This book was criminally long. The plot was insane but I wasn’t in it for that, feed me more romance crumbles pls I’m starving. The author is throwing new concepts at the reader so many times, I simply lost interest in the world building.
The only thing that kept me reading was Hudson. He is too precious and I’d gladly sacrifice myself for him. Ugh my heart when he loses his soul every time he disintegrates someone🥲. And the fact that he disintegrated himself so many times cause it was better being dust than alive…
But let’s drop the “babe” real quick and pretend he said “baby”. And the British is cute, but I’ll NEVER stand for “fooking”…
Now let’s move on to Gracias🤢. Oh she brings out the angry side in me. She annoys the shit out of me cause she IS the main character from a YA novel from 2010 I swear to god, GET ME OUT OF HER HEAD. And don’t get me started on her endless stream of thoughts and the way she repeats “so I do” in EVERY chapter. Graffiti has the most bland and boring personality ever. The pick me energy is strong in this one guys. I honestly prefer Isadora over Gracussy any day.
Jaxon and Flint is my new fave ship<33 I’f the author tries to kill off one of my new babies I’m coming for her👹 (for legal reasons this is a joke).

I have officially given up on this series. I DNF'd this around 300 pages. I wish I could give this negative stars.
I don't know how this series went from Crave, to the following 3 books. The author all but destroyed Jaxons character. The continuous shoving of the mating bond between Grace and Hudson was OVERKILL in what I could get through of this book- they said I love you every 5th sentence and had to be touching, and they are all that matters. Grace turned into the most selfish, self centered, self absorbed character I have probably ever read. I could go on and on but I won't. Save yourself the agony of trying to find redemption in this series- you won't get any in this book either.

This series started out good. It lasted till the second book. The downfall started on the third book. The fourth book was just hell. It was so unnecessarily long that I have lost a lot of brain cells trying to comprehend what just went down. There were alot of useless details and random side plots that made me roll my eyes harder than Hudson. The pacing was fast as it was in the previous books but I felt like this book followed the same kind of pattern that was in Covet. Author kills off a some characters who aren't really important, Grace and company have to go on some side quests inorder to complete the main quest and literally all the characters are just dumb biches who do stupid shit but then realize they shouldn't have done it. At this point, I feel like this book is stretched out too much. The ending was really predictable and anticlimactic. There was no need for another book (apart from charm) but guess the author really loves these characters. For me, it wasn't something impressive. As much as I loved Crush, this book was nah for me. It doesn't mean anyone else can enjoy it. I just feel like I've grown out of the teenage YA books. Also it felt like the writing was a bit immature. I would definitely read Charm because why not. But Cherish, no thanks.
Also Isadora wasn't as bad ass as she was made out to be. I'm sorry I just had to say that because I've read some real bad ass characters and Izzy just doesn't stand a chance against them. I didn't like any character development in this book, even Hudson's.
There are a lot of things I would rant about but I don't have the brain cells to do it. So I'll just leave it at that. Have fun reading this cluster fuck of a book. I know I didn't.

