A gal looking for a new start PLUS a Beary single dad with a rock-hard body PLUS a beast out for blood…

Cute story

Cute story. Would have loved to have more depth in the characters. I was interested in finishing the story. The heroine had me confused. For a while I thought she was going to end up mated to nothing.

Fantastic story about Werebear / human Romance

Werebear needs a nanny for his daughter. His nanny is human. What's more the whole island has a ratio of two humans, remainder werebears. Will she remain as his nanny or his mate? Great characters, plot, and sexy scenario are in the story.

Bonus stories: Taken by Two Hockey Dragons-- best friends meet their mate through an unfortunate event-- will it change all of them? Another great read.

The Vampire Prince Harlem-- a captured girl who has never known love, find it-- or escapes per capitor by performing a task? An intriguing story and a great read with interesting characters.

Her Two Alphas-- can two wolf Alphas claims a mate before the evil Geiterwolf sacrifices her for his true love? Great read with twists and turns that will satisfy the paranormal reader.

The Dragon Shifter's Twins-- what happened between dragon and a witch at spring equinox? A great fast pace story that's what.

The Bear Detective Mate-- a personal assistant is attacked and a bear Detective it's watching over her-- a conspiracy? A terrific short story that has many twists and turns.

The Wolf's Mate-- a fast-paced story about a misunderstood genius bear shifter and a wolf seeking their mate. Terrific story with a Different Twist.

Kidnapped by the Vampire Prince-- vampire Prince kidnaps a human scientist to help solve why is Clan is dying. This is the most intriguing story yet of the bonuses.

The Vampire Prince's Baby-- a vampire has a lot on his plate including a human mate, a baby, shifters and his brother trying to take over his land, and fighting for his right to be emperor of the vampires--
Will he secede. This story wasn't filled with exciting drama and battles, characters are intricate, and sexy.

Owned by the Vampire King-- terrific story about what a vampire king would do for love.

The Alpha's Secret Son-- two teenagers graduate from high school, She is expecting his baby but does what is best for him, sending him off to college without telling them about the baby. He returns to his hometown after 6 years, bringing a girlfriend, and trouble. Great characters and not your typical story.

This is the best $0.99 that I have ever spent on one book that gives so much.

Five years previous, Tyrell Jarvis had watched the boat arrive back after the earthquake, tsunami, and storm had finally ended. Only a half dozen people had returned and the injured were helped from the boat. Tyrell, waiting on land, saw that Angela had not survived. Rex Tesla growled his name and angrily charged at him, beginning the shift into an angry bear. Tyrell did not make a move to defend himself, feeling he deserved Rex’s rage, but the alpha charged Rex and held him down. Tyrell’s sister, Ruby, pulled Tyrell to the truck and drove home.

The next day, Ricky brought a baby to Tyrell. With Angela gone, and Tyrell the baby’s father, it was his responsibility now. Overwhelmed, he felt unable to do this and Ricky said he would draw up the adoption papers. But when he picked up the crying baby that looked so much like him, he knew he could never give Tamara up.

Cynthia Jones was travelling on the ferry for her new job, but the waves made the ferry rock back and forth and she felt terribly ill. The captain gave her water to drink, but the half dozen people on board glared at her. He explained that they were not used to newcomers and she had thrown herself on their boat at the last second – and no, this was NOT the ferry but a private boat! But at least he agreed to take her to her island destination.

Ruby picked Cynthia up at the docks and, when they arrived at the ranch, it became obvious that Tyrell had not hired Cynthia – Ruby had! She was going away to college and he was going to need a nanny’s help with Tamara. Would he refuse to hire her? She had sold everything to move here! And how would the residents feel about a human on their shifter island?

I enjoyed this book very much. It was well-written with a good story line, although the Prologue raised more questions than it answered. The characters were well developed and interesting. I think readers would enjoy this book.

4 1/2 stars!! Great second story of the series

I have this 4 1/2 stars because I enjoyed the five and take of the relationship between Tyrell, the second in command to Ricky, and Cynthia, a human tricked by a well meaning sister to come to the island as Tyrell's nanny. Cynthia is not aware of shifters and accepted the job to start over after getting a divorce and leaving veterinarian college when she realized it wasn't her passion. She has a background working with kids and grew up in a farm, so it should be the perfect fit ... Right?! Unfortunately Cynthia meets up with someone that has fought, disagreed and now hates Tyrell before she even arrives on the island, but who now believes she is his true mate despite what she tells him in regards to her feelsings, plus who is that man that keeps giving her looks of pure hatred?

