Coffee Book #1

Coffee Girl

Rate this book
Mackenzie “Kiki” Forbes finds herself in a pickle.

Either become her snarky sister’s nanny, or move halfway across the country to work as assistant-to-the-stylist of a country music star. Neither job sounds ideal, although bedazzling cowboy boots may be a hell of a lot more interesting than ironing her brother-in-law’s underwear. But life on the road as the errand coffee girl for a sold-out tour leaves much to be desired. That is, until Kiki meets her sinfully sexy new boss’s boss…

Tatum Reed’s career is flying high. He’s up for country music’s Entertainer of the Year and he’s headed out on a nationwide sold-out tour. So why does he feel like it’s all about to implode? His superstar ex-girlfriend seems determined to make his life difficult, his opening act is a handful, and the new girl on his tour, the feisty brunette, is quickly getting under his skin. In this crazy world of showbusiness Tatum needs to learn who he can trust, but that doesn’t come easily, because the one person who holds all the cards may just throw them down and walk away.

Life in the public eye is never all it’s cracked up to be, which has both Kiki and Tatum questioning what they’re really doing with their careers, and their hearts.

This was a funny and adorable romance story between Kiki Forbes and Tatum Reed. Kiki is hungover, single and recently unemployed. Tatum Reed is a hot country superstar going through a very public breakup of his superstar girlfriend and in a middle of a concert tour.

Kiki’s only options were to either work for her sister as a nanny where the job comes with a detailed manual on how to manage their household which includes ironing his brother in law’s underwear or work as an assistant to the stylist of the hottest country star, Tatum Reed.

I found this book enjoyable, sexy and fun, that I read in one afternoon. I needed something light and funny with quirky characters that I could really get into. I found that the banter and text messages completely adorable. It was easy to get into the story, and it was nice easy read I recommend.

As a fan of romantic comedies, this novel had everything that I could hope for in a story! It was a slow burn, both of the characters were likeable along with charasmatic, and the chemistry between them both was DYNAMIC. I couldn't help but root for them throughout the novel.

Along with romantic, this story was HOT! Seriously *fans self*. It was one heck of a steamy read which was made even more steamy through the chemistry that the characters shared. Did I say they were a dynamic duo already? Dynamic and dynamite!

Also, unbeknownst to me prior to reading, this novel featured one of my favourite things: country music. I regularly read novels including cowboys but I don't often read stories that involve country singers (especially with that being the male character's occupation). For me, that made the story even more different and exciting. It took something that I love in real life and fictionalized it in a way that kept me mesmerized.

This was a charming (yet sexy) romantic comedy that was so enjoyable to read. I can't help but be intrigued and interested in where the story will go in the second novel of the series--featuring a different couple! I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys steamy and humorous romantic comedies, but especially for those country music lovers out there like me!

Sometimes, at moments like this, I wonder why I don't more often read a new author.
It's refreshing to not expect anything and in the end, you like the story.

First, I have to say it's a great title.
I didn't understand the meaning until their first meet, but now... I find it's funny and adorable.

I love Sophie's writing style and the whole romance between Tatum & Kiki. Tate is so perfect for me!! That song, oh my god, love love love ♥♥♥
In the whole story, I only didn't like that Kiki is so insecure in herself, but I can understand her reasons. I already can't wait to read another story about Sarah & Lex!

This is one of those stories you end up with a smile on your face. I recommend 'Coffee Girl' for everyone who likes funny and light-hearted romance!

My thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a free ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Very well written. Many of the usual tropes but there has been an attempt to be more original with this material. For fans of rock star romances, this one's for you! I rate this one a 3.8 out of 5.

This was just the lighthearted, swoony, sweet romance I needed after reading a really emotionally heavy story. I don't often read rockstar romances, and I don't follow country music, so I was nervous that out of my own lack of background in this story world I might fail to connect, but wow was I wrong, and that to me is a true sign of good storytelling: the power to draw a reader into a book, to build a world that's inviting and relatable, even if the reader has very little baseline knowledge in the story's subject.

