Beverly Hills, 1986

It’s a great time for talented shifters; even more so for Blane Vinson, Hollywood’s hottest actor.

Everyone is vying for this dragon’s attention, from fans to celebrities, and directors are clamoring for him to star in their films. It’s a busy life, but it’s one he can handle thanks to his tenacious -- and fetching -- personal assistant, Courtney.

Courtney, however, knows she’s not living the life she wants.

Being Blane’s assistant is just a means of getting her foot in the door until she can go to back to college and become an entertainment lawyer.

For now, she has to put up with her self-indulgent boss who rarely even pours himself a cup of coffee. Yet she can’t deny the way his charms make the dragon inside her stir.

But when a baby dragon is left on Blane’s doorstep -- along with a note saying he’s her father -- both of their lives begin to change, with Blane being blasted in the tabloids and -- Courtney taking on the additional role of his nanny.

Both must come together to care for Amanda, but when they do, will the adorable blue-eyed child also be the catalyst that unites their hearts?

Blane’s Nanny is a 30,000 word standalone novella with steamy shifter scenes intended for readers 18+.

An enjoyable read with Shifters and mates, and trouble around every corner. Nothing will keep these mates.

The pages kept turning because I wanted to know what happened.

These books are quick and easy reads.

A STEAMY, suspenseful paranormal novella destined to be an epic READERS’ FAVORITE!
“BLANE’S NANNY” is an awesome paranormal romance about a Hollywood dragon shifter who is also an A-list movie star! In a parallel world where shifters are an accepted part of life on Earth, Blane is a popular A-list actor and player whose life has been managed for the last two years through the incredible skills of his personal assistant, Courtney. I fell in love with Courtney within the first few pages because of her selfless energy and responsibility. However, life takes a bit of a turn when an infant girl is left on Blane’s doorstep. Rather than deal with it effectively, he leaves for his day at the studio, working on his latest blockbuster film, leaving his efficient assistant to take the lead on “all things baby.” From that point on, hold on to your seats, because that is the only thing that will remain “expected!” “BLANE’S NANNY,” Meg Ripley’s latest release simply astounded me with one unexpected twist and turn after another. Ripley’s prose, as always, was eloquent, descriptive and flowed easily so that I could focus on the amazingly developed characters around whom “BLANE’S NANNY” was centered. I love stories with babies because they bring out the best and worst about both people and characters. Blane Vinson and Courtney Welsh were no exception to this rule, but readers will have to get their own copies of “BLANE’S NANNY” to find out what was best, what was worst, and what was so surprising about this compelling paranormal story. It is worth the cost of admission at any price as “BLANE’S NANNY” is the BEST of the titles included in Ripley’s series about “Beverly Hills Dragons.” I have read all three, and each has been better than the last. I STRONGLY suggest you purchase your copy of TITLE today, you will not be disappointed. The pages are filled with romance, relationships and the power of love! I voluntarily read “BLANE’S NANNY” and this is my honest voluntary review. I do not generally award more than 4 stars for a novella because of their short length; however, “BLANE’S NANNY” is getting that extra ½ STAR because it is SO GOOD! Happy pages! 😉

Courtney Welsh stepped out on the crowded deck and looked around for her boss, Blane Vinson. He was quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s popular actors. A blonde stood close to him, unaware that he would move on to the next woman before his fans even figured out her name. Courtney’s job as his assistant for the past two years was not an easy one; with increasing fame, Blane was even more difficult to deal with. She told him once again that he made himself too accessible to fans and reporters which could be dangerous, despite his being a shifter. She was again questioning how long she could continue in this job, not meeting her real dream of becoming an entertainment lawyer. At least the job let her save money for her education and put her in proximity of the celebrities who would one day be her clients.

With a horrible hangover, Blane could not even get out of bed. But Courtney came storming into his room and handed him some clothes. He wasn’t going to be on time for the rescheduled filming, but she was trying to at least get him on the set. As he made his way downstairs and opened the door to get to the limo, he saw a basket of blankets in front of him. He read the note attached telling him this was his baby daughter, Amanda, and her mother could no longer care for the shifter baby. Fortunately Courtney was right behind him. She picked up and cuddled the child, read the note, and took charge as she always had. Whether Blane realized it or not, this life-altering event would require some serious changes in his life and a new awareness of how much Courtney really meant to him. Were they up to the challenge? Would they face this together or would Blane be alone for the first time?

This was a really good story. It was fun to watch the change from party guy to responsible grown up dad – but not without lots of help. Throw in the added distress of dealing with a stalker, and the pressure is ON! The reader will not want to miss this one!

