It Started With A Sleigh
This Christmas Eve, Sadie’s determined to stay on the Nice List by helping to save Christmas… but no one said she couldn’t have some naughty fun along the way!
Stranded in the city on Christmas Eve when all I want is to go home and be with my family, it was shaping up to be the worst Christmas ever.

These elves were not the cute, short, pointy-eared creatures I’d always imagined. El, Tin and Max were tall, charming and, under their elaborate green coats, muscled and gorgeous.
When they begged me to help them find some Christmas cheer to recharge their sleigh so countless children wouldn’t wake up disappointed on Christmas Day, how could I say no?
But with only a few hours until midnight, I wasn’t sure we could get the sleigh moving in time – especially if my naughty new friends kept distracting me with flirtatious looks and stolen kisses.

This was a cute and steamy holiday themed reverse harem romance. Sadie breaks down and get home for Christmas. She’s given up on the holiday when three hottie elves crash from the sky and take her on a wild adventure to build some Christmas cheer and save Christmas!!

It was alright. One woman having the worst Christmas ever and three crash landed elves in a sleigh. I wouldn’t say romance exactly more fast burn insta lust. It was sweet, full of Christmas spirit and as with most Christmas stories a lesson to be learned. Plenty of sex. Curious whether she’s a member of the mile high club. Does sleigh sex count? A few funny moments. Favourite part was the epilogue.

It Started with a Sleigh seemed liked it was going to be a super cute holiday book to fly through. Which, yes, it was a short book, but I wasn't completely invested in it. Don't get me wrong, the characters were likable but since everything was done within a day I just couldn't fully commit. Maybe if things were drawn out a bit more my opinion would be different.
Other than that, the elves and their Christmas magic were interesting to a point. I'm also jealous that Sadie gets to see the north pole AND meet the big guy? Ugh. Totally want to do that. I guess I'll just stick to my Santa movies... for now.

Three elves turned up in sadies life to save Christmas!!
I loved this cute little book.. I loved sadies elves and their back stories, I honestly wish there was more, I want to know what else they get upto in the future, if i didn't need sleep I deffo wouldn't have put the book down haha

More like a 3.5
So, I don't like Christmas. I'm a grinch. My friends convinced me to read this against my will.
It was actually not bad. I disliked the cutsey Christmas stuff but I knew I would. Its well written and edited well but I felt no attachment to the characters. I thought the steamy bits were a bit premature in the course of the relationship building. There were definitely things that could have been improved but it was cute and sweet and a bit steamy. So, not a total loss.
Would recommend for a cute, sweet, steamy Christmas book. If that's what you're into.

This was a cute holiday read but damn did things move fast. The story was ok but I didn't love it, I found the pacing to be a little crazy and all over the place. The heroines car breaks down on Christmas Eve as she's heading to her parents home. It's a lucky coincidence a trio of elves also crash their sleigh while on delivery for Santa. Only the crash causes them to lose Christmas cheer which runs the sleigh and the heroine has a long night ahead of her assisting them with filling the snow-globe with as much cheer as possible. The book takes place over the course of a single night and for me this was just too much in too little time.

“It’s the North Pole. When it comes to Christmas, all our shit is better than yours. We’re the OGs of Christmas.”
I loved this holiday RH! I picked up this book because someone said it was “like a dirty Hallmark movie” and I needed that in my life. It was a perfect balance of sweetness, steam, and holiday magic with elves and a snow globe.
Sadie’s Christmas starts off horrible, but three sexy elves crashed and they need her help to save Christmas. Sadie was a realistic and likeable character. She has a kind heart, funny personality, and is a hard worker, but she still isn’t where she wants to be in life and is settling for comfort and what she knows. I don’t think I can choose a favorite out of the guys, but I feel like Tin had the most holiday spirit since he loves every Christmas movie and song. The guys each had different backstories that were heartbreaking, but in the end it got them where they were supposed to be. I wish we would’ve seen more of Monica because I loved her friendship with Sadie.
This book had some holiday puns, cheesy lines, and a great lesson about the true spirit of Christmas. I really enjoyed reading her version of Elves, elves, Santa, and the North Pole. I also thought the encounters with Christmas beings added a magical element to the story. I am a sucker for Christmas romances, but when you mix in a reverse harem that involved three hot alpha elves, I’ll drop everything to read this book. It Started with a Sleigh was the perfect mix of holiday cheer and heat! The story was super sweet and you can’t help but smile the entire time.
Sadie loves Christmas. She works hard and was able to get the evening off from her retail job to visit her family for Christmas eve. However, when her car breaks down and then there is a loud crash. Her night takes a crazy turn and she is about to experience a night she never could have imagined.
I can’t even begin to describe how much I enjoyed this book. Sadie is relatable. She loves Christmas, but like everyone she lost sight of the true meaning of the holiday. Max, Tin and El were not only three gorgeous alpha elves, but their histories are heartbreaking, but I loved that they found a new form of family. The chemistry between the four of them was fantastic, but Sadie also had a different connection with each of the guys.

