This book features one stronghearted young woman and her five rockstar lovers. All six of them are struggling to overcome their dark pasts while falling more deeply in love. P.S. Nobody said she had to pick just one. Turn the page only if you enjoy true love, raw grief, genuine human connection, rock 'n' roll, and books with unfiltered, unashamed sex. “I'm in love with five bad boy rockstars. But is our love strong enough to overcome our tragedy?” Lilith Goode is dating—and in love with—five gorgeous rockstars. She shares her body, her heart, and her soul with each one of them. Paxton is the leader, covered in tattoos, and cocky as hell. Michael is the bad boy determined to change his ways. Ransom is the scarred one, dark and beautiful. Muse is the practical one, the enigma with a silver mohawk. Copeland is the boy next door with a penchant for reading romance novels. Together, these six twisted souls make up one beautiful whole. But can one woman really love five different men? What if they're all tattooed, pierced, scarred, and broken? And what if they all need her as much she needs them? Their love is as unconventional as their music. Rock 'n' roll, romance, redemption. A story about finding beauty everywhere … even in a lie. Roadie, Book #2 in the Rock-Hard Beautiful Trilogy a New Adult Erotic Rocker Romance from International Bestselling Author C.M. Stunich ***ROADIE is a 90,000 word novel about strong emotions, difficult pasts, and vibrant love. It contains bad boy rockers, rock 'n' roll concerts, handcuffs, friendship, explicit sex scenes and forgiveness. This is a MMMFMM book with a STRONG focus on the woman (although there is some light M/M in here, too) aka a reverse harem novel (one woman, five guys). It has a happy ending, NO cliff-hanger, and is the second book in a trilogy.

C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.

She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. the most interesting part of this book was the torrid relationship between Ransom and Paxton.

i literally went from hating Paxton to swooning over him and Ransom😭💀

like literally any time Paxton and Ransom argued, tore into each other about their pasts, i literally just sat whispering “kiss, go on, kiss. dare you to kiss”. even when im not reading mm romances, im still hunting for that good gay shit🤌🏻

their turbulent history was the main reason i was addicted to the first book. i was desperate to find out what happened between them and it was bleak to say the least... so i craved for them to move past all of their shit and move forward together and with Lilith. but i could low-key tell there was sexual tension between them😏 im glad the author did explore that. them kissing at the art gallery, full of hatred, heartache and angst? yes please.

then when they kissed while they fucked Lilith like the bitch wasn’t spread eagle in front of them... maybe men do deserve rights?

chapter twelve was 😏😏 until Lilith ruined it. i know, i know, it’s a reverse harem, but personally, i don’t think it has to centre around the girl and however many guys there is. to me, the relationships (platonic or not) between the guys is just as important. so everything being about Lilith all the time bugged the tf out of me. i just wanted a few moments between the guys to sort their shit out without her having to be involved.

she just loved to make everything about her and i was not impressed. like Ransom and Pax were finally working through their shit, this big clash of thundering feels unravelling after four years of heartache... and this nosy motherfucker has to come and ruin it by literally, physically pushing her way between them and making it about how they can both please her.

give the guys some room, i mean, the amount of trauma they both had, the hatred, lost love and sheer pain they were both finally acknowledging... and she couldn’t have just stepped back for that one moment? it seriously had nothing to do with her, everything happened long before they met her so idk why tf she decided to shove her way into the situation💀 she even admits herself:
Of course, when I think of Pax and Ran getting it on in the rain, I get these crazy butterflies and a ridiculous urge to squeal and run backstage, just to make sure I don't miss anything between them.

like gurl it is not of your goddam business!! she just needed to back up lmao. i wanted each of the guys to find their ways back to one another through their trauma and finally be the band they were always destined to be after slogging through all their personal shit— without Lilith making it about her.

but other than my slight obsession with Pax and Ran... this was mediocre at best. again, not a lot of plot. it barely moved forward— even some emotional storylines get opened and then solved pretty quickly within a handful of chapters, like Cope’s history. literally within about three chapters his trauma was divulged then settled ://// like just gimme a bit more plz. like Michael with his brother? Pax and his parents? literally Muse’s entire past? it has the potential with some super interesting characters, but the author focuses too much on the sex.

i know *gasp* too much sex? but there’s only so many sixomes(?) i can read about before im bored af. the only sex scenes which interested me were Lilith and Michael’s (mainly bcos he only joined the harem at the very end of the previous book, so they’ve had like zero scenes together) and then Ran and Pax’s scenes bcos it segued into them splintering open a lot of their emotional baggage and that was the highlight of this book for me.

i honestly don’t know what the author will be writing about in book three since i feel like there’s really not much left to say? i guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Let's say that this one was a bit better...