Le pongo 1 estrella por que 0 no hay, por que menuda decepción de libro, me siento engañada.
Esta historia no tiene nada que ver con las anteriores, me ha costado la vida terminarlo y lo termino por que ya sentía curiosidad por como después de 800 páginas resolvía todas estas tramas que se ha sacado de la manga.
Después de meter en los libros anteriores una pareja sacada de la nada, Grace y Husdon, para ser más exactos. Que se supone que en cuatro meses que han estado encerrados juntos han tenido su historia de amor, pero ella ni se acuerda y él no suelta prenda de ese tiempo que ha pasado entre ellos, cosa que resulta que sirve para sacar otro libro y lo tengas que leer si o si, para enterarte de lo que pasa ahí.
Después de hacerte a la idea de que ella pasa de Jaxon, (que en su momento era el gran amor) a Hudson y nos engancha con el "trío" que hace que nos tenga un libro entero en vilo para ver que pasará entre estos dos y nos mete en este libro una relación más fría que el polo norte, por que sus momentos me han parecido repetitivos, aburridos y sin química y más que una relación parecían compañeros que pareja.
Que ojo, para poder leer en este libro un momento entre los dos, que no fuera interrumpido, para variar. no llega hasta la mitad o más del libro, aquí la parte romance brilla por su ausencia.
El momento que más me fastidió y que estuve esperando mucho tiempo era un acercamiento entre ellos más íntimo y resulto ser un engaño por que en libros anteriores te venden una cosa que aquí pasa otra.
Y te deja pensando que parte no has leído por que no cuadra con lo que esta pasando.
Por otra parte Hudson tenía una personalidad que me encantaba, aquí no reconozco a este personaje. es un títere de Grace. Hace y dice todo lo que ella quiere, no le discute nada y a parte claro está, que las pocas veces que se hace referencia a sus problemas con sus dones se hace ya hasta pesado.
Al final ha conseguido que prefiriera que no estuvieran juntos a que siguieran así.
A parte los demás personajes que para mí, han sido relleno total para esta historia, todo el tiempo era Grace y sus pataletas, se atisbaba ciertas cosas relacionadas con otros personajes importantes que fueron en libros anteriores como Flint y Jaxon pero no profundizan más...
Te dejan con las dudas.
La trama es otra cosa que me ha parecido surrealista, más de 170 capítulos para llegar a un punto importante de toda esta historia y 5 capítulos para el final? Y menudo final, todo la que lían para eso? Tantas tramas sin sentidos que no vienen a cuento y que no encajan, por que en este libro, cosas que no podían suceder en libros anteriores aquí de la nada, si.
Capítulos de rellenos que no cuentan nada y cosas que lees que te hace pensar y esto para que, cuando podría profundizar en otros temas que realmente merecen ser leídas.
Más de 10 capítulos para ir a los sitios y explicar las situaciones, se te hacía eterno.
Lo único que me alegrado es leer que volvía unos personajes del libro anterior, pero aún así hay un momento que pasa que no era necesario que sucediera así.
Y dejo para el final el personaje de Grace.
Ya anteriormente no era santo de mi devoción, por actitudes que tenía y su forma de hacer y decir las cosas, pero a medida que iba leyendo más manía le tenía.
Me parece un personaje infantil, egoísta y abanderada de muchas cosas que le quedan grande.
Hay momentos que me ha chirriado de tal manera su actitud que he tenido que dejar de leer.
Cada capítulo le iba aumentado los poderes, la iban haciendo más poderosa para que al final dure todo el desenlace 5 minutos.
Y ese final? Al final todo el mundo gira a su alrededor para variar.
Es Grace y solo Grace.
Sólo piensa en ella y le da igual que sus decisiones tengas consecuencias, mientras que ha ella no le afecte, le da igual todo.
Y me podría tirar diciendo más cosas hasta mañana, pero aquí lo dejo.
Simplemente decir que este libro ha sido una decepción muy grande.

Me ha encantado, engancha de principio a fin. Pasan cosas constantemente y eso no te permite aburrirte, todo lo contrario. Muchos giros de trama que, a ver, algunos te los ves venir pero otros… 😱.
No puedo amar más a estos personajes, necesito que esta saga dure para siempre 😂😂.
Cómo siempre la autora nos hace reír y disfrutar pero también sufrir… porque suceden muchas cosas en este libro, aunque debo confesar que esperaba sufrir más así que agradezco a la autora que haya sido compasiva 😅😂.
No puedo amar más a estos personajes, necesito que esta saga dure para siempre 😂😂.

But the thing is, without that pain, it's nearly impossible to heal. Because the only way past it is through it.
Honestly I don’t think I can say anything other than HOLY MOLY I LOVED IT, I LOVED IT, I LOVED IT!!! This might just be my favorite book in the Crave series. I adore Grace, she’s always so strong, kind, caring, and about two seconds away from losing her goddamn sh*t. This book we found out yet another secret that had been hidden from her about her identity, and honestly the chaos that ensued once she found out had me laughing. In this book we meet new characters for us to fall in love with, and a couple of gods as well. Poor Jaxon took a fair few hits of sass in this book, but surprisingly the funniest one wasn���t delivered by Hudson…
"A piece of rock?" Jaxon repeats, sounding outraged on my behalf. "What the hell- "Shut it, goth boy. Nobody wants to listen to you, and no one has time for one of your temper tantrums anyway." I'm not sure if Jaxon chokes on his outrage or his own saliva, but either way, the sound he makes is a cross between a dying rhino and a hippo in heat.
I need the next book now, pretty please.
Part of me wants to hang it up now. To just say, no thanks, bad idea, I'll come back another day with a rocket launcher and an entire missile system.

