NE-ČAČ-KAJ!!

Even after 36 installments the story is just as gripping as when it has started.
The authors have kept the same quality to the story, the characters, the drawings. I very much liked the little details like the font style depending on who's talking (Robot, Marko & Alana, Hazel). The humor, the mocking never lost the touch. The story gets more complicated by the page and the side stories are enriching the main one.
Just wonderful; can't wait for the 37th issue.

After six volumes collecting thirty-six issues of the series to date, it's sad to ascertain that Saga has been hit by the Decline Monster that falls on every long-running series. The first signs had appeared, to me, in the preceding volume, but I'd hoped it was just that the series hit a plateau and would surge upwards again. I'm not seeing it has.

Vaughan shouldn't aim to make this series to be as long as he seems to, because if things continue like at present, that might be counterproductive. The series already has established itself as very good, but by the very nature of its type of storytelling and its contents, it's one of those which would be better served if told straightforwardly in a determined number of issues, to avoid "wandering" plots and filler and bloated storytelling. Personally, I'm leaning towards stopping here, at least until this series is finished, to keep the good memories of the five volumes already published from souring up if the decline I perceive continues. Hopefully, it's just another, perhaps longer plateau and not really a loss in quality that'll continue henceforward, though the overuse of cliffhangers I'm also noticing and the direction the plot is going points towards being cautious more than optimistic.

'Dying is one of the few experiences we'll eventually all enjoy firsthand, and like most shit that's commonplace, it's boring to dwell on. My fellow inmates/classmates (and really, what's the difference?) showed me it was more interesting to concentrate on the living.

'Because death is fucking predictable...
...but life has science experiments and free time and surprise naps and who knows what comes next?'

No tengo palabras...

1. I wanted the teacher or grandma to escape but the freaking petrichor did. Ugh. But maybe it’ll be symbolic of bringing the world together if a racist starts accepting them.
2. Omg Ghüs is my hero. Hahaha just slices The Will’s fingers off.
3. When Hazel sees Marko. “Daddy daddy daddy daddy daddy daddy.” My heart!!
4. Alana is having another baby?!?!? Omg omg omg omg omg.