I don't want to give away the entire storyline, but the author does such a good job of use by the relationship between humans and shifters to work in messages of acceptance and love that kinda coincide with today's headlines.

There are a few things that could be offensive to some, including adult language, detailed intimate scenes and violence. If any of these things are offensive to you then this is not the book for you.

First, I have to say this grabbed my interest but then became a slow, hard slog to get through.
Secondly, I am so sorry I wasted my time. I felt fed up at the end not what I want to feel.
Thirdly, this story ends at 25% so it is not even a full book. You are getting lots of other stories at the end which I hate but in this case it saved me reviewing this as a DNF.
Didn't like that these two jump into bed with no emotions between them.
Found the antics portrayed by nearly everyone, juvenile, self-serving or just plain unexplainable.
The antiquated behaviour was nuts and having so many alphas on a tiny little island, just crazy. Not even having one top alpha to settle disputes just didn’t seem right as these four all had their own agendas.
None of them have stopped Rex in his behaviour or intervened to get him help. Thought Alpha’s were supposed to care for their people.
The fight at the end was ridiculous with Cynthia asking Tyler not to fight. It is a challenge between bears. Getting the crap beaten out of you and still having to fight was stupid. Rex was unbalanced and you were not going to get any sense out of him.

Disliked the main character

I didn't care for either main character. They both were just annoying. I didn't really care if they got together or if Cynthia even stayed on the island. I thought she was kind of a brat, selfish, and impulsive. Sure, finding out bear shifters exist would make anyone freak out. I just didn't understand how she could love the kid but freak out like she did in front of Tamara. Like I said, I get being upset, but saying nasty things when the kid can hear... just selfish. Also, Cynthia pursued Tyrell... right after her internal dialogue at how she shouldn't because it would affect her job and Tamara... impulsive. And then there was the whole Rex thing. Cynthia wasn't actually in the wrong for the way she acted... I get it, he was creepy. There was obviously something wrong going on him. It kind of sucked he didn't have a better support system. Honestly, the whole book was me hoping that Rex has a happy ending. I really didn't give a hoot about Cynthia or Tyrell. I did think Tyrell was a good guy for how he dealt with Rex and wanted Rex to be well so Tamara could have her uncle in her life.

“Werebear's Nanny is the second book in the Bear Shifter Island series but can be read as a stand-alone with no problem. This story captivated me from the first page to the last. Tyrell a bear shifter and single dad needs help with his six year old daughter. Unknown to Tyrell, his sister Ruby has advertised for a nanny. Cynthia a human has just been through a bad divorce and wants a change so she accepts the position. Although, they try to ignore it, there is an undeniable intense chemistry between Cynthia and Tyrell. They soon begin a hot steamy affair. Unfortunately, there are some werebears on the island who hate humans and want Cynthia gone. There is also one werebear obsessed with making Cynthia his mate. What transpires will keep you on the edge of your seat. The superb writing and complex characters make this exciting story a pleasure to read. Don't miss out. One-click “Werebear's Nanny”.

Ok for its type.

The story of a young, divorced woman, Cynthia, who takes a position as a nanny on an island. What she doesn't know is that the population of the island are all werebears! The situation becomes embarrassing when she discovers that the father of the child in need of a nanny didn't know that she was coming. It was his sister who advertised the position. Eventually the father, Tyrell, accepted that his daughter needed a nanny and they came to an agreement for her to stay. This didn't change the fact that she was completely unaware that the population were werebears. In addition, there was a man who hated her for being human, another who was convinced that she was his mate and the fact that she was falling for her employer. It was a recipe for disaster!
Not bad for its type.
There are a number of short stories at the end of the book which some may find interesting.

I really enjoy TS Ryder's books. I have quite a few. It took a bit to see that it is a book that follows Mated to Four Werebears. These bear shifters live on an island and are not known to humans. Until one human arrived and brought the 4 groups of bears together to make the island a better place. Now another human female has arrived, and Cynthia is going to be a nanny to a single father of a little girl. Her arrival not only shocks the other werebears but Tyrell himself. He is positive that he did not advertise for a nanny. His sister set him up, now what? She knows nothing of shifters, and she gave up everything to come. Cynthia is able to stay and Tyrell is falling for her, and she can not get enough of him. But outside forces are against them, can she survive it, and what happens when she learns the truth? Good story, Lots of action and sexy times.