Well, what can I say about this latest Crave installment?
It was long.
It was very long.
One might even say too long. 👀👀👀
(Mild spoilers up ahead if you haven't read the first 3 installments yet)
The Vampire King has declared war against Grace, her friends, and anyone else who dares to stand in the way of the world war he's waging to finally bring paranormals out of the shadows. Grace and her friends go on a journey to free the Gargoyle army that's been frozen in time for centuries and to retrieve the Katmere students that have been kidnapped by The Vampire King.
For me, this one wasn't as good as the others, for a book that's supposed to be about beating a man on a quest for world domination it just didn't feel as intense or climactic as it seems like it should have.
I was hooked in the beginning, but the middle really sagged. The pacing felt off to me, for 400 pages there'd be nothing happening, and then all of a sudden a whole book's worth of things go down within the span of 40 or 50 pages.
Crave will always have a special place in my heart, but if I'm being 100% honest, the writing isn't all that great, and often I can't really get a read on the tone because half the time it feels almost satirical and then the other half of the time it tries to be very serious, so it just ends up being kind of all over the place.
The plot twists were GOOD, but there were only like, 2 or 3, and I feel like for a 940+ page long book that there should have been... more?
I will say though that I LOOOOVVVED the non-bionary rep in this book, there needs to be more of that, especially in YA fantasy, even though Crave isn't perfect, I have to give Tracy Wolff some credit for attempting to diversify her characters. I also liked Grace's awesome badass new powers, especially at the end, felt like she was pretty on point there. (But again, I feel like it shouldn't take 800+ pages for a book to get good?)
And you guys- why did they have to kill off my favorite character 😭😭😭
My ONE LAAST COMPLAINT is that- I mean- As I said earlier, I love the diverse rep, but I'm just not feeling the sparks between Flint and Jaxon? I mean- it feels forced and there's a lot of telling, not showing.
I think I'm still going to read Cherish when it comes out, and I'm DEF going to read Charm because I need to know what the heck happened to Grace and Hudson during those 4 months they were trapped together, but I'm hoping that they'll both resonate with me more than Court did. Happy reading <3

Le doy dos estrellas porque es una saga que hasta ahora me había encantado y me da muchísima pena ponerle una nota más baja aún (aunque se la merecería).
Este libro, con todo el dolor de mi corazoncito, es regulín tirando a malo. No es que esté mal escrito, pero es que hay 170 capítulos y creo que con solo 10 se podría haber explicado todo lo que ocurre en él. La sensación de relleno, de estirarse las tramas hasta la extenuación, de no saber qué contar y acabar resultando pesado...me ha superado.
Desde casi el principio solo he tenido ganas de que acabara la tortura. Es un libro lento, farragoso y sin evolución en los personajes (por muy épicos que me los quiera vender).
Leer Fulgor es como entrar en el agujero de gusano de la peli Interestellar: sabes cómo entras, pero vete a saber si sales de ahí. El tiempo/espacio se dilata y se contrae. Lo mismo se puede pasar 15 capítulos paralizado en una habitación cerrada con los personajes, sin que pase nada en absoluto, a que de repente en un único capítulo se cargue a cinco de ellos y aquí paz y luego gloria.
Y luego nos lleva vendiendo al malo malísimo de la historia como si fuese alguien a quien temer y el caso es que todo el rato me venía a la mente el Drácula de Nicolas Cage y no podía tomarme a este señor seriamente. Same vibes tiene Cyrus, os lo juro. Un malo que no dé respeto... No sé, Rick.
Y sí, los personajes como ya he dicho cero evolución. Grace me cae fatal. Fijaros si la tía es pesada y tiene ansias de echarse todo el peso a la espalda, que hasta los propios personajes le dicen varias veces que pare ya, que no todo gira a su alrededor. Hudson mi pobre chaval, que era un personajazo y aquí es algo a caballo entre lo que fue y lo que pudo llegar a ser. Y los demás...pues en fin, relleno, como el libro en sí.
En fin, que si queréis echaros una cabezadita, es vuestra historia. Me fastidia, porque esperaba mucho más de una saga que me había gustado hasta ahora...pero este cuarto libro no ha sido para mí.
Este libro, con todo el dolor de mi corazoncito, es regulín tirando a malo. No es que esté mal escrito, pero es que hay 170 capítulos y creo que con solo 10 se podría haber explicado todo lo que ocurre en él. La sensación de relleno, de estirarse las tramas hasta la extenuación, de no saber qué contar y acabar resultando pesado...me ha superado.
Desde casi el principio solo he tenido ganas de que acabara la tortura. Es un libro lento, farragoso y sin evolución en los personajes (por muy épicos que me los quiera vender).
Leer Fulgor es como entrar en el agujero de gusano de la peli Interestellar: sabes cómo entras, pero vete a saber si sales de ahí. El tiempo/espacio se dilata y se contrae. How this book was painfully dragged out and also have the ending rushed at the same time is beyond me. So many new elements were introduced in what seemed to be in a completely arbitrary manner, and most of it felt pretty useless.