Blane is a dragon shifter out in the open for all to see at the cinema. he's a bit of a playboy holding extravagant parties on his yacht and basically doing as he pleases. Don't get me wrong. He is a generous man with not a mean bone in his body. he's also alpha male and gorgeous. At least most women think so apart from his assistant, Courtney, who just ignores as best she can how lovely he is as she is keeping him on track and organised so he is where he should be at the appropriate time and everything runs smoothly in his life. But she's only there till she makes enough money to leave and go to college - he doesn't know this. However, one morning there is a knock at the door and a baby in a basket is there with a note telling him that the baby is his. He just can't remember who could be the mother! What is Blaine to do?? Who could possibly help him?? Maybe Courtney could act as the nanny too?? Well maybe if the money is right - that way she can get to college quicker. Blaine soon realises one important thing - he can't do without Courtney and he starts really seeing her for the first time. This is a lovely romance that is so well written by Meg Ripley. It isn't an instant love romance but one where the characters have known each other for a few years and it's only when they come into contact more closely that emotions start to get involved. A great storyline that made me laugh at times and certainly kept me riveted to my kindle till I'd finished the book. i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Beverly Hills Dragons series. In this book, actor Blane is getting ready to head out to his job at the studio where he is filming a new movie when he finds a baby on his doorstep with a note she is his daughter. Blane has no idea who the mother could be and leaves quickly, leaving Courtney, his assistant to care for the baby, Amanda. Courtney does everything for Blane but she has no idea what to do with Amanda. Courtney dreams of going to law school and was working to save money. When Blane tells her he will double her salary to be a nanny also, she thinks it will be quicker to her dream. Courtney calls for helpful advice from a friend and soon she has everything the baby needs. Courtney was left an orphan when she was young and Amanda brings up past feelings. Courtney wants to care for the baby because of her past. Blane misses Courtney when he is at work and starts to realize everything Courtney does for him. When Blane starts to care for the baby also, they fall into a routine. Blane also starts to have feelings for Courtney. I liked this book. I think Blane was an immature playboy and the baby made him grow up. I also think Courtney had feelings for Blane and caring for the baby made her want more in her life. Good one.

ONE MIND BLOWING READ!!!
Wow! Talk about hitting where it hurts. Meg nailed this little jewel completely. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs, unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises around every corner make for one magnificent experience. As the drama, shock, heartache, mystery and suspense increase and tension soars as the plot thickens. A strong and amazing storyline that will captivate and hold your attention until the last word. This is one emotional rollercoaster with so much feelings and pulling those heartstrings. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. The two main characters have such depth and individuality it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Meg did a remarkable job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Awesome job Meg, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

Blaine;s career as a movie star has just sky rocketed. Parties, women and all the glitz that goes with the title of movie star. To be kept on an even keel, he has a lovely assistant, Courtney. She balances his life with a few hiccups here and there but it;s not something she can;t handle. Until the day someone leaves a bay on Blaine;s doorstep with a note stating this little bundle is his. What does a hot as heck dragon movie star know about babies! So he turns to his trusty sidekick, I mean assistant, and asks her to handle it. Again what does Courtney know about babies! So she turns to her friend for help. Now Blaine and Courtney are caught up in raising a baby and what they both don;t know can be .....well read the story and find out.

Another winner to her Beverly Hills Dragons series

Courtney, a celebrity personal assistant, has just about had it with Blane, a prominent actor and her boss, when he is late to the set after she warned him to not party as hard. As the story progresses a surprise brings about change, tempers flare and his adoring public creates additional stress. Meg Ripley has added another winner to her Beverly Hills Dragons series with Blane's Nanny. The amount of work she must put in to create such lovable characters, realistic yet fantasy based worlds and believable scenarios is beyond appreciated by this reader. I look forward to seeing where she takes me next.

I could totally sympathise with Courtney's work situation being that I also work for a boss that is self-absorbed and totally clueless only she has the advantage that her boss is hot and makes her a little weak at the knees. I really enjoyed the characters, especially Blane's metamorphosis after Amanda comes into his life. Courtney and Blane's journey is not a simple one, it is not only a tale of two people, each with their own set of reservations and emotional baggage, trying to find a way to fit into each other's lives and hearts but also a tale of two people who have to face a crazed stalker and deal with the sudden appearance of a baby in their lives. Will Courtney have to put her dreams on hold or is it actually possible to have it all?