This was such a fantastic example of a rockstar romance done well. The pacing flowed, the story sucked me right in, the chemistry was sparkling but not overwrought, the writing descriptive enough without getting longwinded or redundant, and I felt the representation of the challenges of love between the famous star and the "ordinary" girl was realistic for its depiction of insecurity, public scrutiny, and the duplicity that often plagues stardom.

Kiki and Sarah's solid woman supporting woman friendship was also a star of this story. They have each other's backs, they bring out the best in each other, and they don't break each other's trust. Yay!

Hats off to Sophie for sucking me into the Coffee Girl World. I'm looking forward to reading Sarah's story in The Makeup Artist, coming this spring!!

I read A LOT of romance, so for a book to really stand out says so much. Coffee Girl stands out. I binged this baby in about 4 hours- I haven’t done that since Happy Ever After Playlist, which is saying something big. This book has everything you need in a romcom. Kiki and Tatum have a perfect meet cute where Kiki ends up with coffee all over her- hence the nickname. They were the perfect couple. Kiki was talented and funny. Tatum was a HOT, sweet, talented, country music star book boyfriend!!! There is plenty of steam that is well placed and perfectly hot. Awesome supporting characters, especially Kiki’s best friend TJ who was so stinking hilarious.

This is Sophie’s first book and I will be impatiently waiting for the next in the series, “The Makeup Artist” this spring!

Mackenzie Leigh Forbes or Kiki is a stylist at a fashion magazine called Cufflinks. She is fired from her job after their company is acquired by another one. She has two options in hand either to become a nanny to her arrogant and snobby sister or to work as an assistant to the stylist of a country-rock star Tatum Reed and she chooses the latter. The sparks ignite as the two of them get close while working together.

First of all this book was really good. I loved Kiki’s friendship with Sarah and TJ, Her sarcastic interaction with her elder sister, and how supporting her elder brother is to her. Tatum’s bond with his best friend Lex Ryan the lead guitarist in his band. Kiki and Tatum were awesome.

In all this is a very enjoyable book. I recommend this book to all the fans of contemporary romance. There are great characters, lovely story, vamps, and drama. I liked the writing style. Thank you @netgalley for the digital copy.

This is a fun light hearted romance. The character of Kiki starts out extremely vulnerable as she finds herself in a new environment all alone. She meets this mega country star who has confidence in spades. To say she’s a little insecure is an understatement. Especially when women are throwing themselves at him left and right. She questions, Why me? An ordinary girl thrown into an extraordinary situation. I hope you can feel her anxiety, her nerves, her love for Tatum. I hope I make you cheer for this couple. I hope I make you laugh, and I hope I leave you wanting more. Xo Sophie

Ms. Sinclair, I am so sorry I just now got around to reading this book! I LOVED it! This world you created was so enthralling, I read it in less than 24 hours and I am so ready for book 2! Tatum and Kiki were funny, sweet, and hot together. I saw some people commenting on how insecure Kiki was, but I loved that because that's exactly what I would feel dating a famous man that women fawn over too! It was a perfectly natural human emotion for her circumstances and I think it was so vital to their story. I genuinely loved this book! Well done! You have gained a new faithful reader in me😁

4.5 Adorable Stars!

I am swooning!

Absolutely swooning over Coffee Girl! Like what in the world, I just totally fell in love with Tatum Reed and Kiki Forbes and I am extremely sad this fun book is over with.

You know when you find a book that just wraps you right up and you actually feel like you are living in the story? Like nothing could snap you out of this fantasy land you are in? That’s how I felt reading Coffee Girl. I just totally want to go on a country star tour with this fun bunch of characters that Sophie Sinclair has created.

I freaking adored Tatum and Kiki. Tatum being a hot, hot, hotttttt country singer and Kiki being a goofy, adorable stylist. I could not get enough of them and all their banter and drama. They totally suck you in and so does their steamy attraction to each other!

“Want to fall with me?”

Plus, the title Coffee Girl? I’m obsessed, after reading it I think it is the cutest title in the world and I applaud Sinclair for just writing this adorable book! It was just what I needed and I devoured it in a day and a half.

My romance lovers? Not even kidding when I say you need to get this book asap and just enjoy every minute of it because I promise you will! I’m totally having a book hangover and need to get my hands on the next one in this series.