God I love this series so much! I went into it thinking they would be fun YA fantasy books and not much else, but it’s ended up being one of my all time favorite series. I love the characters, the relationship, the friendships, and the story. I love that Grace is independent and strong, even if she struggles getting to those points. She isn’t a weak heroine who is willing to roll over and let others protect her, and I love that so much. I love the references to books, and I love the music as well! Honestly, sometimes I think about the series and get emotional knowing the world and the characters aren’t real! Definitely one of those book series that unexpectedly burrowed into my heart.

I finally managed to finish this book! Compared to the other three, I really struggled to finish reading it. Grace repeating the same things more or less every other chapter did not help and many times the pace of the story seemed extremely slow to me. From the Impossible Trials on, I believe the story has improved.
P.s.: Many have died... How many more will have to die? Going on like this, only Grace will be left in the end 😅

Tracy Wolf sure knows how to stretch out a book, and NOT in a good way. This was unnecessarily long, I wanted to dnf it many, many times, so I struggled but I toughed it out and finally made it to the end.
OK, so this story suddenly takes a turn into a sort of Hunger Games/Percy Jackson tournament quest in order to hunt for a magical potion. And let me also add that for this book, Tracy Wolf turned into an informercials seller, throwing more and more magical tricks at us with "But wait, There's more!"
And the F***N trainings! Why did she have to spend the majority of the middle plot on Grace's demigod trainings, ugh I was so over it 4 chapters ago! and then the ending wasn't all that great, shocker! It was rushed, and it was predictable; give us a great ending if you're going to drag us on this long train of torture.
I am done with this series, I no longer care to know how it all finally ends. Thank God for libraries, because I didn't spend my money on this book. Godspeed to ya'll.

Schön auch, dass immer nur die Figuren sterben, von denen man als Leser praktischerweise immer auf Abstand gehalten wurde, obwohl sie angeblich so dicke mit allen und so wichtig sind?
Diese Schlacht am Ende. Ich meine... Wie alles einfach aufhört, während schlimme Verletzungen geheilt werden. Während Blumen wachsen. Wie Cyrus einfach abwartet und erst wieder überhaupt existiert als sich Grace bekrabbelt hat und... Ach, was reg ich mich überhaupt noch auf? 😂
Hab ich das aufgrund meines Kopfschüttel-Schleudertraumas eigentlich überlesen oder was genau hat Hudson ihr mit dem Ring versprochen? Wie lange waren die beiden erstarrt, wenn es nicht nur 4 Monate waren? Sie erinnert sich jetzt, kann man den Leser mal informieren? Außerdem wirkte die Übersetzung an einigen Stellen soooo grottig. Ich konnte ahnen, was im Englischen da steht, aber Redewendungen einfach Wort für Wort und nicht sinngemäß übersetzen, ist jetzt auch nicht der Königsweg. Und teilweise machen die deutschen Sätze auch nicht wirklich Sinn... Vielleicht ist das Original ein wenig besser?