We get to know them all a little be better too...and they get to know each other a little bit better as well...

Sexual boundaries are explored in this polyamorous relationship...even the boundaries of love are being extended as long lasted friendship between two band members slips into a hawt mess-from hatred filled linked pasts, over piled up guilt and self-deprication, towards the release of emotionaly sexual outbursts...

There are no labels...there are no limits...
There's only six of them being there for each other in the right moment...

And still it s a journey of inner growth and acceptance of the facts of life...
That's me, Lilith Tempest Goode, the girlfriend of Beauty in Lies, lover of five gorgeous men. Adult orphan. Artist. Groupie.

Even though this whole group menage looks too fuckin ideal to be functional on a long run, the way author reveals/peels off layers of each and every character she makes it hard to choose just one member...just one man...but is it possible to hold them all together...forever?!
The girl without a father or a mother or a sister. But the girl who, although she'd never rejoice at the loss of her loved ones, is starting to be okay with who she's becoming.

This story would probably be better as a one-off novel but it still manages to keep my interest. Granted, it's mostly because of all the hot sex but hey, I'm not complaining.

How's this jewel of a conversation?
"Pussies are a lot stronger than balls," Lilith says, startling both me and Pax. "Why would anyone say he's got balls to reference strength when a swift kick to the nether regions drops a man to his knees? As far as calling a weak person a pussy, well, pussies birth babies. Plus, they can take a pounding and enjoy it."

I kept waiting for sh1t to happen, until I realised sh1t was never going to happen. They are all just existing and I’m just indifferent 🫥

I don’t understand where the storyline went.
They basically just hang out all day, occasionally have deep conversations & then have sex as soon as the FMC locks eyes with any of them. I started hoping that they would stop looking at each other. The repetition was 🫠🫠🫠

I just needed more to occur. Yes, they talk about their trauma a lot, but it didn’t evolve into a plot twist or anything. I wasn’t hoping for a natural disaster to happen, but a small fire would have been something.

Maybe my expectations were too high because I assumed an RH rockstar relationship would produce scenarios that were exciting or I would be envious of. I am honestly bored for the FMC.

I DNF at 44% because I couldn’t with the pace anymore. It needed to amp up. Maybe it does after 44%, I will never know.

Alternatively, her ‘Havoc’ series is very good.

Amazing!

Wow, C.M. Stunich is such a fantastic author. The way this book seamlessly carried on from the first book was brilliant, great little and subtle referrals back to the first book on occasions to re-jog your memory of certain things is just incredible. I loved the way we got to know a bit more of the background of these characters in this book too, but still a Hot, Sexy and totally gripping read.

So I picked up this #2 book in the Rock-Hard Beautiful series, as soon as I finished Groupie! If you’ve read my review of the first one you’ll know I was very undecided of whether I loved it or hated it, and I’m proud to say I FINALLY know! In Roadie the individual characters, and the group dynamic becomes better. Lilith seems more calm, collected and perfectly flawed as she embraces her new place in life. She knows her love for her men equals their love for her, and she wants to help every single one of her men feel loved and beautiful. I love how she becomes more of a “we” instead of “me” or “I” – and at the same time, she embraces her individuality and recognizes that she needs to do stuff for HER, too.

The relationship between Lilith and her 5 rock gods becomes much more than sex, and transforms into something deeper and much more meaningful and heartfelt. Lilith steps out from her selfish bubble, and spends a lot of time and emotion on helping her men, and herself. Together they start to face their demons from their pasts. This book is just as hot, if not hotter, as the first, but at the same time it’s so much deeper within the storyline and at times it almost made my heart break.

I love how C.M Stunich handles the sexy times between the 6 people. Whilst Muse might have a talent for knowing who needs the first cup of tea, Lilith has an equal talent when it comes to sex. She’s not shy in taking what she wants and needs, but she also knows which of her men seems to need her the most and when. I was over the moon with the development between 2 of her men, and I really think C.M Stunich nails the perfect balance between love, sex and erotica.