It took me a little while to get into this one, but I enjoyed it.
The cause of Tesla's anger toward Tyrell is not explained for way too long. I don't know if it was explained in the first book of the series or not. Ruby's actions in bringing a human to the island for a job without informing her of the unique nature of the residents should have resulted in some repercussions for her in my opinion. Maybe that will be addressed in a later book.
Personally, I think spending your life savings to journey to a job on an island based on email only communication is not the smartest plan in the world, even if you are running from a bad divorce. However, I do like that she toughed out the initial reception.
And then there is the shifter politics to contend with, as not everyone agrees with how things are changing.
This is a voluntary review of an advance copy. It's 180 pages long.

Cynthia has been hired to be the nanny to Tamara a werebear infant, only Tyrell ( the baby’s father has no idea his sister has hired her !!). But one look at Cynthia holding his daughter has Tyrell going back on his “no humans ever in his home “!! But there is one huge ship wreck ahead; Rex; Tamara’s uncle and hater of Tyrell and new found “love interest in Cynthia”, comes to throw rocks into their nice small family get together. Things only get worse when a man from town who hates all humans turns into his bear in front of Cynthia, scaring her like crazy, running her straight into Rex’s arms !! Lot’s of twists and turns, fighting for Cynthis’s Hand in marriage and a few other morbid little bits and pieces !! 4✨‘s due to some editing problems. Story itself is great !! Hot and sexy werebears Everywhere !!

When Tyrell's sister Ruby goes behind his back to hire a nanny for his daughter things get complicated. Cynthia is human and doesn't know about shifters. As the two enter into a "no strings relationship", things get even more complicated. When you add in a rival for Cynthia's affections and someone who doesn't want "outsiders" on the island, it's not only Cynthia's heart on the line. How will Cynthia react to the existence of shifters? Will Tyrell listen to his bear and his heart or lose Cynthia forever? While this is the second book in "The Bear Shifter Island" series it can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading book one also.

We return to the island after another devastating loss to the werebear clans. Ruby decides that Tyrell needs a nanny to help out with his 5 year old daughter so she has more time for college in the coming years. Problem is, she didn't tell Tyrell and let the nanny think she was he.
Cynthia is getting out of a bad marriage and needs a new start to her life where she can live for herself and not everyone else. Being a nanny on a remote island off California seems like as good a place as any to start. But she arrives to find a man with secrets...maybe too many secrets.
Loved it! Maybe even more than the first one...I'll have to go back and read them both again to decide.

This book kept me wanting to finish it. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of a few spots, but mostly I didn't care for the first time they had sex. We have Tyrell and Rex who do not get along since Angela died five years ago. Tyrell has been raising his and Angela's baby Tamara, but will not let Rex see her until he gets help. Ruby Tyrell's sister hires a nanny for him and things start getting interesting. Cynthia is divorced and looking for a new start in life. She takes the nanny position and now she is having feelings for them. What will happen? Will Tyrell win her heart? Will Rex win her heart? Will she except that they are bear shifters? Will she just leave because of all their actions? I received an ARC copy for my honest review.

Cynthia took a job as a nanny after leaving her husband and collage. When she arrived she and meet the man who she thought had hired her but it turned out it was his sister. Tryell is second to one of the four Alpha's of the island had never been mated but had a daughter who's mother had past away. He couldn't believe his sister had gone behind his back but see the befits of having nanny. This two people aren't looking for love but fate has other idea's. Only problem is that others have idea's of who should be on the island meaning no humans only shifters and they cause trouble for all. great read, love the story line that continues from the first book.

This is a intriguing book to read and I really enjoyed reading it. This book is about: a single father/werebear (Tyrell), his daughter (Tamara) and a human female (Cynthia) who is looking for a new start in life. What you will find in this book is: werebears, human females, drama, intrigue, twists & turns, manipulations, secrets, hatred, bigotry, feuds, enemies, danger, conflict, surprises, lust, passion, love and some steamy scenes. The story-line and plot is well-thought out and written. The characters have individual personalities and react emotionally to various situations they find themselves in. I would recommend this book.

