This one wasn't too bad.
This story was about Coral, a maid who loves baking. With this little hobby of hers, she has a few pounds over her twin sister, Billie who is a model starting to get some recognition, new contracts. When her sister has an accident and can't make it to the photoshoot with this renown photographer, Archer, she asks Coral to take her place so she doesn't miss this opportunity.
I had a little bit of difficulty to understand Coral. She seemed very shy, stuttered when she was nervous, emotional and teary-eyed. But her attitude with Archer was a little bit all over the place; some times she was shy, other times she was fierce and inhibited. It didn't feel natural. She didn't really have professionalism while taking her sister's place and I would've thought she'd be more serious and focused as she knew it was very important for her sister.
Archer was grumpy but very caring. He didn't want to make Coral cry and was very possessive of her. I kinda liked that he had a little obsession of taking pictures of her, even in the epilogue. He had a little bit of OTT in him that was pleasant. Overall a nice character.
Like all these Swapped Twins novellas, it seems that miscommunication and assumption are the drama instigators: The guy shows interest in the girl and when he says the name of the twin because the girl is pretending to be her twin, the girl is convinced that he is into her twin, even though he's never met her before. And to me that is the dumbest mentality ever: My sister’s name on his lips is like a bucket of icy water tipped down my back. Archer thinks I’m her. A successful model at the start of a dazzling career. A brave, shining presence—not a maid who hides away in her apartment. Other than that, I thought they had a nice chemistry even if it developed too quickly for my liking. The premise was nice and somewhat well executed. The pacing lacked again, but it was definitely better than the first two novellas. On a side note: I have to say, I find the cover lovely to look at.

You can read this one without reading the first two, but it goes in pair with the next novella Fake Maid, where the story is about Billie, her twin sister who swapped place with her. Pleasant read overall.

Didn’t like this novella at all. The FMC was so annoying with her crying at literally everything. She was supposedly confident in her body, but one little comment from someone and she doubts herself. The MMC was amazing once he got over his grumpiness. I have never been so sad and disappointed with a breakup before. He didn’t even do anything wrong. He trusted her and imagined their future together just to watch her get into car and drive away. All because she got scared and insecure. They’re wasn’t really anything I liked about this except the MMC.

I wanted to smack the crap out of Archer in the beginning. I love that Coral stood her ground. The bond she has with her sister is so sweet.

The maid and the photographer.
I’m not big on books that involve modeling or the modeling industry, no hate, they just don’t interest me (like books about boxers) but I really enjoyed this one. I think it was mostly because of Archer. I enjoyed his character quite a bit. His inner dialogue was possessive and sexy. This book also did a really good job of making me want to read the next one ASAP so I can find out what happened with Billie and the billionaire.

Falsa Modelo
Eu gostei bastante do começo da história, mas depois a coisa começou a ficar um pouco estranha pra mim. Pra começar, Coral era super tímida, tipo MUITO mesmo, do tipo que gagueja e que já usou a ajuda de um terapeuta (e o tratamento falhou, segundo a própria). Ela fica ainda mais nervosa com Archer, principalmente por causa da péssima primeira impressão que teve dele. Ela literalmente não consegue falar com ele. E, de uma hora para a outra, Coral estava abaixando a alça do vestido e se expondo pra ele, na praia, com toda a equipe dele em volta, em plena luz do dia??? Como uma pessoa que sofre com essa timidez excessiva, possivelmente chegando ao ponto patológico, deixe-me dizer uma coisa: isso NUNCA iria acontecer, não ali, não naquele lugar e principalmente não naquele momento. Desse momento em diante já comecei a ficar com o pé atrás. Pra piorar, a forma que ela e a irmã lidaram com toda essa situação da troca foi ridícula, egoísta e até cruel com os homens que elas juravam amar. Daí acabou de vez pra mim. Só não dei uma estrela em consideração ao começo legal que me cativou (mesmo tendo durado muito pouco). Só vou ler o livro da irmã porque ficamos sem saber como terminou o lado dela da história e agora quero terminar essa trama de uma vez por todas.

She won't be able to do the photoshoot but doesn't want to lose her chance to make it big. She begs Coral to take her place, and Coral finally agrees. But it doesn't go smoothly: she is bigger than her sister and she can't speak without stammering. In fact, when she first meets the famous photographer, Archer, he isn't very nice to her about the changes in wardrobe or her inability to talk to him. But then he gets a good look at her and is completely head-over-heels in love. But while Coral feel something for him, she also feels an obligation to her sister. She and her sister agree that they need to cut off their relationships (the sister took her job as a housekeeper that day and may have started something with the boss there). But Archer isn't ready to let things go.
Character development: This is my first book from this author, and I really enjoyed it. It was sweet and hot at the same time. I felt for Coral. I mean, I don't normally stutter, but I think I would be hard-pressed to talk to someone in that situation; the thought of being photographed like that is anxiety-inducing! Archer, for his part,did recognize what an a$$ he was at first and went about making amends. There was no bog grovel, but I don't think a bog one was needed. He simply showed her that she was beautiful to him.
Also noted: Beautiful cover! I would wear that dress. I don't know where, but I would!

This is a twin switch and the twins are complete opposites. I liked Coral and can relate to her on many levels. Billie is outgoing and gets hurt and has to miss her modeling gig which could make her career, so enter the twin switch. Billie will be cleaning a house for Eli and Coral will do the shoot with Archer a photographer that has a reputation of being hard on the models. He is taken with Coral at first look. This is a quick steamy and wonderful story, it is a quick read and it was a very entertaining story. Archer was a great character and I liked him. Great story.

