We find out that Allen survived that attack brought by Tyki. We learn more about how special Allen's innocence is, how it even saved him from Tyki's final blow. With the help of the Asia Branch, Allen attempts to recombine with his innocence and regain his anti Akuma weapon. While all of this is happening, we meet Miranda once again, but as an exorcist! She meets up with the main team and set off. While on their journey they run into an Akuma, not just any akuma but a level 3 akuma.

Goosebumps! I also forgot this part in the anime where Allen innocence is taken away, and his heart were destroyed by Tyki Mikk. Sheesh.

I love how there is no limit on Allen's innocence ability, i think it really impressive on how it keep being alive to protect Allen despite them broke into dust now. I'm curious on how Allen will activate and reform his innocence again.

Also, heyy we meet Miranda again! she become so pretty and healthy. I think ever since volumes 3, the action in this series is non-stop. It keep going on and there were no 'gap' between them.

4/5 After Allen’s run in with Tyki Mikks he was wakes up at the head quarters of the Asian branch of the Black Order. Lenalee, Lavi, and the rest of the team are ordered to continue the mission to find General Cross with out Allen. Miranda Lotto from volume 3 makes her triumphant return looking gorgeous as ever. This volume doesn’t let up pretty much non stop action. This is currently further than I have ever previously made it into the series both Anime and Manga. No idea who is on the cover though.

I don’t know if I find it annoying that Lenalee cries quite often throughout the series or if I think it’s a breath of fresh air, that she manages to be a badass and have feelings and to honor them at the same time. Time will tell.

This one was much better than the last installment, but still shy of 5* due to Miranda. Her ability was cool once in the Rewinding City, but it's a pretty passive ability, therefore very uninteresting to me. And she's crying. AGAIN. (And still no Kanda.)

It was interesting, though, to meet characters from the Asain branch of the Order, and seeing Allen through in the previous volume.

Allen may have lost his Innocence, but not his life. Rescued from the brink of death by the Asian Branch of the Black Order, they offer him the fragile hope of retrieving his power and returning to the battlefield. Not that it’s going to be easy. While Allen struggles to regain the shattered pieces of himself, his former friends have no time for mourn his lost. Lenalee, Lavi, Crowley, Bookman, Anita, and her crew must continue their dangerous journey across the sea to Japan, facing the most deadly akuma yet. Fortunately they have a new ally, a trained and powered up Miranda Lotto, now a fully fledged exorcist. Will her strength be enough to aid them in battling their way to their goal?
There was a slight lull in the action, yet an additional layer of depth and character complexity in this volume. Both Allen and Lenalee were depicted in beautiful, sombre panels, undergoing individual despair, followed by resolution. Miranda had some wonderful moments, showing her new found confidence of as exorcist, yet with some of her old awkwardness peeking out. Hints of Lavi and Bookman’s true purpose for dropped, along with how Lavi’s feelings are beginning to conflict with it. Anita, Mahoja, and the entire crew acted with touching heroism, even though they’re outclassed by the akuma and the exorcists. All of the Asian branch members were interesting, particularly Bak. He and Komui revealed compassion and wisdom beneath their eccentricities as they watched and worried over Allen. For all of these qualities, I give this four stars.

It feels so weird reading the books after watching the series. The storyline is travelling so much quicker in the book than it did in the series. In fact, the series seemed to drag out the storyline quite a bit too the point where you wish it would hurry up!

This book started from when Allen was killed by Tiki, and then his body was found by the security system from the Chinese Headquaters (still don't know what Fou was doing out there in the first place since it looks like she very rarely leaves the place), and also featured the beginning of the fight Lenalee had with that oversized Level 3 Akuma.

The series, it seems, stuck pretty close to the book; however, they did drag out the storyline across 10-15 episodes (which really infuriated me). I like it when storylines get to the point, so when they drag on I start to lose interest. This resulted in a number of filler scenes being added, which overall weren't necessary.

I am glad I watched the series though as if I hadn't, then I would most likely find the book hard to follow. Some of the scenes, when looking at the book are so dark you can hardly make out what's happening.

Overall, I did enjoy this part of the story, though. I liked that Allen wasn't dead for long, and that his innocence saved him. Looking forward to seeing how long it takes for him to get his upgraded, new and improved innocence in the book series.

Entonces, no se destruyó, slo se pulverizó, eso pasa con todas las inocencias o solo con la de Allen? Creo que solo la de él hace eso, o si no pos el plot no seria para tanto, no?
Teoría: así que quizás... el tenga el corazón? 👀 Chan chan chan.
AHHHHHH LA ENTRADA DE MIRANDA FUE HERMOSA! AHHHH QUE DIVINA! AHHHHHH DIOSA! DIVA! DIVINIDAD BAJADA DEL CIELO! AHHHH!! Se nota que soy fan? Y LOS NUEVOS TRAJES TAMBIÉN SON BUENÍSIMO! AHHHH LAVI LE QUEDA HERMOSO! AHHHH a todos la verdad uwu.
Puedo Shipear a Anita y a Mahoja? Si? Gracias uwu.

I was definitely considering dropping this series after reading the previous volume, but I decided to stick it out and hope that the story picked up and became the series that everyone praises, and I’ll say that it did not disappoint. My main problem with the series up until this point has been lack of story progression and hard to follow action scenes, but this volume starts fixing both of these problems. The artwork is becoming less cluttered and easier to see making fights more enjoyable. Allen is the best character by far and he is getting some interesting development in this volume with his arm gone and trying to reclaim his innocence weapon. While the volume is the best so far, it is hard to overlook the lack of power system to ground fights (I don’t need a power system to enjoy a series, but I think this series needs one, although this is a personal preference) and that I’m not sure where the series is going with the good guys trying to find things and the Earl wants to destroy those things, and if the heroes find enough things they win.

Yay our favorite head case is back! I love Miranda! Once again, I love the new character additions. Fou and Bak Chan are both very interesting. I also like that there's a lot of action, but they give it a rest on the gore. I also like that Anita, Mahoja, Bookman and Lavi get a bit more focus in this book. In fact, the only character that I continue to really actively dislike is freaking Lenalee! I realize I'm in the minority here, but I still find her whiny and melodramatic. I wanted to high five Lavi when he called her out on it (Bookman kinda high fived his face after that, but that wasn't exactly what I had in mind). Gotta say, I liked this volume WAY more than the previous one.

Allen Walker's situation becomes clear in this volume as he is taken in by the Asian branch of the church. It turns out his anti-Akuma weapon isn't quite as destroyed as first thought - it's been dispersed into a mist. Meanwhile, the other exorcists are battling it out with the strongest Akuma they've ever seen.

I am a little surprise by how many fans has Lenalee within the manga and outside. I pretty much liked this volume since it introduced a new type of enemy although it seems like an eternal battle i the sea.

Covers Chapters 57-66

Another really good volume! Everybody is still on the look out for General Cross while akuma are coming at them left and right. There’s a lot of emotional panels in this one too. Love the art style as always ❤️

Third volume was good. I found the resolution of what happened to Allen well done and raises a few questions and begins mysteries there. Yet I found the moment that showed that Allen could restore his power hopeful.

Le trait est toujours aussi fin. L'action est parfois un peu confuse dans les combats mais globalement c'est très beau. Cette série mérite le succès qu'elle a eu à l'époque.
