I'm so happy that this series just continues to be amazing. There was a section where I thought we might get a repeat of what happened in the last volume, with Ma Ri and Jae Min being on the outs, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the author went in another, better direction... and I might've cried a little heh. And Si Hoo was actually kind of likable, for once lolol. I hope that the upcoming arc is going to be just as good, if not better.
Marie Baek is a vampire high school girl in world where human and vampire live together, she always been ostracized for being vampire even when they don't drink human blood anymore, she's tired of moving around everytime something bad happened. She wish human and vampire will live in actual peace and not afraid of vampire anymore. Through this series we'll see her trying to navigate her life as closeted vampire in high school, trying to have good time and actual friendship.
At this point in the manhua, it was really refreshing to see the indirect juxtapositions between the discrimination Mari faces and how that crosses over into the IRL. I started to see this series as illuminating real-life issues and that's when it became more impactful - not just another vampire story.
The chibi characters are always the cutest and I love how the vampire storyline is amping up. There's still a lot of wishy-washiness on Mari's part which is really annoying, but I'm glad there was development in the end on that part.