Este libro me encató por un montón de razones, la primera porque gracias a este libro tuve la oportuniad de conocer a la autora de manera presencial y es sin duda uno de los highlights más importantes de mi vida. Ahora hablando del libro, les puedo decir que el desarrollo de mundo y de personajes es 10/10 y me encanta y me hace muy feliz eso. Soy la más fan de todo el condado por esta historia y por lo que le ha hecho a mi corazón de fangirl.
Las buenas personas viven vidas de mierda en todas partes del mundo, Grace. Yo por lo menos te tengo a ti.
Hudson va a ser siempre uno de mis amores literarios para toda mi vida, no tengo duda alguna. La relación que se desenvolvió en este libro me super encantó, porque vemos a Grace mpas confiada de sí misma, se empieza a conocer y a ver de lo que es capaz de hacer, mientras que Hudson siempre la apoyaba en todo. El equipo que forman como pareja, simplemente me encanta y en parte es porque me veo reflejada un poco con mi propia historia de amor, ya quisiera que se pareciera más a lade Hudson y Grace, pero puedo decir que hay pequeñas cosas que si tenemos.
Todo lo que iba pasando en el libro me iba dejando con la boca abierta, es que la historia está tan bien planeada y estructurada que no hay un solo cabo suelta que la autora no sepa y que no busque darnos la respuesta.
En toda mi amarga existencia, jamás le he temido a nada: no me da miedo vivir, y mucho menos morir. Fue aparecer Grace y ahora vivo en un terror constante.
Yo necesito el libro de Charm más que mis ganas de vivir, y eso es mucho decir. Es una necesidad saber que fue lo que pasó en esos cuatro meses. Lo necesito saber con todas mis fuerzas, quiero ver como se enamoraron, quiero verlo y saber todo, y obviamente más después de ese final de infarto.
Que también me dan ganas de leer el último libro de saga que es Cherish pero ese sale hasta noviembre, así que Dios me ampare con las ganas que le tengo a ese libro, y en general a todos los libros nuevos de la saga Crave.

La razón por la que no le di sus cinco entrellas, es muy fácil, después de conocer lo que Tracy Wolff me puede hacer sentir, no me queda alguna que ella puede hacer conmigo lo que sea. Pero después de saber lo que me hizo en Furia, tengo la esperanza de que lo vuelva a hacer, porque ninguno ha estado a la altura de ese segundo libro que es una joya en todo su explendor.
Eso no significan que los otros sean malos, al contrario todos en mi opinión son cinco estrellas. Pero me rehuso a darles el mismo valor que el segundo por lo que me hizo, me hizo llorar de la felicidad. Puedo contar con una mano los libros que me han hecho eso, son casi nulos, así que sigo en la espera de que Tracy Wolff lo vuelva a hacer.
—De eso va la cosa, ¿no? —respondo a medida que la verdad me inunda—. Cuando te centras en las cosas malas que pasan, solo te permites sentir dolor. Pero si recuerdas lo bueno de lo malo, tienes la posibilidad de recordar los momentos felices. Y la felicidad te cura de una forma que la culpa jamás podrá hacerlo. Mis padres me querían. Y yo los quería a ellos. Así que decido centrarme en eso, en recordar eso.

Aunque es un libro "tocho"....casi 1000 páginas...en ningún momento se me ha hecho largo o tedioso ya que no paran de suceder acontecimientos y la mayoría inesperados.
En este cuarto volumen de la saga ocurre ya la guerra que se avecinaba con el tercer volumen.
Me ha encantado la evolución de los personajes principales, Grace 😍 culmina aquí su evolución como ser paranormal y conocemos más en profundidad el poder de Hudson.
Pero también los personajes secundarios son maravillosos, me han sorprendido Flint y sobretodo Jaxon con su nuevo corazón de 🐉.
En ese elenco grupal que acompaña a Grace en la guerra entran a formar parte nuevos personajes como Dawud e Izzy y nos reencontramos con Remy 🥰 y Calder que me gustaron muchísimo en el tercer libro.
Al final del libro enlaza con la quinta parte de la saga donde sabremos qué ocurrió entre Hudson y Grace el tiempo que estuvo de gárgola porque por fin lo recuerda 💫✨y estoy segura que tendrá peso de algún modo en la trama❤️

