Kink involving jewelry is guaranteed to get my attention but the escalating stakes and personal growth is what is holding it. Juliette is starting to think about boundaries and being her own person and it makes the push-pull between her and Master that much more delicious. I questioned the ability to hold a reader's attention over 10 novelettes but Raven Jayne is doing it in glorious fashion.

This first portion is from my review of Obey - Lesson One and gives a little background...., but it is highly suggested that you read this series in order. They are not stand-alone books and are all about Juliette and her lessons to become the perfect wife.
Juliette comes from a long line of the elite rich. Rich beyond any imagination. And in this world, there are secrets and marriages are alliances.
Juliette has been promised in marriage for as long as she can remember even though she's never seen his face or even know his name. Her whole life she has been schooled to be his perfect wife.
Her father calls her to him and tells her that her husband sent her a gift. Although he isn't her husband yet. She has just turned twenty-one and is impatient to finally meet her soon-to-be husband and plan her wedding.
But the gift has conditions. She is to be sent for erotic training. When she arrives the next day at the appointed address there is no one in the conference room. Just a silver tray with a note telling her to remove her panties, put them on the tray, lean with her elbows on either side of the tray with the note between her teeth.
But she got tired of waiting and after thirty minutes got out of position and started to investigate the room. Which is how he found her. Her instructor. Who demanded she calls him Master. Who told her she failed the test in obedience.
Master is a gorgeous man with dark hair and striking green eyes whose presence takes over the room. She finds out that she has to pass Lesson One to get to the next lesson. Not only does he not disclose his name, but he also gives her no information on the lessons or the name of her husband-to-be who ordered these lessons.
Lessons to become his toy.
Lesson One is on obedience. She is sent to a famous Russian ballet studio for her first lessons. After weeks and weeks of training under Vlad, she finally understands the purpose of these sessions with him. It would make things a lot easier if she was told what they wanted from the beginning.
In Lesson Two, Juliette is sent to the famous painter Antoine, who again gives her no clue as to what he is looking for. She poses and sits for hours and hours and when the final work is done although the painting is erotic in context - it is awful. You can see the vacancy in her eyes - her wish to be elsewhere. Which puts her on probation and she thinks that she has lost her chance of passing these lessons and will lose her husband-to-be.
In Lesson Three, her instructor is Jackson, a sexual practitioner who is going to teach her how to have sex. She then is told that her virginity is not a gift to be saved for her husband. That her husband does not want it, but no matter how gorgeous he is and how much he turns her on, she can't go through with having sex with him.
In Lesson Four, Juliette has a box that holds three silver boxes with dates and times engraved on them for when she can open them. And a string of pearls. Master will be away for the week and these are to be completed before he returns.
Box one sends her to an exclusive jeweler. Evan is older than Master with a sprinkling of salt and pepper in his hair. He is gorgeous in a way that only gets better with age.
She is reminded again that everything asked of her is with Master and her husband's consent. He takes out his jeweler's loop and examines the pearls and confirms that they are exquisite. And then he puts those same pearls to use.
Box number two has a GPS transponder inside and leads her into the area of town with exclusive nightclubs, strip bars, and casinos. Her driver stops in front of The Cuffing Club a well-known sex club. Until these lessons, she would have thought the rumors made up, but now she knows differently.
When she arrives she is given an elaborate mask with feathers and asked for a safe word and then led to a private room that is decorated in the same satin colors as her mask. Two men immediately arrive and restrain her to the bed and leave. And she waits....something that she has learned to do patiently.
A woman arrives with a man and introduces herself as Mistress Fiona. Juliette cannot manage to go through with this lesson and uses her safe word. Mistress Fiona and her slave leave immediately.
She is distraught that she failed the test and that Master will not only be disappointed, but she will lose her chance of completing these lessons for her husband-to-be. So she waits outside the club the next day hoping that Mistress Fiona will give her another chance.
Box three is a watch and when the alarm goes off she is directed to the Law Offices of Gavin Thoreau and led to a conference room full of men. Gavin is a gorgeous man with auburn hair and wicked blue eyes.
When he asked for her presentation of the Q4 Analysis she starts internally freaking out. Did she miss something in her instructions? What briefcase is he asking about? What analysis?
Gavin teaches her what happens when you arrive unprepared.
Each lesson in Juliette's master classes to mold her into the perfect wife for the Client gets more erotic and pushes Juliette to how far she is willing to go to please her husband-to-be. But, Juliette is determined that she not fail. She has never failed at anything her whole life and she won't start now.
This book is very well written, but it will push your triggers even more than the last lessons. The authors bring you into Juliette's story and you feel her humiliation and determination to master these lessons.
We are still no closer to the identity of the Client (her husband-to-be) and her lessons are getting more sexually deviant as they go. So if you have triggers this may not be the series for you. Each book has you wondering the identity of her husband-to-be and what are the point of these lessons.