This book just put my Christmas spirit into overdrive. Christmas is my absolute favourite time of the year. I put up my tree with it’s pre-lit white lights up on my birthday (October 30th) as a little birthday gift to myself because it makes me so happy. (Side note. I don’t decorate the tree till after Remembrance Day)
So how could I resist this book full of Christmas magic. I’d love to live in a world where this book was real life. The magic, the hot men 😉, & the Christmas spirit. Ok so this was my first RH read, and I liked it way more than I expected to! A friend of mine recommended because she knew I loved Christmas stories, and she was right. I really enjoyed it.
This reads more like a little fantasy/adventure spiced up with by sexy elves, but other than the sex scenes, it’s just a really cute Christmas journey!
About the reversed harem, I was surprise by how much I enjoyed it! Sadie’s relationship to the three of them was well written, and I found myself hoping they’d all be happy together in the end.

Who knew that there was a RH turned Christmas themed? This one stared off cheesy and for a moment, I was questioning "am I really going to read this?". There are a LOT of similarities to the movie Elf, and they even quote it occasionally, so if you don't like that movie-you probably won't like this book. I did find it interesting how quick the MC was to sleep with all of the elves, but it was a total YOLO attitude that I can appreciate at the same time.

A perfect way to feel festive
This book not only has three sexy elves but plenty of humour, Christmas spirit and romance, to make this book the perfect way to get the Christmas celebrations going. I really enjoyed it, now I'm off to put my Christmas tree up and sing Christmas carols, you know, just in case some hot elves need my help to get their sleigh up and running again.

Well, just then, she hears a crash near the alley behind her apartment building. And when she checks on it, she finds three sexy, magical Christmas elves with a sleigh. El, Tin, and Max are tall, charming, and, under their elaborate green coats, muscled and gorgeous.
When they begged Sadie to help them find some Christmas cheer to recharge their sleigh so countless children wouldn’t wake up disappointed on Christmas Day, she agreed to help them.
So they go on a wild adventure to restore the charge in the snow globe. Even though they have a mission to complete, there’s still plenty of time for a little distraction and a special Christmas delivery.

I really loved the concept of the story. It really was magical. It conveyed the true essence of Christmas, which is all about giving.
I wish the book had been a bit longer, with more character development for El, Tin, and Max. Also, I wanted more steamy scenes.

Sadie's Christmas Eve has gone from bad to worse. Now she's stuck at home and will have to spend Christmas by herself, until she finds three hot elves who crashed their sleigh near her apartment. Now she has to help them get enough Christmas cheer to fix their vehicle if they want to deliver the presents before sunrise. It's not too bad, especially when Sadie starts falling for the three elves.
I thought it was a fun and light read that I should have read nearer Christmas time, but oh well!

Almost didn’t finish this, because it’s so incredibly cheesy. The Christmas puns and the lines are so so so silly, and the entire story line is so childish- but then it gets super hot and steamy. Hot like fire! So I gave it two stars for having to fan myself and stop reading while in public. Plus if you are in the Christmas mood it is SUPER Christmas. But beware for the ridiculousness of it all.

Sadie's Christmas Eve isn't exactly going as planned when three elves magically crash into the alley behind her apartment building. With her much needed help she sets off to find Christmas cheer which the elves need to power their sleigh. Their Christmas Eve adventures not only bring wonderful reminders as to what the holidays are really about, but are infused with wonderful chemistry between Sadie and each elf - Tin, El, and Max.
This is a reverse harem with great chemistry, but the story also focuses on the connection she has with each man. This helps make the connection that much deeper considering the story takes place all in one night.
With such a short timeline in this novella, Kaydence touches on a lot of topics that the season should realistically be about, but so many people lose sight of. It isn't pushed down your throat either as she wraps it in a way that is mixed with so much joy you can feel the happiness of the season bleeding through in the descriptions of everything infused on the pages. It makes you want to experience the season in a better way instead of being a Grinch.
Do I want my own personal elves...YES...but even more so - Sadie, Tin, El, and Max have given me a boost of happiness heading into the holiday season.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover it’s a magical (sort of fantastical) RH read set in the real world. It’s a charming story that takes place on Christmas Eve and manages to give you everything you could ever really need or want in a romance while lighting you up from the inside out. There’s enough swoon-inducing moments to woo any Grinch and plenty of playful banter to keep you smiling throughout. I was also impressed by the smutty scenes, they did a fantastic job of setting my libido on fire. I would happily drag any one of Sadie’s elves under the mistletoe.

It was short and cute - but didn't really have the spicy romance I was looking for. This is a faced past book, so everything progresses really quickly. This was all about the Christmas spirit and not so much about them. It was mostly pretty PG except for the couple lewd jokes and the 2 short sex scenes.
It was a good Christmas story though! I nice take on the Christmas Elves.
Sadie got stuck in the city on Christmas Eve and all attempts at making it home failed, she started giving up on celebrating Christmas and decided she would stay home, get drunk, and watch a slasher movie. But when she heard a crash, she found 3 sexy men who looked to be dressed like elves.

This is was a super fun and spicy Christmas romance. I love that the heroes in this story are elves and how magical they were. They also have incredibly sad backstories about what led them to becoming elves which does bring the joy of the story down a little but it is also heartwarming in a way since they now have new families. Sadie was a great heroine who is having a terrible Christmas until she unexpectedly meets the elves. The chemistry between all four of them felt natural which is a real testament to Snow's writing since Sadie just met Max, Tin and El. Another element of the story that I really loved was the adventures they go on trying to get enough Christmas cheer to start the sleigh up again. I smiled a few times at their escapades and also swooned at their sweet moments.