Thank you to the author Sophie Sinclair for a gifted copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Kiki just got laid off from her job in fashion and her options are to either be her pretentious sister’s nanny or move to Nashville to work as an assistant to the stylist of the country music star, Tatum Reed. Well, neither sounds fun, but life on the road touring with the band beats folding her sister and brother in law’s underwear. From the moment Kiki and Tatum meet, it’s instant attraction but a relationship in the public eye comes with its costs.

One of my goals in 2020 is to read more from indie authors and I’m so glad I picked this one up. I devoured it in less than a day! The story is engaging and the dialogue is fun with some cute banter. I was a little skeptical at first – there are some cringeworthy interactions and Tatum’s character seems questionable, but the story swept me along and I couldn’t put it down. The supporting characters are just as good. My favorite is definitely Kiki’s gay best friend TJ. Really looking forward to the next book featuring Sarah!

Ahhh Coffee Girl is everything. Why didn’t I read this sooner?!? @sophiesinclairauthor has a way with words that gets you hooked and keeps you locked in. ⁣

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I started this book last night around 7pm. I normally go to bed by 830, I stayed up past midnight to finish this because it was THAT good. I couldn’t get enough. ⁣

The banter between Tatum and Kiki and the conversations between TJ and Kiki had me laughing out loud. There was just enough drama, humor, and romance to make this unputdownable.⁣

Did I mention Tatums band raises money for an animal rescue in this and there is a fat cat named Oreo? I always love me a book that supports animal rescue and has fur babes; fiction or not. ⁣

Sarah was such an awesome friend to Kiki and set an amazing example of how women should lift each other up, instead of bringing them down.⁣

I cannot WAIT for her story in book two. I’m going to go crazy waiting for it til May. #bookstagram #books #romance #romcom #countrystuds

The synopsis of this book immediately drew me in. A singer/songwriter falls for a commoner. Sign me up! The characters were well developed. I enjoyed the cockiness that Tatum had as well as the down to earth vibe that Kiki brought. Initially, I was a bit concerned that the relationship that was developing was merely physical attraction, and boy was it a bit steamy at times.

I was pleased as I continued in the story that their emotional aspect was evolving as well. This was fast-paced and at times witty. I enjoyed the secondary characters in this novel a great deal as well. This was my first book of Sophie Sinclairs. I will definitely be looking for more of her work.

Thank you @netgalley and BookGoSocial for an opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

”Mackenzie Forbes, I think I’m falling in love with you.” He swallows, looking incredibly vulnerable. “Want to fall with me?”

“This last song of ours, I wrote one night when I couldn’t sleep because someone kept stealing my sheets.” The audience cheers and Tatum chuckles as he scans the crowd. “It’s about finding your heart unexpectedly stolen by someone you realize you’re in love with, and trying to convince her to take the leap with you. Coffee Girl, my heart belongs to you.”

Synopsis:
Kiki, a stylist, is out of work and it’s either go be a nanny / maid to her horrible sister or go work as an assistant stylist to one of country music’s hottest stars. Seems like a no brainer.

My Thoughts: The following are my thoughts about this book:
General:
- Trigger warning: none
- Setting: no specific place - mostly takes place on tour

Characters:
- Tatum (aka Tater Tot) (28, country music superstar):
- Recently single due to a cheating ex but still has to “fake” the relationship for the public for just a few more weeks.
- ”Our publicists begged her to “stay” with me until after the American Country Music Awards, once our tours were in full swing. No one wanted to see the “hottest couple of country” not make it, especially before we were supposed to sing a duet together on the ACMs.”

- The following words/phrases were used to describe hero: charming, cocky
- “He hides behind his charm and good looks, but deep down, there’s much more substance to this beautiful man.”

- Kiki (aka Coffee Girl) (26, Stylist):
- recently unemployed and single
- has a degree from the Art Institute of San Francisco in fashion design and has worked at Cufflinks magazine for five years as a fashion stylist.

- The following words/phrases were used to describe Kiki: witty sense of humor, sexy as hell, insecure, beautiful inside and out

Story Thoughts:
- Her sister....just wow 😲 😲 She was really hard to accept as real. Very over the top character.