Horrible audiobook,
Decant storyline but honestly it's getting a bit dull. There's not much going on storywise besides six people learning how to make a polygamist relationship work while on tour. They're also working through some of their personal trauma and healing through sex, not sure how healthy that is but it works for them. You would think the drama while on tour as a poly group would be off the charts but it seems fairly tame to me🤷‍♀️

Percussion—Copeland Park ⭐⭐

The second book in the Rock-Hard Beautiful series. They are still on the road, the tour keeps going, they keep having sex, all of them or only some. Still hot and interesting!

What I really loved in this book was Pax & Ransom's relationship and I kind of hate that I was so into them I started to not care about the others anymore. Don't get me wrong I still loved them all being together and everything, BUT I WAS MORE INTERESTED IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP. I loved everything about them, their kisses and I hated that they didn't have sex!! I was so happy they got over their problems from the past and realized they love each other. Well, love is a little too much in this book because they are still at the beginning of their relationship, but they are going there AND I LOVE BEING PART OF IT!!!

Their scenes were so hot and made me want to read more MM books. Thank you C.M. Stunich for opening my eyes to something new in books I didn't even think I would like!

description

In this book, we witness them all slowly healing from their past. Lilith starts a new chapter in her life, without her family and is grieving her dead father. It is so sad what happened to her I wanted to cry every time she thought about her father.

We still don't get a lot about Muse/Derek. His story is still not told to Lilith yet until the end of the book, and even then he only mentions to her what happened to him in his past, which is another sad story!!

They are all broken in a way or another and they all made me wanna cry while reading.

Roadie picks up where Groupie left off. By gathering Michael into the fold, Lilith has all five rock stars in her harem now. They have invited Lilith to go on the international portion of their tour, but first, they must finish up the domestic portion including a show in New York that will give Lilith the opportunity to face her dad’s death when she picks up his ashes at her childhood home. Pax and Ransom make progress in repairing their relationship. We also find out more about Cole and Muse’s backstories and why they are broken. And of course, there is lots of sexual healing going on.

This was a smut fest just like the first book. LOTS of smut. Not that I am complaining. Lilith was even less annoying in this one, and I liked that we are getting around to finding out each guy’s past and why they are so hurt and broken. I’m sure we still only have part of each picture and there are more reveals ahead. We should be getting more about Pax in the next book and while we learned more about Muse in this book, Lilith still needs to work her magic to begin to heal him. I’ve made it this far, might as well continue on.

I am utterly obsessed with Lilith and her guys. I love how dark and gritty this book is while also being incredibly sensual and sexy.

In Roadie, Lilith & her guys decide they want a real shot at a relationship between all of them. However, the past still haunts each and every one of them with grief and dark trauma. I love how Lilith helps her guys work through their issues and they do the same for her in return. I felt them all growing even closer in this book and it's just so good!!

I don't only love Lilith for her relationship with the guys. She proves she's not just searching for fuck buddies when she gives Octavia a second chance after what she did in the end of Groupie. I loved that Lilith stuck up for herself, but also gave Octavia room to admit she was wrong on her terms and make amends. I really hope these two become amazing friends. I need more supportive girl best friends in books!

We definitely learn a lot about the guys in this installment, but I feel like there's still so much to learn about each of them. I never want this series to end.

5+++ Stars - Words are not enough to express my love for this series so far.

I was blown away by Groupie and couldn’t wait to start Roadie and the emotions that I’m feeling now having read both books are almost impossible to put into words, but I’ll try.

So a reverse harem is a thing, who knew, and it’s a thing that has me wanting more, especially with Lilith and her 5 boyfriends. Yes, most people struggle to cope with one man in their life but for Lilith, the boys of “Beauty in Lies” are just what she needs following the unexpected death of her father.

Groupie ended on a sad note after Lilith is once again hurt by her ex. Now, Lilith is back in the bat cave with the boys that she is rapidly falling in love with but will their bond continue to remain as strong or will jealousy and insecurity take over their emotions?

