alice’s relationship.

What can I say? Another great read in the Jack Stratton series. It is great how from one book to the next it feels like you are more of a part of these couple than just reading about them. Sometimes even getting a job networking can lead you to a case to solve. You may also learn in this book that sometimes even a family pet can turn into a crime-fighting partner. Then when you turn that last page and read that last line and you can't wait for the next book, you know you have a writer that will keep bringing you back to this amazing story.

Another great book

Jack Stratton series are so well written each book leaves you anxious for the next! I have read the entire series and reserved the new book. I recommend this to all readers that enjoy suspense and mystery. Jack is so macho but Alice softens him around the edges. The proposal was a great way to end this book. Keep writting Christopher Greyson this fan loves you, Jack and Alice!

Nerd alert - it’s really good!

Another fun Jack Stratton novel. This time Jack is out of his element with the case and with a love rival, and Replacement is the star of this novel. This novel is all about digital footprints and identity theft, something that Jack cannot use his strength and street smarts to solve, so it is up to Replacement to shine. Great story and a wild ride.

Absolutely loved these books! I binge read all of the Jack Stratton series, and anxiously waiting for the next one. The characters jump off of the page and grab you.

Another great story about Alice and Jack. This time they help a multi-millionaire find out who is trying to steal the data his company holds. Will they catch him before anyone else gets hurt, or even worse, killed. But how do you catch a killer half a world away?

I LOVE A GOOD SERIES

I have friends who chide me all the time for burying myself in a books in a series but I usually fall in love with the characters in a well written story and hate for it to end.

Jack and Replacement are great and masterful creations and their adventures are cleverly woven into intriguing plots. Even the sub-characters are equally appealing.

Moving on to Jack of Hearts because I know I’ll love it too.

Happy reading.

If you like a little mystery and suspense and like it without foul language or explicit sex, this is the series for you. While the stories might not be quite as engaging as Baldacci or Grisham, they are still good reads. This is the second Jack Stratton book I've read and I'm going to read the rest.

I love Jack Stratton!

These novels actually have the good guys win in the end. And, people like and respect Jack. He is one of the good guys. I love this series. There is action, romance, humor, and likeable characters. This would make a great TV series. I will of course read the next book when it comes out.

Love that Jack

I love reading a series and the Jack Stratton series was what I was looking for. I like getting to know the characters. I was sad to be finished the series and can't wait for the next one. So hurry Mr. Grayson and write the next one. I'm sure Jack and Replacement have plenty to get into trouble.

How does love fare when...

Alice gets a job with a handsome and wealthy new boss purely by accident. They become closer as Jack watches to see if he is still in the game when a mystery binds the three of them together in a dangerous game of corporate espionage. Read it and love it like I did!

Could not put this one down.

I think I broke a record as to how long it took me to read a book. I just could not put this one down. I enjoyed the story and the fast pace in which the author kept it moving. This series has been awesome. Winter is my favorite time to read and these books are great entertainment during the dreary days and cold weather.

Another thriller!

Another thrilling adventure for Jack and Alice. When Alice accepts a job from a friend who is working for a millionaire, the hunt is on for a mole amongst the small group of folks working at the small mansion. Alice enlists Jacks' help when the clues don't add up. That's when the fun begins.

“You’re like her sun. She revolves around you.” I have become fully invested in Jack’s story and even more so his story with Replacement. With a possible fork in the road, their bond did not falter. While I’m still impressed with Jack’s detective work, I am most intrigued by his heart. Another great one!

Jack is still a bounty hunter, which means long hours of surveillance, getting rough up and hoping the boss will pay him. Alice gets a lucrative job, putting in a high security system in Pierce house. With what he is working on, he needs better security. Jealous hits Jack seeing Alice around Pierce. Good action, Murder. Danger, for Jack to figure out. Good series.

What a page-turner! This is another action-packed, edge-of-your-seat story featuring Jack and his friend Replacement. There is a wealthy man who needs their help in securing his home and his software, and of course, there are evil villains who want to breach everything and ruin it all. This series is excellent and not to be missed!

Probably my least favorite of the series so far. Not sure why but I had trouble getting into the story. Especially since most of it was Jack being jealous and unemployed once more and Replacement being whinier and more naive than usual. I really hope this isn't the beginning of the decline for this series