Way. Too. Many. Things. All the things. A total "kitchen sink" scenario. Like imagine you decide you want cookies but can't decide what kind, so you literally throw every spice, sprinkle, chip and chunk you can find in and you're left with a total sweet, muddled mess that has no identity and ultimately leaves you wanting. I would like a word with the editor because, honestly, WTF?!
This book could and should have been about 300-400 pages shorter. It was sooooo repetitive. There were so many sidebars and mini-quests that it just started to drag on. I skimmed the last 100 or so pages because it was just underwhelming at that point. It's a bummer because I see the potential underneath all of the posturing and posing.
I am all for representation and inclusiveness, but when it's done for the sake of being trendy or trying to be relevant, it ends up not actually adding anything to the story and detracts rather than highlights those situations and characters. Like, the very fluid sexuality of so many of the characters doesn't seem genuine. And I'm going to be honest, the they/them pronouns took me a second to understand...I literally thought there were 2 people or something for like, 2 chapters! Especially when there are characters in scenes that they shouldn't be (references someone breaking off with one group but then suddenly they are also in a scene with the other group), which feels like those characters were just after thoughts thrown in to be controversial, or the editing sucked. Sorry.
Reading this book reminded me of when I took an astronomy class in college and we studied the constellations as pretty little connect-the-dot pictures and then we actually tried to look for them in the sky and you are left thinking, "how the hell did they get a scorpion out of five random dots in the sky?!". I gave the whole series a shot, but don't think I'll be reading any more from this series, especially not paying full price for the books.

Reading this book reminded me of when I took an astronomy class in college and we studied the constellations as pretty little connect-the-dot pictures and then we actually tried to look for them in the sky and you are left thinking, "how the hell did they get a scorpion out of five random dots in the sky?!". I gave the whole series a shot, but don't think I'll be reading any more from this series, especially not paying full price for the books.

Disappointed. This one didn't resonate with or excite me like the second and third books did. It fell a bit flat.
Update: After letting it sit for a few days I have decided to only give it three stars.
Second Update for May 2023 Reading: I am going to stand by my initial rating. It is a high three, but I will stay there. Things were drawn out that just didn't need to be. It felt like she was more concerned about word count than the actual story and being clean and concise. So much was repeated, over, and over, and over. It was ridiculous. This book should have been shorter than it was, and I like long books (that’s what she said), but this was unnecessarily so and hindered the story, flow, and enjoyment of it.

La gran decepción del año. Un libro tan largo no debería centrarse tanto en la protagonista y menos aún darle semejante protagonismo en absolutamente todo lo que ocurre, parece que sólo ella sabe como resolverlo todo por ser la reina gárgola, título que ostenta desde hace menos de un año.. Se ha vuelto una heroína insoportable. El personaje de Hudson está relegado al papel de compañero y de poco, o nada, sirve en este libro. La trama se centra tanto en Grace y en todas y cada una de sus emociones, todas ellas excesivamente dramáticas, que he perdido el interés casi al principio.
Me sorprende mucho la forma en que la autora ridiculiza a sus personajes. En momentos de tensión, en los que la trama empieza a subir de nivel, ella decide meter algún comentario absurdo o fuera de contexto que te saca por completo de esa atmósfera en la que, con mucho esfuerzo, te has conseguido meter. Los diálogos a veces no tenían sentido, otras eran pura sobreactuación.
Con lo largo y tedioso que se hace el libro lo resumo como un desperdicio de saga, que pudo ser muy interesante y Wolff lo ha devaluado hasta convertirlo en un hervidero de adolescentes hormonados que se creen que son dioses.. Y por desgracia les sale siempre bien.

Did not enjoy this at all. Grace showed NO GROWTH. Like AT ALL. It was constant doubting herself and the inner dialogues were cringeworthy.
The deaths of the Order were unnecessary. The death of Calder was unnecessary. This whole book was just unnecessary. The first three books showed promise but this book ruined it for me.
I expected more.