4 Stars.

Good storyline, but for some reason I felt the book as a whole missed something. Maybe more of a connection with Tyrell and Cynthia in the beginning of their relationship. More experiences of them bonding, not just sexually, together. I found it odd that neither of them hardly hinted they had any true feelings for each other until so late in the book. Yes, they had sex and off handed fleeting thoughts but both maintained the whole "just sex and nothing more" and then all of a sudden it's "I love you and cant live without you."
Again, the book isn't bad, just with the story had more "meat".

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Werebear's Nanny by T.S. Ryder is a second in series. I did not read the first book and was definitely not lost in this one. There are spoilers in this book, so read them in order to get the most out of the read. I enjoyed the read even though I am not a big "harem" fan. This book focuses on Cynthia and Tyrell's story, which I found to be a little rushed. There was a lot of action, steamy sex and not enough Tamara. But overall, the book is a quick read that definitely entertains. There are also a plethora of bonus books included, a little something to appeal to everyone.

The second book is out about those crazy bears on their island. This time it is Tyrell's story and how he meats and falls for Cynthia a human. It was funny and normal at the same time as 2 people fall for each other, have a big misunderstanding, and end up together at the end. Add in crazy family, friends, and pack mates, you get a fun story that kept e reading until the end. Plus characters from the first book show up too. Just a well written easy to read story that I have chosen to review.

I was lost in the first chapter but kept going. Finally caught up when Cynthia was at Tyrell's house for the nanny's job. Tamara was a cute little girl and Ruby (Tyrell's sister) was always there for them. However, Cynthia was not a favorite of mine. Her irresponsible and selfish actions caused most of her problems. Neanderthal traditions were also so out of place. Who fights for a woman whether she wants them or not. I liked the story but, Cynthia not so much. Not bad

I kind of liked the first book a bit better. The main female character grated on my last nerve. I got turned off by her at the beginning of the book and I found it difficult to finish. Solid writing and an okay story line. I did not like how how Rex, second male character was portrayed he was all over the place almost bipolar, and go figure he was a polar bear. Tyrell, main male lead was okay and was pretty steady and solid. Overall okay, but I would not go out of my way to read it. Happy reading.

This is the second book in the series. I wanted to give the author another chance. Unfortunately this book was pretty disappointing as well. There were a lot of the same issues with editing and content. this book had a little bit more character development but it was still lacking. Amazon wouldn't let me leave a review for this book either. The title story is also only 25% of the overall book. There are several other titles included in this book.

Life changing decisions, control, dealing with discrimination, acceptance, and realization of love, are all the issues facing this nanny. And the werebear, Tyrell, that Cynthia works for? He needs to get his head focused and accept how he feels for his little girls nanny. Stressed me out a bit thinking the outcome might be what I hoped for wouldn't happen, but couldn't be happier for the ending. Great story and keep the fan on cause it's really hot in these pages.

I loved this book. It's the second book in a series and really carried on from the first book well.
But can't think of anything else to write because of the following:

But what I really didn't like was the fact that the book finished at 2947 and then there were other books that finished at 12401.
It's sometimes nice the get an epilogue or two at the end of a book, or a chapter of the next book in a series, but 11 books??!! Can't find it written anywhere that is has extra content.
All it says is it's a full length stand alone novel of 55000 words. Well I have a kindle and it doesn't give me a word count, but does that include the extra books?

Families are important, so are secrets, and when a secret is exposed a family suddenly has more trouble than it wants.

This is not just a romance it also touches on family divisions, mental illness, and racist behaviour in the community. The most important takeaway is that love can mend a heck of a lot if you open up to it. This is a good strong writer well worth reading, the only flaws were a lot of typos that her proofreader missed.

My Opinion

This book was bad. I mean really bad. I think the heroine was stupid. Not silly or young just inexcusable stupid. The whole book was stupid. The characters were stupid. The reasons why they did what they did in the book were for stupid reasons. In other words this book just wasn't well thought out. I think writing this book without consulting an unbiased friend was STUPID! I can't and won't recommend .

I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
The characters + storytelling were very captivating
This new job was a chance for a new star for Cynthia,
Tyrell just needed a nanny for his daughter.
He did not expect that his mate will show up instead.
Now what will these two do ?
The storytelling + the character's build were awesome!
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!

It was ok. The most frustrating part was there were a few inconsistencies. Some spots almost seemed like they were added later and the rest of the page wasn’t altered to match.

For example, the character got scratched down their back. In the next paragraph everyone was patting them on the back, and someone offered them an ice pack. A bear just mauled them and they need an ice pack?

Cute story but inconsistent at times.