- Kiki is a stylist, so at first I was a little confused by the title of the book. But once they met it became obvious and it was cute
- Some very common clichés and plot devices:
- 1. Was TJ a bad cliché, over the top, gay best friend?? YES!! Did I love him anyway?? YES!! 😁
- 2. The female musicians were the bad characters in the book. It would have been nice to see one of them portrayed positively rather than trashy and vindictive
- 3. The plot is pretty predictable
- 4. The reason for the separation just showed how immature the characters were. A little communication with each other could have netted a different result.
- 5. A horrible, selfish ex who is a big time bitch

- I liked that they had different tastes in music and that they shared that with each other. It made them feel like individuals and that they each had a different POV to bring to the relationship.
- ”Sharing your favorite music with someone is like standing naked in front of a room of strangers. Completely exposed. Your deepest, darkest thoughts beat in time with the lyrics as they play out, tapping on the rhythm of your soul.”

- Kiki’s insecurity got old and began to irritate me ”I’m just a regular girl, and regular girls don’t date country superstars like Tatum Reed.”. Also, she cried too many times because of hurtful words from mean girls. I wanted her to get a backbone and either ignore them or stand up for herself. She “felt” much younger and more immature than someone who is 26. Where was her self confidence???

- I did feel that both characters were slightly different by the end of the book. They had a tiny bit of character growth.

- I thought they had good chemistry. They had a couple moments where they talked about their families / past. But on the whole it wasn’t a relationship with deep conversations.

- I liked the budding friendship between Kiki and Sara and will most likely add Sara’s love story to my TBR shelf.

- I Love the cover

Overview:
- POV: Dual POV
- Tropes: famous musician, boss / coworker
- H likable? Yes
- h likable? Yes
- h virgin? No
- First time they kiss: 40%
- First time they sleep together: 57%
- First time they say I Love You 75%
- steamy? It has a few steamy moments.
- OW/OM drama? Yes. Tatum has a vindictive ex and she causes trouble
- H/h cheat? Technically no. A little while after Tatum kisses Kiki he snuggles with a girl because he read a situation incorrectly and got jealous. Nothing came of it, but still he had another girl on his lap after they had somewhat started a relationship.
- Time apart? A few months
- Did I skip pages? No
- Big secrets? No
- Did I cry? No
- Did I laugh? these toe had some cute moments and Pants-gate was funny
- Did I swoon 🥰? well, he wrote her a love song.....so ❤️
- Cliffhanger? No
- HEA? Yes
- Epilogue? 6 months later
- Recommend? If you are looking for a deep read with lots of character development and growth, this isn’t it. If you are looking for an easy read with low angst, this would work for you. On the whole, I enjoyed my time with Coffee Girl and Tater Tot.

“Coffee Girl, you have my permission to call this jackass Tater Tot.”

Quotes
“Karma is a bitch, and I’m wondering what on earth I did to make her take a swing at me.

“muumuus could be coming back in to style…” “So are onesies. Doesn’t mean you should wear them.”

“Please, God, please tell me I didn’t just text Tatum that I want to lick him all over and that my boobs are swinging around like a hippie dancing with her bongos.”

“I like being in a relationship. I like knowing everything about the other person, but still finding out little surprises down the road. I want meaningful conversations, knowing what makes her laugh, holding her when she cries.“

“Seeing her is like sunshine peeking out on my cloudy day.”

“You’ve always been my songbird, and I don’t ever want to lose that melody again.”

Review : Coffee Girl by Sophie Sinclair

WOW. Let me tell you, I am one picky reader when it comes to my rockstar romances. I usually only read them when I want something angsty, because most rockstars are pretty angsty. But to my surprise this book didn’t have those angsty vibes, it was more about Tatum and Kiki. Don’t get me wrong it had it’s moments but it was more a sweet story. It was about their connection, the music, real relationship problems, and fun flirtatious banter. I felt like I was watching two people fall in love, and they didn’t even realize it. Tatum knew girls loved him, he had this cocky flirtatious personality but he was also a southern gentleman, and I just fell in love with him. Kiki is this witty (a little self conscious) woman who’s trying to make a career out of her passion for styling. But what my favorite part was the music. I believe that listening to someones playlist or music tells you a lot about that person, and I felt that the author captured that in their relationship. The lyrics he writes for her, and their conversations about music made me swoon.