The model-maker and the cake decorator
Fake Model is the third book in the Twin Swap series and is the first book in the Walsh twins, Coral and Billie, story. Coral and Billie are not only twins but best friends who has stayed together and supported each other with everything. Coral works as a house cleaner for tech billionaire Eli Koven. But her real passion is making and decorating specialty cakes and cupcakes. Coral is also as shy and quiet as can be and happy to come home and stay in at night doing her baking and decorating. Billie on the other hand is pursuing a modeling career and is larger than life. She likes to got o parties, gallery openings, red carpet events and meet fashion designers. One day Billie bursts through the door at home to announce that she has finally booked a photoshoot in two days with the famous fashion photographer Archer Westbrook, who is a model-maker. The next day Billie texts Coral while she is at work asking her to come and pick her up that hospital as they was an accident. Coral finds Billie with a cast on her wrist and bruises forming after a cyclist hit her on the sidewalk. As Coral does not want to cancel the photoshoot and her big break what is she to do......twin swap away and let the fun begin as the ladies each do the others job the next day.
Archer is a man who feels the pressure to make sure any photoshoot he does is perfect, after all he is the one that is responsible in the end. He is known to be gruff, short, bark orders, and just generally be an azz. So when "Billie Blue" shows up for the photoshoot and he is informed that the model is bigger than expected he is harsh to say the least. Coral being shy and also having a mild stutter does not say anything in response to his comment but her response says it all. Archer is a man on a mission once he sees the beautiful and curvy redhead and as he has fallen for her with one look. Things get interesting to say the least with the rest of the story.
I enjoyed this book and characters. It is way OTT, insta-love with some twists and fun with the twin swap.

Meet the other half of this two-part short story. Twin sister Coral, the maid.
The shy, quiet sister who doesn't want to be seen. She just wants to build her baking business.
Just take care of her housekeeping job, for the CEO who can be quite a charmer to some & a tyrant to others.
She cannot afford to lose this job. So when her sister Billie Blue has broken her arm & cannot take the modeling gig of a lifetime. She begs her shy, few more pounds, red-headed twin to take her place.
What she finds is another aggressive, bully, an alpha man that examples, criticizes & degrades her.
When he questions her measurements & weight, he says she misrepresented herself for this gig.
That is when Coral breaks down, crying, & stands for herself, while still being vulnerable.
That vulnerability is what the photographer likes. All of a sudden Coral is giving him the shots he needs & then some.

This was my first Cassie Mint book and I really want to read more of her books now.
Coral and Billie are twins. They're very close but also different. Coral cleans a billionaire's house and hang out in sunlit kitchen while her sister Billie was a model who goes to parties and gallery openings and red carpet events. Coral didn't like when people looked at her and easily begins stuttering.
Billie gets once in a lifetime opportunity but then hurts her arm, so she somehow convinces Coral to go in her place. They're twins after all and Coral didn't want to let her down. This was also a good opportunity to become more brave for Coral. She was sick of being such a crybaby.
Archer Westbrook is the photographer in the shoot and Coral describes him as a titan and as someone who looks like the grumpier version of reincarnation of Thor. Archer isn't what you could call the nicest person and the two doesn't get a great start with Coral not fitting to the clothes Billie was supposed to wear in the shoot. But Archer knows that Coral is the one for him and tries not to scare her.
All in all I really enjoyed this book. It's short and I love me some possessive hero who knows who he wants the minute they met.

SUCH A ROMANTIC STORY!!!
I loved Coral so much (she has an innocent vibe <3).
The hero is a renowned photographer and in the photoshoot, he meets the h. While taking Coral's pictures, she slowly creeped in his heart hehehe...
There was some action going on between the H and h (o^▽^o) during the photoshoot.
What I liked:
-The way the author describes the h. I love that I can feel the h's innocence from words alone.

Helping your sister may lead to love.
I kind of loved this story. It was short but entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Coral and Billie were very close to each other. They weren’t just sisters, but twins and roommates. Billie had trouble run into her the day after she booked the modeling job of her career. Since she didn’t want to cancel the job, she asked Coral for a favor. Against her better judgement, Coral agreed to help Billie by switching places with Billie. When Coral and Archer met, there were fireworks. Archer wasn’t sure what his issue was, but he knew that he wanted Billie (really Coral). Things got a little carried away and there was some drama, but it resolves quickly. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

The Icing On Top!
Loved this! Great instalove, even more so than Cassie Mint usually has. And don't we love a possessive hero, heroine finding her confidence and smutty smutty times? Coral was great, totally lacking confidence and a stutter that makes her self-conscious. She could easily have been annoying but her character was handled well and I was rooting for her from the start! Archer was quite the alpha, possessive and immediately drawn to Coral, he knew from the moment he started working with her that she was his woman. Definitely looking forward to the next instalment after what was teased with Corals sister!

Cassie Mint has quickly become a new favorite author for me so I am also looking for new releases. I was excite to read Fake Model and it did not disappoint! After her twin sister Billie beaks her arm, before a huge modeling job, she convinces her twin Coral to take her place. Coral and Billie maybe be twins but their personalities are very different. But meeting Archer will chance her life. Coral and Archer had amazing chemistry. Even though it is part of the Twin Swap series, it does stand on its own. Definitely recommend!

Great read
Brilliant book. Coral ends up doing Billies photo shoot for her the camera man seems moody but it doesn’t take long to realise he really likes her but Coral thinks he likes her as Billie.
Archer can’t believe the woman in front of him she looks shy but he wants her and have her he will but she bolts from the photo shoot when she comes back later he knows something is different. Archer turns up at Coral’s home and he thinks they having been having a joke at his expense but Coral has to explain and that she doesn’t want him to leave her ever.