To say that this story is wrong is too judgemental. Yes, it’s morally questionable but what’s to say that love can be determined by a number. I love the connection the Lilith, Pax, Michael, Cope, Muse and Ransom have formed and despite their painful backgrounds, they all seek solace in each other. I can’t decide which of the band members that I love the most so I can appreciate Lilith’s dilemma. For now, Lilith is happy with her life and being surrounded and protected by the boys she is falling in love with.

There was an inkling in Groupie that some MM action was soon to be had and this was explored in Roadie, which, given the characters involved, was so sweet and tender despite the warring emotions and the domineering personalities. Whilst trying to understand these new physical emotions, Lilith is still the sexual anchor here and is more than happy to be the middlewoman, so to speak!

With the tour ending, and Lilith’s family home visited, it’s now time to see if this group relationship can continue to flourish when the band returns home to Seattle. Will they be able to survive living apart, albeit in the same city, or will a shared house be on the horizon, I do hope so!

So onwards we go, and hopefully towards a HEA - for all involved. Whilst this storyline isn’t for everyone, and some may find the broken and dysfunctional nature of CM Stunich’s characters difficult to appreciate, if you can read this series with an open mind you will surely be able to feel the love growing between these Rock-Hard characters.

So, I really feel that Roadie and Moxie should have been one book. Then there would be a third book that sets the group up in Seattle and what it's like for them to establish a life together without the constant run of the road.

Groupie was satisfying despite the undertone of whine. Thankfully, the whine becomes what it really suppose to be: an expression of a variety of pain.

The bad hasn't changed that much from the first book. It's still rough around the edges and it has similar mistakes in it as the first one.

In the second book of the trilogy, the relationship of six has been established and what that means is explored in this one. The biggest deal is Lilith coming face to face with the loss of her father and all of the things that she held familiar as a child. Yet, none of it is hard as it could be because she now has five men determined to take care of her in every way possible.

I liked it when the author wrote in the the guys' perspectives and I was hoping that it would happen more. It does! That made me really happy to see. The only problem with that is they all kinda sound the same even though they aren't. There's a difference between the language and motions you end up developing as a group that are the same and the little quirks that makes each person unique. That bit of unique? It's always told to you rather than expressed.

The lyrics that Beauty in Lies performed and the "not so random" book excerpts that Cope thinks are some of my favorite bits of the series. I feel like that's where the author gives herself the freedom to be as poetic as she would like to be.

Hot damn!!

Yes... seriously!!! This. Is. So. Freaking. HOT!!! Ahh!! I love following Lillith and her men while they navigate into becoming a relationship and peeling away the layers to everyone. It’s addicting, delicious, enticing, steamy (where you want to grab your man / lady and have your way with them in the bedroom because of how hot and bothered you get in some of these scenes) just. YUMMY!! So excited for the last book!!!

(Also... it’s amazing it’s also on Audible with awesome narrators that make the book even better as you read along!)

This is my review for all 3 books.

I FREAKING love this series. I read the Madison Kate books last year and it was the reading highlight of my year and it really made me fall in love with reverse harem stories.

I've since read 4 or 5 series that I didn't really love UNTIL this came along. These books are just amazing. So well written, they're clever and fun and really make you fall in love with each of these guys. Pax and Ransom were my favorites but I have to say I really fell in love with Muse during the last book.

I'm so sad this series is over. I've been dreading ending it cause I loved it so much. I've been using these books to treat myself.

I would definitely recommend this series I might even re-read them I've loved is so much.

It felt like not as much happened in this sequel; no real angst, no drama... & I love the drama. There was a lot of exploring... each other & that’s always fun, but I’m looking forward to their trip to London, I get the idea it may be eventful.

I still enjoyed this book but I felt exhausted of this depressive haze they were all in and wallowing.

Also, sex scenes... I wanted bit realism, preparation, details and just simply something more organic. It felt she was constantly wet and ready to receive them immediately in every hole.

Went so quick

This is book 2 in the series and I feel a little cheated. It wasn’t as long as book one and I just feel like there was so much missing. Of course there is the final book and that could possibly fill in the gaps but it’s even shorter.

I still love the writing and the characters. The story line is awesome and the group scenes are fire. Idk I guess I got spoiled with how long and detailed book 1 was.

Don’t get me wrong still a great book, I personally just wanted more Bc I do like it so much.