5/5
3/3 Steam

My recommendation is that if you love country music, steam, and the book When it’s Real by Erin Watt, you’ll love Coffee Girl.

Thank you Sophie Sinclair for sending me an ARC of Coffee Girl!

A friends to lovers country-rockstar romance that is tender, delightful and full of charm.

Blurb: Kiki, a stylist for a men’s magazine, suddenly loses her job. Not sure what to do, Kiki decided to take a job with her brothers best friend as an assistant to a stylist to someone super famous.

Little does Kiki know, she’s about to come face to face with Tatum Reed, one of country music’s biggest stars.

The two have instant chemistry, but will their mutual attraction turn into something more or will a relationship between a “nobody” and “mega star” fade away?

There’s something very gratifying about reading a book that has the perfect amounts of angst, banter, sex appeal, and plot development. Sinclair hit a home run with this rockstar romance. Kiki is hilarious, Tatum is sex on a stick, and even the gay best friend had me giggling. A megawatt super-fun five star read for me!

Fired from her men’s stylist job in her hometown of San Francisco, Kiki lands a styling assistant gig to a popular country band and moves to Nashville. She bumps into a sexy man at the coffee shop, spilling coffee all over herself, only later to find out was Tatum—the lead singer of said popular country band. The undeniable attraction grows tension, but would the fame and business rise above the love and relationship? Or vice versa?

I love me celebrity romances, especially when it’s between a male celebrity and an ordinary heroine (i.e. Waiting for Tom Hanks, The HEA Playlist, Simply Starstruck)! And, Coffee Girl brought on hilarious dialogue, fun characters, a swoony male lead, and a healthy side of steam. I enjoyed all the tension, the build-up, and how the story was executed. Because I loved You’d Be Mine, gotta love it when there are country song lyrics included!

I say this alot but I don't know why I have waited so long to read this! I'm always very hesitant with trying new authors but I don't know why as this was AMAZING!
Rockstar romances are my favourite trope but this was my first based around a country music star.
Tatum is going on tour with his band and is in the process of ending things with his girlfriend of 2 years who is also a country music star.
Kiki is down on her luck atm. Shes had a string of bad dates, lost her job as a stylist for a magazine and could possibly end up losing her apartment. To add insult to injury her snooty sister had offered her a job as her nanny/housemaid/general dogs body. Kiki hate the idea of working her her sister so begs her brother to help. He gets in touch with his friend Lee who gets her a job as Tatums bands stylists assistant. Not being into country music Kiki has no idea who Tatum is and although the job is mainly getting coffees and general housekeeping jobs she takes it and moves to Nashville with the hopes of proving her worth to her boss Jess.
Ahhh Coffee Girl and Tater Tot you 2 are just 😍😍😍 the slow burn between them was great. Tatum was mesmerised by l Kiki from the off but being a star he try to fight his instincts but can't stay away. Kiki is very cautious of Tatum after all his ex is a gorgeous music star and he could have his pick of any woman. They get a lot of crossed wires at the beginning but the outcome was so worth it.
This book was everything I love in a romance, funny, steamy and dramatic without being too ott. I loved Kikis friendship with TJ and Sarah. Her chats with TJ had me in stitches especially with be text message mix up. This was such a good story I started in at midnight and stayed up till 3am I didn't want to put it down and for me that's the sign of great read. I was so absorbed in it I didn't want to stop. The characters were well written and I loved Kikis sass and Tatums confidence and charm. I wouldn't hesitate to read anything by Sophie Sinclair again and can't wait to read the next installment with Sarah and Lex

It's not a suprise by now that I love rockstar romances and books about artists going on tour, add in the country flair and I was completely sold! So when I heard about this one, I was super excited to dive in. And it was such a fun and sweet one and I really enjoyed it.

I fell for Tatum's charm and his beautiful green eyes just like Mackenzie did. And I loved watching him fall head over heels in love with her. I loved their banter and they way they got to know each other and worked their way into a relationship. And his nickname for her, Coffee Girl, had me swooning.

I adored some of the side characters, specially Sarah and I am super excited for her and Lex's book. I am super intrigued about the guy and what his story is and even more so about them together after reading the first chapter of their book at the end of Coffee Girl.

