The preface was enough to make me dislike this book. The author refers to Susan Sontag's quotes "American version of concentration camps for it's Japanese American Citizens (sic) and "evidence of crimes they had committed against fellow citizens."
Whatever. The rest of the book isn't bad but the hostile political message in the preface was unprofessional and should have been left out of what is supposed to be a biography of Lange and her work.
