The premonition is clear. Demons are coming for Cassidy, and once her blood has been spilled humanity will be lost. Not only has Tyler been tasked with assassinating Cassidy, but killing her will be the last step he needs to take in order to become a full demon.

Killian knows this and vows to keep Cassidy safe, but not everything is as it seems. Figuring out who to trust, who to confide in isn’t easy. With so much at stake one wrong move could mean the end of the human world, causing Cassidy and Killian to lose everything…even each other.

With a war raging between two sides, Cassidy and Tyler find themselves at the heart of battle between good and evil. She wants to save Tyler. He wants to kill her.

What will it take to restore the balance?

And will Cassidy be strong enough to make the ultimate sacrifice if it means saving the world?

I’m having a hard time writing this review. I’ve spent the last two years getting to know theses characters and to have to say goodbye is pretty tough. I consider it like saying goodbye to your favorite coworker because they got a new job some place else and life will never be the same. Instead of writing a long review telling you about how great this book is, I’ve decided to do things a little different today. By the way the book is beautifully written, the character development is phenomenal and it flows naturally that it is hard to put down.

Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I’m going to say goodbye to some of my best friends.

Killian, you walked into my life like a leather wearing badass. I fell in love with right away from your endlessly brooding to your undying compassion and love for your family and friends. You taught me that it is still ok to wear leather and a good snarky comment is always appreciated. My favorite moments are when you get things confused and struggle to understand life up top.

Cassidy, girl we have been through so much. I watched you struggle and grow far more than most characters I’ve ever read. We have gone through love and lost and look at you standing tall. I’ve been proud of you every step of the way. My favorite moments with you are when you start to embrace your new life and begin taking Krav Maga classes. That is the moment I knew we were going on a fantastic journey. I thought I would miss you the most but I’m not worried about you. You’ve got this.

Rya, you my dear are a terrific villain. I love your nastiness and you made things interesting. You have to be one of my favorite villains of all time.

Finally I need to say goodbye to my love Tyler. You are my favorite character and I enjoyed reading about you so much. I fell in love with you from the first time you had coffee with Cassidy. I watched you struggle to find good in everything. Your light shines pretty bright in my life and that light will be missed. My favorite moment with you is when you are understanding your roots and tattoos. It was special to me.

Overall, I will miss this series. I enjoyed being immersed in a world that I long for. I’ve always thought there was something magical about willow trees. I used to ask my mom to plant when I was little now I know that there might be a world with a little more magic between the bleeding willows.

If you are reading this review, you are probably wondering if this book stands up to the first two books. You loved the writing, the characters , and the world building of the first two books. Can the third one keep up?

YES, YES, And YES!

So many times i have been disappointed in the third book of a series, Not this time. In fact, this is my favorite of all three. I love how things connected and how the character's paths continued. So now that I answered your question, stop reading this and go read the book. See where Killian, Cassiday, Rya, and everyone else 's journey takes you .

Beneath A Sinister Moon - D A Roach

### 5 Huntilicious Hashtags ###

Another action packed adventure in this amazing trilogy.

DA Roach has a beautiful style of writing pulling you right into Cassidy's world and completely captivating you with the characters and their intense journey.

This really is YA paranormal at it's finest, each book in this series is fantastic and the story just gets better and better. Usually I like a bit of 'adult' in my paranormal reads, but this series really doesn't need it, the writing and storyline is strong and very addictive.

I loved the connection between Cassidy and Killian and I wanted so much more of their relationship, maybe we could see some spin-offs for some of the other characters? I'd love to know some of them much better.

This was first published on my blog " Lecture toute une Aventure"

Captivating, the author took her time to write this book but the wait was more than worth it as the quality is here . We do get our answers ( and if you don't read the epilogue it concludes perfectly).
Our characters are facing their greatest challenge so far and it's far from easy for them.....Cassidy is learning to master new powers while not giving up to her fears after being held by Rya.

Killian is seeing what he really want and must make decision for his clan yes but also for himself. . He must decide if he is willing to let Cassidy join him in the field or to protect her and that's a dilemma for him now even more than before. What he will be willing to sacrifice.

Tyler has choices to make while in demon realm. It was very interesting to see him interact with Jace ; how he was thinking without realizing it.

Then we get the rest of the team Lena, who lost points in my eyes, Casper who is even more my favourite now than before, Jax, Jackson and Skylar as well as all the others.

Really it's a excellent book, fast pace with several twist to keep you hooked. A real page turner with very interesting conclusion. Lot of action, moving moment, heartbreaking ones all very well balanced in the story.

The author did put an epilogue but like she warns reader if you want the story concluded with an HEA and no questions left unanswered just stop before reading it. .The epilogue is back being dark a bit confusing and opening a lot more questions ( for perhaps more books), it does fit the series but for me it was better without it.

This is an enjoyable, exciting read, the final book in the series, and I loved it! The story line is fast-paced, well-written and full of magic, rich world building, and well-defined characters so well described that the reader feels as if they have actually met them. The more you continue reading, the more it pulls you in and holds your attention. Many challenges are faced and decisions made for each of the characters.

I definitely recommend this book! The story line was good and the fast pace kept the reader fully engaged. The answers to so many questions will shoot off in all directions – you won’t want to miss this conclusion!

Woah!!

I loved this series! It is absolutely amazing! This book was very intense. There were so many sad moments throughout the story. My heart broke in so many different ways! But I was very happy with how everything turned out! I really loved how everything turned out with Cass and Killian. Casper is an amazing friend too. And let me just say Tyler WOAH. I can’t even. I was shocked with the ending. A must read!!

This was a good conclusion to the series. Cass and Killian fought their battles, Casper and Lena had their struggles. The whole Clan comes together as a family. Suspense, drama, love, and loss. D.A. sure knows how to tell a story!

