Calm turns to chaos when a mysterious fortune teller comes to town.

At first, the fortune teller’s pleasant predictions amuse the residents of Harmony Lake, but when she uncovers deep, dark secrets that some people would prefer to keep buried, lives are turned upside down.

Mysticism turns to mystery when the fortune teller predicts her own murder.

When the finger of suspicion points at someone close to me, I’m determined to clear their name by finding the real killer.

Was the fortune teller’s tragic fate really in the cards, or did her secret identity and troubled past catch up with her? Were her psychic powers real or was she a crafty con artist?

With a little help from my friends, I predict we can find the real killer before the wrong person takes the blame.

I love this series, so I was super excited to read this newest book. Once again, the author gives the reader a well crafted story and well developed characters. I enjoy how the back stories of the characters, new and old, just weave together. It's fabulous to read a book where the characters absolutely feel like real people. I highly recommend this book and series. I received an ARC of this book from the author and I'm voluntarily providing an honest review.

A psychic Megan visits predicts a young man will deliver a message, her world will be turned upside down and things will never be the same. An interesting twist to this cozy mystery that I found engaging and fun to read. There are two new characters that hold great promise for future books, as well as the continuing development of relationship between Eric and Megan. I appreciate that past details are woven throughout the story so new-to-the-series readers shouldn’t feel at a loss about past story lines or relationships.

This is the eighth in the Knitorious Murder Mystery series. I listened to this. The series just gets better and better. We learn more about Eric and his family.

A fortune teller turns up dead; an Eric look-a-like comes to town and other strange things are going on. There are plenty of people upset with the fortune teller. Is she a scam artist? You might be surprised when all is revealed. We are also introduced to a couple with three kids vacationing. All of these seem to be related but how?

It was a well-crafted story. Plenty of twists and turns. Plenty of suspects to include Hannah’s policeman boyfriend.

I look forward to the next installment. I highly recommend this clean mystery.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this series and following Megan and her friends on these adventures. Once again, wasn't sure who the killer was until the end. Although some of the situations are predictable, I won't say which, I still find myself laughing and enjoying the journey. Can't wait for the next one. These books are fast and page turning from the first page.

What a fun,one intriguing read. A murder is, of course, the central focus of the book but what I particularly enjoyed was how deftly author Reagan Davis weaves together all the back-stories that flesh out the characters. She's made them multi-dimensional and done it in such a subtle way that you suddenly realize your quest to figure out the murderer isn't always your focus. For instance, why is Sophie the corgi suddenly retrieving only tennis balls only when you perhaps threw a frisbee or other toy? As the human of a corgi mix, I found myself puzzling over that mystery almost as much as trying to solve the mystery until the end.

It's the little, human touches that ring true to me character-wise. I found myself smiling at the new postal worker who has been misdirecting the mail. Rather than get angry and confront the worker, it seems the people in town, including main character Megan, simply roll their eyes and use it as an excuse to visit and chat with those whose mail they've received. In little ways like this, Davis introduces not just the cast of the story but shows how their interconnected relationships work as friends, customers, and neighbors. And, of course, clues emerge from all this otherwise seemingly innocent visiting.

Bottom line, I love this book series by Davis. Megan comes across as a real person, one you might talk to on the street or in her store, who is both smart and focused and human enough to have concerns about how a new character might impact her relationship with the man in her life. You don't even have to like knitting or even know how to knit to enjoy this story (I'm woefully inept at knitting), so give it a read. You won't be sorry. Intriguing mystery, characters you'll like, and an adorable little corgi who plays a central role in one of the story lines. Four paws up from my corgi girl.

Rest in Fleece is my favorite installment of the Knitorious Murder Mystery series so far. Megan, Police Chief Eric and several members of their "extended family" are on the hunt for the person who killed the town psychic, Mysti. The killer could be closer to home than anyone wants to admit. Scams, cheaters and long lost relatives only add to the mystery. The whodunnit always keeps me guessing. I love the humorous writing style and how the relationships between the characters continue to evolve. I can't wait for my next encounter with the Knitorious gang. I highly recommend this book and the entire series to all cozy mystery lovers

This book is so good; The storyline is original and has enough twists and turns to keep you interested!! I didn’t know who “did it” until close to the end. I love the characters in the back stories! This is one amazing author I really like her a lot!

I love the characters and the back stories. I really enjoy how the author interweave other stories in with the murder mysteries. Not everyone is able to do that very well.

I love the romantic scene between Eric and Megan it is really unique!

I enjoy the way the author unfolds each section so that we had a better understanding of what was going on until finally who did it and why is unveiled. Very good!!!

Megan is in for some surprises in this book. A fortune teller seems to be possibly at the center of everything. These characters are so fun in this series! Megan and her family’s lives continue as the murder mystery evolves around them. This is an easygoing cozy mystery series. I listened to the audiobook and the narration was enjoyable to listen to.

Surprises Galore

New characters. Missing characters. Another murder. More suspects. More disappointments . More solutions. Big surprises. Disappointments in story line. Still a good read!

I just can not put these books down. The series has just the right combination of suspense and how it intersperses with the main characters of the books and also interacts with other members of the community
I understand Megan prefers knitting, and there is a little bit of crochet in this book, but I would like to see other yarn related crafts involved.
But I’m a late bloomer to this series, so I will just keep reading, and discover how incorrect my “who dunnit” skills are.

Another good read

As usual the author did not disappoint. One of my favorite authors. I love how the minute I think I know who ‘did it’ , something happens and it changes. This is my idea of cosy mystery.

Yet another good book

No sexually explicit scenes.
No profanity.
No violence.

A good wholesome book that captures the character of small town Ontario.
I would love to be friends with all of the recurring characters.
I will repeat what I say in all my reviews. I'd be comfortable giving the book to my 13 year old grandchild or my 95 year old grandmother.

A good story

An unknown woman is killed, why and by whom are the questions that plague Megan and her gang of friends. When the pieces come together there's a happy ending.

Another reason to love Harmony Lake

An unexpected murder, knitting, a new family member, a couple love stories, charity knitting, a Corgi, and summer in Harmony Lake. If it weren't for the 7 months of winter, Harmony Lake being so far away from Winnipeg, not to mention a fictitious town, I'd be moving there in a heartbeat! Another great story by Reagan Davis.

Harmony Lake is the place to be!

This is such a charming series! Megan and her "modern family" are wonderful, and I particularly enjoy the old ladies' knitting mafia that runs the town. Eric and Megan have a murder to solve that raises more questions than answers, and too many of the suspects have a personal tie to the duo. Another well-written winner!

This series is just such fun, and the mysteries are great. I love the characters and the location as well. Wish I could go there, but it wouldn’t be the same (even if it does exist) without the people who live there.