This was another great read written by this fantastic author, Meg Ripley! The chemistry was there and I loved how at the end, everyone got their happy ending and a family altogether :) It was beautiful to witness the progression from single, party man to family man and realizing that the love of your life has always been there but you were blind to it until that person is there to support and help you when a life-changing event happens, which is your baby being left to you and you had no idea that you even had a baby until that moment. Sincerely, loved that whole plot-line and let's see what story is next from this author :)

Another hit dragon shifter story! I enjoyed this book immensely. It had all the right elements - romance, humour, suspense and a delightful little surprise left on the doorstep - a cute baby! This story is engaging and entertaining, with just the right amount of steamy romance. The chemistry between Courtney and Blane is off the charts, even when they are disagreeing. I read this story in one sitting - it was that good! Fantastic read!

I didn't know what to expect from this story to be honest, but I was really surprised and impressed. I loved everything about the characters and the plot. It had a little bit of everything: a clueless guy, a too-serious girl, drama, suspense, action, love, hot scenes shifters and babies.
Nothing was amissed and because of that I couldn't put the story down at all. It is a very well written book that deserves to be read by many.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Oh my, this is definitely a case of not seeing what was right in front of him the whole time. Blane has had Courtney as his assistant for a couple years now, but didn't realize how much this spunky dragon shifter does for him until a a baby girl turns up on his doorstep as his daughter. Courtney steps in to look after the beautiful baby and soon helps him with a stalker and then creeps into his heart.

A wonderful well-written story, great memories of the 80s. Highly entertaining story.

Another on the edge of your seat paranormal romance from the ‘Beverly Hills Dragons’ series! Amazing storyline filled with suspense, stalking, twists and turns, and will hook you from page one. The plot is consistent, interesting, engaging, and the story moves along at a brisk pace. Blane and Courtney complete each other though it took them awhile to realize it - the chemistry between them is hot, and off the charts. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful Paranormal Romance and a great addition to the Beverly Hills Dragons Series. The storyline is well-written, with steam, intrigue, crazy stalkers, a successful dragon shifter actor and his very talented personal assistant. The attraction is definitely there but the h does her best not to be swallowed up by the H's charisma and charm. When a surprise is dropped on the doorstep there are changes that must be made. This is the journey to their HEA.

Really?

Not only not believable, it was not engrossing.
I’m not talking of the shifter part. She worked for him as assistant and he didn’t know she wanted to go to law school? She didn’t want to ask his lawyer for advice? Flawed. She first is written as confident, bold and capable person. Not only would she have asked she would have picked client to get closer to lawyer to get him to mentor her.
Many other issues. Main is attraction? Where was it except for the sudden and unbelievable night.

Enter Courtney, keeping track of Blane's life is a step in the right direction for her future.

Good short read. Courtney and Blane's Life are so different. Blane is a actor, who only wants to party. Courtney is his personal assistant. She does so much for him, that we don’t know if he can do anything on his own. Then one day they get a surprise. What will they do? Can Blane settle down to handle? Courtney have to deal with this too? Can Courtney deal with this too? What about this stalker?

He is a dragon shifter and he is living the high life due to be a famous actor as everyone wants to know him. She is his assistant but it is just a mean to an end. She wants to be a lawyer. Then a baby is left on his doorstep with a note saying the baby is his. Now she is to become a nanny. Can working together get them to the other in a different way? See how it all will go

I liked this one, as she was already right under Blanes nose! I liked this series, as it is different from the other Beverley Hills Dragon series, how you ask, you’ve just gotta read to find out. Hmm I wonder who will need a Nanny next, maybe Blanes sister!! I definitely recommend and yes, it does have an HEA.

I love this series and enjoyed this book but I did not like the way that the characters got together. Courtney worked for Blane as an assistant until a baby appeared to his doorsteps. They were never attracted to each other and all of a sudden there is this sudden love. I would have loved to see it from the beginning.

Unexpected turns really can change things, but it's all for the better for Blaine and Courtney. She was meant to just be his assistant but becomes his nanny baby is dropped off claiming he's the father. The dynamic between Blaine and Courtney shows that they have a lot of chemistry and it's fantastic to see how they function in this new situation. A wonderful romance with a lot of heart, I enjoyed this from start to finish. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

dragons galore

A sweet but sexy shifter romance . A self centred actor and his personal assistant , an abandoned baby ,a stalker who will not take no for an answer sounds like a recipe for disaster . A well written story that is fun and frustrating and will keep you entertained from start to finish

I loved this book and I think this might be the best series by Meg. Courtney and Blaine are fantastic together, I love how Courtney takes on stalker Kim. Blaine just can't seem to grow up but it only takes a day for everything to apparently change. They are cute together. This book is another winner by Meg Ripley.

Under his nose...

Although this is the third book in the series it can be read as a standalone. Ms. Ripley did a wonderful job showing how one moment in time can completely change a person. She also reinforced the fact that sometimes what you really need is under your nose all along.