D.A. Roach did a fabulous job with this book and the series. There is so much depth to the characters that you feel like you personally know them. It is action & magic packed. A few events had me tensed up saying "Oh No! That can't be happening." I really hate to see the series end.

I love a satisfying finale to a series, and Beneath a Sinister Moon hit the spot like Starbucks on a cold winter morning. This book left me invigorated with its unexpected twists and turns. If you've read the others in the series (and this is a must because it's a continuing story that builds with each book), you know that Cassidy seemed at first to be frowned upon by life. She was abandoned by a father she never knew. Her mother died soon after birth; her first real boyfriend died in a car accident. She had no other family than her grandmother, who died of a heart attack. Shortly after her boyfriend (Jace) died, she searched the accident scene hoping to recover a ring she had given him that had belonged to her mother, the only tangible heirloom she owned. In doing so, she literally stumbles upon a portal to a hidden world in a nearby cemetery and learns there's a centuries-old battle between good and evil playing out just beneath human awareness. She meets a clan of Demon Hunters who are in constant battle for their own survival against demons that roam our world and other dimensions. She develops relationships with the clan and becomes bonded to Killian, their leader. As the story progresses, we learn there is more to Cassidy's story that even she understands in that she carries the blood of angels in her veins. She learns Jace has been possessed by demons and vows to do what she can to save his soul. She develops a kinship with the clan and wants desperately to help them. Despite Killian's reluctance to allow her to place herself in danger, Cassidy persists. Eventually, she learns that her ancestry puts her at ground zero in this war, and she must fight in it whether Killian wants her to or not. Beneath a Sinister Moon resolves Cassidy's story in unexpected ways. (Sorry-no spoilers here...I'm a closed book. Lips zipped.)

Without giving away more details, I'll just say this series is full of action and suspense. Cassidy's story stayed with me long after I put the book down. She's like the rest of us in many ways as we struggle through the losses of life and find ourselves struggling against adversity. She's a strong, courageous young woman who may be afraid at times but faces that fear by ramping up her resolve and fighting skills. She presses on, not for power or glory, but for the love she has for her new found friends, whom she's grown to love as the family she once had. I highly recommend this engaging series

I'm not totally sure if this is the conclusion to The Demon Hunters Series, I mean it could be maybe, or I hope it isn't because I still have some questions left plus, I just don't want it to be honestly. However, it is the 3rd book in the series, so I don't want to be remiss in mentioning that you MUST READ Between the Bleeding Willows (Book 1), and Within the Darkest Hollows (Book 2) FIRST & IN ORDER! Now that I got that out of my system, I'll get on with it. There's a ton of things going on in Beneath a Sinister Moon, stuff that I can't really get into without spoilers, but seriously, you know that there are demons, and they suck. Then you know there are demon hunters, and they are the heroes, so of course it's chaos, because demons don't play fair at all! And at the center of the insanity of the other realm is Cassidy, and frankly, things are going sideways, with the leader of the demon hunters, Killian, trying too hard to protect her since killing her means humanity is over. That means there is drama drama and more drama on top of the crazy f-bomb worthy twists. There are more secondaries, with some even shocking me with some of their decisions, so again, twists upon layers of twists. And who knows who will be left standing at the end of the day! All I know is that the absolutely brilliant D.A. Roach knows how to pen a paranormal series that is highly addictive, with insane amounts of heart racing excitement, to which I can do no less than HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING TO ALL!

An amazing conclusion to this epic paranormal series! It did leave it open for the possibilities of more books but did conclude the main storyline from books 1 and 2.

I am in love with this series. Its clean enough for young adults to read but it doesn't shy away from the darker things. I mean it is about a group of people fighting demons. The characters are all very well rounded and even the secondary characters make you want to learn more about them.

This book just draws you in to where you lose time and cant put it down. I was so immersed in my reading that I found myself finishing the book in one sitting. I'm sad that this may be the end but so glad that I read it and fell in love with these amazing characters and this magical world.

D.A Roach has become one of my must reads. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good epic paranormal battle.

Wow this third book in the series was just so surprising and emotional, I never really thought that what happened to Killian and Tyler in this book was going to happen. I think that is why this book has become one of my favorite in the series! It had a little bit of everything to keep me interested and to keep me wanting to find out what was going to happen, so much so that in the first sitting I read most of the book before I stopped myself from finishing it because I really didn't want it to end. And I hope that Mrs. Roach will one day bring us more from the Demon Hunters because I know I would love to learn more about the other Hunters in this series! Thank you so much Mrs. Roach for giving me the opportunity to read this wonderful series, and I can't wait to read her other books!

This 3rd book in the series brought so much.
Laugher, curiosity, suspense, terror, tears and happiness.
I am so happy how she took this story and it’s so clever and intriguing but is there going to be more?
She left me craving more!

Oath of the Hunter
Blade in hand, courage in heart, in the name of our Father I swear,
To keep the balance between good and evil and protect and preserve human life.
And I shall stay strong in body, wise in mind, and faithful to the Clan and its allies,
This I swear on my life.

Um....

I'm I would have liked to give this book 5 stars but the ending left me confused. Now I read the authors warning for the epilogue but what has me confused is in the way it ended. To me it seems with the way she left it had me thinking there might be another book. The books were good so I definitely don't mind another. Beside that the books were good. I would definitely read more by this author.

Who will win the battle?

Good vs evil. Cassidy knows that she can save her friend Tyler from becoming completely lost. She has to try before it is too late as he is about to become full demon now that his tattoos are broken.Killian just want to keep her safe as he knows that they are coming for her. What will Cass need to do to save both of the men that she loves? Who will win the battle that is coming? The hunters or the demons?
A good read. Love the characters especially the main ones as the story really revolves around them.
