The author adds a multiple part story that dives into the backstory of Flora the goth artist and Oscar the bald cop. Actual character development looms for out two main characters. The stories remain unapologetically supernatural and heavy on the mystic vibe and eldritch cats.

Volume 1 ★★★★★
Volume 2 ★★★★☆
Volume 3 ★★★★★
Volume 4 ★★★★☆

I evidently spoke too soon when I said in my review of Volume 2 that there wasn't a cohesive storyline, because the plot felt much more linear and fleshed-out in this volume—and it was my favorite volume yet! I immediately placed a library hold on Volume 4 and can't wait to read the next one. I'm happy we finally got to see some communication between Flora and Oscar!

It's been a couple years since I picked up the last volume, and this one does little to help me remember the situation and the characters, going so far as to leave some unnamed. And the writing is so vague that it took me a while to understand what is happening this time, but once I fell into the groove, I had a good time as our Goth heroine, Flora Cloud, deals with her childhood bully and a brand new bully named Symphonia, all with the help of Meawbin the Creepy Cat and all his many bizarre cat friends.

I'm going to try the next volume sometime in the coming month to keep up the momentum this volume has built.

A paranoid goth girl named Flora moves into a decrepit mansion haunted by creepy supernatural shapeshifting cats. Whacky hijinks ensue.

This is a really goofy slapstick comedy series where each chapter is a single page joke with a ridiculous concept. The series pokes fun at classic gothic horror cliches and tropes with wholesome cat-themed humor. Some of the concepts and subplots revolving around the main characters aren't that good admittedly, but all the stuff revolving around the creepy cats just doing crazy cute stuff is great.

Overall I enjoyed the gothic ghost story aesthetic combined with the funny cat jokes.

My rating: 3.4/5

Loving the art and the cute characters, but the storytelling is quite childish.

At least this one has more of a plot to it, hence the extra half star.

I think this book is a 4.5 but I love the series so much I leaned into the 5. It’s fun and different and full of cats. What’s not to like?

Finally some plot! Hanging in there for my daughter, who doesn’t like reading much but (like me) loves all things cat.

I just realized that I have not caught up with this series! Love this book! Our poor girl Flora finds out that Oscar took her sketchbook in high school. However, there is something more malicious and evil regarding the sketchbook that is beyond Flora and Oscar. As usual, love all the cats in all the forms! Caterpillar cat!! Love the artwork, the characters and the storyline.

Toujours aussi perché et amusant, j'ai apprécié de retrouver Flora et Creepy Cat, ainsi que tous les autres personnages dans cette aventure déjantée.

Hahaha, this is cute, but it's also book 3 so I've missed a few things! D:

It's sort of like if Garfield were a spooky cat that could multiply and do lots of magical things, sort of, although there's a big side plot to this one that's hard to explain without spoilers... definitely need to look for the first two books!

Third in series, I think I liked this one more than Volume Two! The longer story arcs were more engaging, and the classic one-page entertaining stories were still there and still cute as hell.

I have been noticing a few small editing errors - nothing that's taken away from my read though! In the occasional set of frames, the text seems to read from left to right, and then right to left a frame later. A little confusing when you aren't used to the Japanese style of reading manga!

My only beef with this series is the fact that it’s drawn as manga and poorly. The editor did a terrible job… a lot of the panels read right to left which is traditional, but then all of a sudden it’s left to right which is really confusing especially since this series is aimed at younger kids who are likely just learning how to read manga properly.

The art is cute, I like the characters and creepy cat is so adorable… if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to have a cat, this is spot on. But the style of it (art and story) should have just been presented as a graphic novel, not manga.

I am loving how this series is building. This one works in a continuous story, featuring a mysterious art enthusiast, a new creepy cat friend, and a bit of relucent teamwork between Oscar and Creepy. Love how all the characters came together in this one. And we finally find out the connection between Flora and Oscar!

This is such a fun series. Cute, creepy, and entertaining. The artwork is wonderful and I enjoyed the mystery and action of this one. Can't wait to read Volume 4.

Reading the third installment of Creepy Cat gave me chills, and I felt that Flora's character flourished even more. Seeing the magic behind her paintings was something truly enchanting in my opinion. I am saddened by how quickly I've approached the end of these adventures but I am excited for what lies ahead for our beloved characters!

These are just fun. Some of the humor doesn't translate for those of us who don't read a ton of manga, but all the cat humor will be understood by anyone who has ever befriended a feline. And the darkness is a bonus. Hello Wednesday fans. Why don't the Addamses have a cat?

The panels are NOT in correct manga reading order, which makes the story annoying to follow.

Love the art. Love the spooky, adorable, and paranormal cat shenanigans. Strong dislike that panels don’t follow the book’s own reading instructions.

It’s so ridiculous. I love the gothic styling and the addition of the most ridiculous shenanigans with the cats.