You can count on all the sex, drama and lies that come with the spotlight but also all the swoon, the spark and the beautiful music that come with a sexy rockstar romance.

4.5 Stars!

Coffee Girl was my first novel by Sophie Sinclair, and it definitely won’t be my last. I enjoyed every page of this book, I devoured it in one day, I was hooked by Kiki and Tatum’s story and I was so eager to see how it ended.

Kiki, a fashion graduate, has just been fired from her job at a men’s fashion magazine and is struggling to find a new job. Her only option appears to be working as a nanny to her older perfect sister Brooke, until her older brother Cameron pulls some strings and a fashion assistant on country music start Tatum Reed’s US tour. Kiki isn’t really a country music fan, so doesn’t really have a clue who he is, but jumps at the chance to escape her sister and moves to Nashville.
During her first week, which is less than the glamorous experience she was sold, she’s collecting coffee when an accident happens involving a door. Kiki is wearing more coffee than she is carrying, but that doesn’t stop an attractive man from offering to help. Kiki is instantly drawn to his deep green eyes and finds herself staring but refuses his help. It’s not until the first night of his tour that she realises her mysterious man is Tatum Reed himself.

Tatum is fresh out of a relationship, after breaking up from his ex-Savannah, a fellow singer who cheated on him, but the news is yet to go public. Once the tour starts, the breakup hits the tabloids and Tatum realises the hot coffee girl from the lobby is on tour with him. Their attraction is palpable, but Tatum is a massive flirt, a charmer and Kiki sees right through him. She couldn’t care less about his celebrity status; she just likes getting to know the man underneath his performance persona. But she can’t work out if she’s one of many, so tries to distance herself, knowing how important this job is to her. Until one evening after a performance, the chemistry builds to breaking point and they both give in to their feelings. Once they spend more time just the two of them, and have some special moments in private, they begin to fall deeper for one another. But when Savannah reappears, will Tatum get back together with her for the sake of his career? Or will the world accept their favourite country star with someone who is more normal?

This book had me in stitches. I laughed so hard at so many scenes, the fish catching, the photoshoot, the leather trousers, the list goes on. But there were so many sweet moments too, the song writing, the date. I loved Sophie’s writing, it was heartfelt and detailed, I felt like I was on tour with Tatum and Kiki, travelling around the cities and falling in love with them. Tatum was such a flirt, he knew exactly what to say to get a reaction, but at the end of the day, all he wanted was to perform his music to his fans. Kiki came into his life so unexpectedly, and although they both tried to hide their feelings and their relationship, they were inevitable. Kiki was hilarious, she was so unashamedly herself and I loved that about her. She did doubt herself at times, but I feel like any normal woman in her situation would, but she took it in her stride and did what she believed was right. I loved Tate and Kiki together, their story is one I will re-read again and again.

I adored the ending; it was such a beautiful heart-warming scene. I am so intrigued by Lex and Sarah’s story and I cannot wait for The Make-Up Artist to come out next! I am also so intrigued by Cameron and his woman too!

Thank you so much to Sophie for providing me with a copy!

Coffee Girl and Tater Tot’s love story is one of my all time favorites! From first to the last page, from writing to the characters in it, this book was perfect and I loved every single thing about it.
I loved how funny, goofy, beyond adorable and real Kiki’s character is. I loved how thoughtful, kind and sometimes even cocky Tatum is. I couldn’t get enough of them! They were both amazing characters and I fell in love with them right from the start.
Reading those first interactions between them had me laughing like crazy. Kiki was hyperventilating every time she was around Tatum, blabbering nonsense, blushing like crazy and when they finally got together I thought my heart was going to melt from how adorable together they are. Chemistry between them was really undeniable!
I haven’t read many books with secondary characters that are equally amazing as the main ones, even those that were really mean were hilarious in their own way and made this story even more perfect for me. Kiki’s best friend TJ was hilarious, I LOVE him! Friendship between her cat Oreo and their driver Stan-too adorable! And that song Tatum has written for Kiki... Gah! I have no words!
I think I found my new favorite author and I’m so excited to read more from her.
I cannot recommend this book enough! It’s an understatement to say that I just loved it and I CAN’T wait to read Sarah and Lex’s book, The Makeup Artist, can’tcan’tcan’t wait!!

