I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It was a quick short enjoyable read. who doesn't love a man who loves dogs, I personally love them, it shows generosity and that they are caring.

This was another great read. However, I'm not surprised I've been enjoying all of these so far. This one is about a guy named Kane and he is in love with his best friends sister. Of course at first that doesn't go well but like in all of them they get a HEA.

Kane is an older man and a great cop with the most fantastic police canine ever called Malia. He rescued her when he was on holiday in Alaska - paid for her training the lot and she is as devoted to him as he is to her! She is also possessive of him and doesn't like any woman he brings round till he meets Quinn again. Now he's on a stakeout for a drug mule when he realises with Malia's help , just in time, NOT to tazer the 'suspect because it's Quinn - his best friend's little sister who isn't so little any more. In fact, she's grown up into the most delectable and stunning young woman that he wants to wrap up and have for himself alone. She's wearing the same clothes as the suspect so she points them in the right direction and they catch the drug mule. But his captain is mad at him for not following orders and he is suspended! Unbelievable! However, it does mean that he has time to pursue Quinn and make sure that she's on board with being HIS forever. Her brother might have something to say about it but she's more important. Instant love and oh such a glorious read that only Flora Ferrari can give. She composes the most compelling stories of instant love around and makes her characters so likeable, loveable, realistic and fun in witty storylines that draw you in and keep me coming back for more. Kane and his malamute puppy, Malia, from the K9 unit wait by the Golden Gate Promenade for a jogger that their intel says will be transferring a backpack full of pure cocaine, along with a USB device containing trafficking routes and cartel member names to another jogger. Sergeant Smith told him both joggers would cross in front of him in 30 seconds. They are ready for the take-down, but Malia does not tense up, ready for the attack! Something is wrong. Kane trusts his dog and does not Taser the jogger who turns out to be his best friend’s little sister, Quinn, who is just in the wrong place at the wrong time! Instead, he goes after his backup who is about to Taser her when he doesn’t, and he takes down Sutton instead!

Although Kane ends up suspended, he was able to reconnect with a now grown-up Quinn. He faces a difficult time having to run this by his best friend. Will Kane and Quinn decide to go for a relationship? Will her brother stop them? And what will happen to Malia when the department wants to take her from Kane and put her in a kennel until they figure everything out?

This was a short, enjoyable story. The story line was adorable, mostly because of Malia who is probably the heroine that everyone will love! The pacing is good and the couple have great chemistry together. It’s definitely worth reading!

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Quinn and Kane. Kane is out on assignment to take down a player with major information on a drug cartel trying to worm their way into San Francisco. During this bust he is supposed to take down the target that is in a specific set of clothing. However something is off Malia isn't in attack mode like she would be on a suspect. Then he sees her and he knows not only is she not involved but he has just found the woman he is meant for. Quinn has always wanted her brother's best friend but the age difference made it impossible in the past. Now that she is working in San Francisco same as him she wonders if she will have the courage to look him up. However a random bust while she is trying to take a run bring them face to face. They both wonder will they get the HEA or will her brother be in their way this time?

This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will tell you this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. Who wouldn't want to read a love story with an adorable dog in it. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Kane is on a stake out for work with his k-9 dog when they are getting ready to take down the suspect and he recognizes that its his best friend's sister. When Quinn realizes what is happening she points them in the right direction to get their suspect. Kane ends up in troubles because his boss thinks he ruined their stake out even though they got their target. When Kane's dog is instantly warm towards Quinn it stuns Kane because Malia hasn't liked and of the women that Kane has brought around. Kane is very aware of Quinn and wants to claim her for his own so he knows that he needs to try and go slow in his pursuit of her. After spending one day with her Kane knows that he needs to speak to her brother. Quinn is surprised by how possessive Kane is acting with her but it doesn't put her off him. Can they be together without it causes problems with her brother?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Kane and Quinn is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the romance between an older man named Kane and a younger woman named Quinn. Kane and Quinn's brother are best friends. When Kane is working a stakeout, the suspect is dressed the same as Quinn, who was out jogging. When the police go to arrest Quinn, Kane stops them and then they arrest the right woman. Kane saw Quinn and he knew she was his, he decided to give her a call later to talk. Kane asked her to go to the dog park with him and his dog Malia. Malia acts like she is protective of Quinn and Kane knows it is a sign they were meant to be. Quinn always had a crush on Kane and used to love watching him play football with her brother. When Kane tells her how he feels, she agrees and wants to with him also. This is another steamy read from Flora. I love the older man/ younger woman instant love stories. This was another great one. I loved Kane and the relationship he had with Malia. Great one.

