This volume was focused much more on the characters and their relationships to each other than on the pop idol music scene. Which is good, because these are great characters and the relationships are written in a way that's very real. There's a big twist towards the end of the volume, which is bound to have a huge effect on the plot going forward. I also really liked the bonus chapter, which gives Eichi's POV of his relationship with Mitsuki.

Mitsuki loves Eichi and that has kept her alive. She promised that one day would become a singer and they would meet again. But, it's been hard to keep her spirits up. Even the memories of Eichi aren't helping. And when it's let slip that Eichi has been dead for years, Mitsuki can't take it.

Will Mitsuki join her love in death, or will the love of another be enough to make her want to live?

This volume doesn't focus so much on singing as the previous two. It is more about character development and their relationships with one another. It's a sad but touching volume. I can't wait to see how the story continues.

Wait, he's been dead for years?

Here's a story which started out more sweet and fluffy than deep and serious (okay, she has a malignant tumor, I should have expected it) and then goes south. So much sorrow, so much heartbreak. And yet there's still so much hope. I'm liking this more as I learn the depth to this storyline.

Aku bingung deh. Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne ceritanya baik-baik saja. Tapi kenapa cerita ini logikanya ancur banget? Kayak ditulis oleh penulis amatiran.

2. Lho, jadi ibunya Mitsuki meninggal dalam kecelakaan mobil bersama ayah Mitsuki? Waktu mereka mau ngapain? Aku nggak paham.

My heart is breaking! I haven't cried this much because of a manga in a long time, and even though a lot of the subject material is sad, I never thought I would hurt this much. Everything is so tragic... I hope the ending will at least be happy.

We really got a lot of backstory on Eichi and Takuto, we finally know their stories and how they're connected to Mitsuki, and I just have to say that I feel really torn between who I ship her with more. I love the history that her and Eichi share together, but on the other hand, we get to see how lighthearted and sweet Takuto's relationship is with Mitsuki, a kind of levity that is much needed. I think at this point I'll be disappointed no matter what's to come.

Still, I must see what happens next!!

Meinung

Uhm, e adesso?

This one were less chaotic then the previous volumes so it was more understandable. I still think that the characters are too young for the lovestory aspect though and it seems that the author knows it too because the characters look older in the romantic scenes. Which makes me believe that the author knows that this is a little on the edge and a little farfetched.

OOOOH the plot twists! There's a lot different from the anime here and WOOF that was a lot of information.

I wouldn't say that the story progressed a lot, it was a lot of back story, but damn that was a lot more feelsy than either of the two before it. I really enjoyed this one.

Less pop idol stuff this volume, more diving into each character's motivations and relationship with death. Some great flashbacks too, and a big reveal towards the end that changes the perspective on the rest of the series.

This is the best volume yet. The emotions are so raw and believable. I don’t want to spoil anything, but Full Moon handles complicated topics in such a caring way. I am always more interested in characters than plot and every character is unique and wonderful in their own way.

Everyone’s connected, aren’t they??? And everyone’s back story is so damn depressing…
And that final twist at the end??? Wow! I wasn’t even expecting that. And Mitsuki knew??