Who wouldn’t want to join someone famous on tour, especially if that someone is a hunky country star? I sure would love it! I was SO excited when I saw Coffee Girl come up on netgalley in their Read Now section. I’ve only read good things about it!

Kiki is fired from her men’s stylist job and is offered either helping her sister and become a nanny (and yes that includes pressing her brother in laws underwear, no thank you!) or go on tour with a major country music singer. Rather than becoming a nanny, Kiki decides to go on tour, where she ends up meeting a handsome guy on her first day, as she spills coffee down her shirt. The hunk is of course none other than Tatum, the major country artist. Kiki and Tatums attraction grows, but will a relationship work when fame is on the lines?

I loved the romantic banter between Kiki and Tatum, the lyrics, real relationship problems, and so much more! Tatum is full of swoon, even if he is a little cocky, it worked for him. I also appreciated Kiki being a little self conscious and hard working, it made her so realistic!

This is Sophie Sinclair’s debut novel and it didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait to read Sarah’s story, she was such a fun character in Kikis story. If you’re a romance fan, like celebrity stories, steam and especially country music, I suggest you check out Coffee Girl!

I received an ARC of coffee girl and I must say..... wow.

One of my all time favorite romances is the Thoughtless series by S.C. Stephens. There’s something about a confident singer that just makes you smile.

And then we meet Tatum in the coffee girl. Country music’s leading man on the road touring with his band, and team including his personal stylists assistant, Kiki. Tatum Cannot wait to lose his ex girlfriend and America’s not so sweetheart Savanna Edwards since they’ve managed to keep the media believing they are still in love when really they hate eachother.

Kiki isn’t sure about this whole “country scene”. Especially after her first run in with the hot singer, where she is covered in coffee earning the nickname “the coffee girl”.

Kiki and Tatum’s relationship blossoms from mutual understanding to hot chemistry while on tour with the band. You can only hide a love like that for so long ;).

This is a book I’ll be sharing with friends and recommending for my romance lovers.
The relationship felt genuine and I loved the pop culture and music references. I think this couple deserves their own playlist.

I’m just sad I can’t listen to Tatum sing “Fall with me” *swoon*

I can’t wait to read more by this talented author. She deserves all the love!

I don’t read rockstar romances but I knew I had to read this book. I LOVE country music and this book made me reminisce on the show Nashville!
I’m so glad I finally got around to reading it.
Huge thanks to Sophie Sinclair for sending me a copy.

I adored the relationship between Kiki and Tatum. They were smitten kittens. I was a smitten kitten 😅. I was living for their text threads. LIVING. The contact names kept me on my toes 🙌🏼
Tatum was totally charming and reminded me so much of my favorite male country singers 🥰
Kiki was super relatable and they combined to form a beautiful pairing.

I didn’t want to put this book down. Which meant I finished it in a few hours 😅

I highly recommend this book to everyone. Regardless if you like country music or not. I personally really enjoyed reading about behind the scenes of a country music tour 🙌🏼

The side characters played pivotal roles in the story and added to it. This makes me super excited for the next book in the series. It comes out days before my 23rd birthday 🥰

I heard about this book from my girl Meghan from @bookswineandbesties and thought it sounded SUPER cute and right up my reading alley! I love an "underdog" love story. I mean the super star country singer and the assistant to the assistant is attainable, right?? Sign me up! This story had all the FEELS and I really enjoyed it. I already one clicked the next book and I can't wait to watch the manwhore fall for the makeup girl...swooooooon. Thanks again Meg for bringing this story into my reading world. I thoroughly enjoyed it xo

Thank you Netgalley for my free copy to review and enjoy. I loved this book. It was a sweet, enjoyable, fun and light read. It’s a story about country superstar Tatum and his stylist Kiki. The nicknames for each other and the text messages between them was adorable. The music was an added beauty to the story. I liked how they bonded over music. Sarah and TJ were fun supporting characters. Everyone should have fun friends that will be there for the lows and highs in life. You won’t regret picking this gem up. I’m looking forward to the next book!!