Loved it

Kane connects with his best friends little sister, Quinn, when on an under cover bust, his K-9 Malia refuses to attack. He.knows Quinn is not the suspect they are looking for. He ends up suspended, but happy to be able to reconnect with Quinn.
Quinn is a computer engineer and can't believe her brothers best friend, and secret crush just rescued her from being arrested as a drug mule. He said he.would call her.
When Kane saw.Quinn for the first time since she was 15, he knew she was who he was waiting for. Now he is going to make her his. First he is going to let.Quinton know. Wether he likes it or not Quinn will be his.
Sweet.and a.little steamy older.man brother best friend romance. With a great epilogue. Though I was disappointed that the epilogue wasn't a baby Kasey grew up to marry baby Kevin, 25 or so years later.
I love Flora's books. They are an automatic buy for me. I know I will get a great story.

This story is no different from all the others Flora has written - They are just FANTASTIC!!

How Flora manages to deliver such delicious morsels every time to us readers, really does make my real life much brighter & I'm always left smiling!

The instant I read the first page of this novella, I fell head over heels in love with Kane. Malia came a very close second! But when Quinn comes into the picture, that's when the fireworks truly happen!

The chemistry between Kane & Quinn is off the charts & leaves no doubt as to the HEA that awaits at the end. I got completely immersed within this book & the ever-great writing of this Author.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone - It's a magical must-read!

Well Done Flora. As usual, I cannot get enough & really look forward to the next book with trepidation!

I really enjoyed this book. Kane and Quinn's story. The fact that it was based in San Francisco just added to the enjoyment. I grew up not very far from there and so I know the area. I also own a malamute and husky dog and Malia reminds me of him. This story was so cute. Not only did it have the elements Ms Ferrari is known for. The older man/younger woman story but it also had a story about an alpha male who wants to protect not only people in general but the woman he quickly falls for. Though she is no stranger to him. He is her brothers best friend and is man enough to make sure his friend is okay with he and Quinn being together. The dog Malia was so cute. A really good read with a great HEA.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. This is another wonderful story about an older man and younger woman, in this case she is his best friend's little sister. Kade is a cop who has a K9 companion Melia. He's on a stakeout one day when he sees Quinn for the first time in a while, she's dressed like the assailant they are looking for. Quinn is an engineer for Facebook and is living in San Fransisco. When Kade spots her during the bust, his supervisor is mad because he didn't arrest her. Both have had their feelings hidden for a long time. Heck even Melia likes her. Follow them as they take the leap of faith and jump into a relationship. Even her brother comes around.

This short romance was short and sweet with a bit of sexy thrown in.
I like the addition of Kane’s trusted and loyal malamute, Malia and how she adds to the storyline.

The beginning chapters were fun to read. This story was a little different. After Kane has his instant “she’s the one” epiphany, he rushes off to let his best friend and Quinn’s older brother know before anything really happens between them.

I really liked the integrity Kane reveals as it shows how much their friendship means to him and more importantly, shows how much he respects Quinn and their relationship.

Of course it seems like all of this happens in a blink of an eye! This really was an instant romance!

First things first; I love the cover to this book. I really liked this story. I liked that Kane wasn’t willing to arrest Quinn when he knew she was innocent. He risked his job because of his actions.
I liked that once he was reunited with Quinn, he knew she was the woman for him. Quinn was Kane’s best friends little sister. They had known each other for years but had lost contact. When they were reunited, they both couldn’t fight their attraction to one another. I loved Malia and I loved that she liked Quinn instantly.
The chemistry between Quinn and Kane was clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really liked the ending of this story. The addition of Mark the malamute – Malia’s doggy boyfriend was super cute.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read.

This book is quick read. I have always loved the older men/younger women books. Quinn and Kane have known each other for years. since Kane is Quinn's brother's best friend. Quinn moves out to San Francisco to work for Facebook. Kane and his k-9 partner a malamute names Malia were in the middle of a drug sting operation. When Quinn jogs into the trap area wearing the same type of outfit as the perpetrator. Kane saves Quinn from dangers of the operation, but not matters of the heart. Quinn and Kane quickly fell in love and the rest is history.

This story surprised me. I was caught from the first to last page. The humour, chemistry, friendship, passion and possessiveness was amazing. I loved it. The characters felt real and that made the story even better. The partnership with the dog was so well written and only gave a lot more to the story. I know Malamutes because I breed them, so I was curious about this dog character, but it was just like the read breed. Absolutely a story that has it all.
Flora Ferrari has done it again. I am not used to give five star reviews to such short stories but this one really deserves it.
Absolutely amazing and captivating read.

Floras new book is off the charts hot. I loved this book the story is great and full of action. Kane is on a stake out with his k9 cop, when he gets to Quinn she points him where he needs to be. His k9 Malia takes an instant liking to Quinn which shocks Kane as Malia has not liked any of the women he has introduced her to. Kane wants to own Quinn and becomes very possessive the only problem he has is that Quinn is the younger sister of his best friend. Will there be problems in their relationship from Quinns brother, and can they truly be together.

Kane and his K-9 are working a drug bust near the pier, when he realizes that his fellow officer is about to tase his best friend's little sister and takes the other officer down. Quinn notices another woman that looks a little like her and points her out to Kane who relays the info to the other officers. Grab this beautiful story today and find out what happens when Kane gets a blast from the past and now she's his and he will prove it to her!

Quinn has always thought her brother's best friend was hot now they are in the same city maybe they have a chance. Kane is on a drug bust but his K9 Malia isn't paying attention maybe it is because Quinn as inadvertently stumbled into the drug bust, he will do whatever he needs to to protect her even if that ends up with him on leave. After all he has found the woman that is his and he is never letting her go. Malia is a bonus in this wonderful older man younger woman story

Quinn has always had a thing for her brother's best friend, but figured it was not a possibility. Kane cannot help his split second feelings and decides nothing else matters. Even his dog approves. Will Quinn's brother get in their way? Will Kane get the girl that he wants?

I loved how these two had a connection, but there was more in it. I loved how Kane was with his dog and then how he was determined to not let anything get in his way of what they both wanted. Loved how Quinn had held out hope and finally got the man she dreamed of. Great read!

Kane is best friends with Quinn's older brother. When he is supposed to intercept a runner to arrest for drugs and information on a flash drive, he says no because he knows who she is Quinn! That alone has his heart pounding because he knows that she is his. Malia his K-9 is in agreement because she is not chomping at the bit. Now all he has to do is get Quinn on board and her brother's blessings. Will everything go as planned for Kane and he gets the girl?

In the middle of a drug bust Kane encounters Quinn his best friend's little sister and realizes she is meant to be his.His K-9 Malia who normally reacts badly to woman also recognizes her as theirs but how will Quinn's brother respond to his wish to marry her. He drives all night to ask her brother for permission to marry her but is nervous about the outcome. An age gap romance to relax and enjoy.

A quick read which moves fast, a little too fast in a few places for me personally, however I went with it and enjoyed the story. There were a few parts of the story that I felt could have been expanded, been developed a bit more, but I did enjoy the relationships, the chemistry, the honesty, the acceptance and of course the K9!

Well nothing better than reading a Flora Ferrari book with two the hotter olderman and sexy younger women but throw in a beautiful doggie and I am so there. I love dogs and a love a sexy older man. Dogs are always going to let you know if someone is good or not and boy does this baby know who’s good for him. Favorite so far

An enjoyable well written short story. Quinn moved to San Francisco to work for Facebook and almost falls into a trap of a drug operation sting. Kane K-9 cop recongnizes her as his best friends younger sister and knows she is not the prep. A romantic awesome story. I love how Kane respects his friend asking permission. Another must read Flora always does a wonderful job.

I absolutely loved this book! Kane is a sexy alpha cop, who while on a sting with his K-9 partner Malia spot Quinn. The instant claim on the woman he’s known as his best friends sister is smoking hot, and he’s been her fantasy for years. A really fast pace compelling read that hooked me from start to finish. Amazing characters who know what they want and go for it.