Book for the Master Class series show us the stronger side of Juliette. She has been come more forward in her thinking and deciding things for her self. She has tried to put Master in his place which backfired on her. She is once again sent to different places for learning lessons. Which she passes two of the three lessons. The one she failed she tried to have a do over but it ended up blowing up in her face. This decision almost lost her everything. Master decided to give her another chance as long as she keeps it to her self. Interesting series what will the next lesson be?

This is the fourth book in this series. Juliette must now learn to relinquish control. But this lesson may push her to far. There is a line she has never crossed. But her friend and companion help her figure out why she is so resistant to the idea. But she tries to fix her mistake while Master is out of town. But she breaks a rule she was not aware of. Can Master save her? Can she ever get anything right? This series is very compelling. All I want to do is read the next one and then the next.

I never read series until then are all written. But I did for this one. I couldn't wait. I also never spend $2.99 for less than 100 pages. But I am. I can't help myself. It is gonna kill me to wait for the rest of the books.

Master Class is a series of short serial novels. I believe the author is planning on 10 short books and so far, the first 4 are released. To understand the story you need to read them in order:

As a quick refresher: In book 1, we meet Juliette who has excelled in everything she has studied and is ready to embark on her arranged marriage, but she learns that her future husband who she has never met wants her to take one more series of classes before their wedding. In this book she meets the master who is to ensure she is trained to her future husbands’ specifications. In book 2, Juliette’s journey continues when she is painted by a famous artist. She continues to be challenged by the lesson she is to learn and when it is apparent she is failing, her Master has a lesson for her. In book 3, she is confronted with her v card and that it is not a prize her husband wants, but will she be able to learn the lesson he wants her to learn? Will she be able to keep her feelings for her Master out of the way?
Now in book 4 we have Juliette taking on a new challenge, but when she quits the task early, will she be able to fix it before Master finds out?
Overall, I’m not a huge fan of these serials as I really want to read them faster than the author typically publishes them. In this one, I was quite frustrated when she tried to reach out to Master to get guidance, but he wasn’t available and so she tried to solve the problem herself which turned out to be the wrong thing to do. It’s like they don’t want her to have a brain at all which is really starting to irritate me! Other than that, I am enjoying the lessons so far and I can’t wait to see what else she has to learn to be the perfect wife. Who really is Master? Who is her husband to be? So many questions!!!

WOWZA! Lesson Four brings lots of salacious, steamy action! At one point though, our poor Juliette decides to exercise her "right of refusal" and then immediately starts re-thinking that decision. Too late though. Actually, I didn't think she messed up as much as she thought she messed up, but hey, I've got a bit of a different perspective here. Naturally, she thinks she can have a "do-over" and fix it so she is "perfect" in Master's eyes. I was like screaming at my Kindle, "NOOOOOOO! Just let it go for a change!" Well, so sorry Juliette. You should have just let it be. Now Master is all bent out of shape, again! What is to happen to poor Juliette now?! I'm becoming more and more attached to Juliette's sexual awakening journey. When are we going to find out who her future husband will be? Will she even want to attach herself to just one man by the time she gets done with all these sexual exploits? And what's to happen to her faithful friend and "lady-in-waiting" Jane? I'm really starting to like her attitude! I'd say I'm more than a bit hooked at this point. Bring on Offer: Lesson Five, please!

I've been loving this series so far, watching and reading Juliette's sexual awakening has been fantastic and I can't get enough of these lessons!!!!!
In lesson four shes finding out what it means to submit! When Master sets her another task ( only this time it comes in three tasks ) Juliette is happy to get this lesson rolling! Only when she's faced with something she can't handle and makes a error in judgment, she thinks she can backtrack the mistake and fix it before Master finds out!!! I was screaming at my kindle saying please Juliette just drop it you're only gonna make it worse for yourself and yep I was right!!! Will she be able to keep this error from her soon to be husband? Or will she fail and the mistake coming back to haunt her?

OK seriously my kindle is going to burst into flames with the way this series is heading ahead.
With Juliette finally free to now explore her desires but only by people vetted by her master.

But nevertheless this journey is getting hotter and spicier and this book has already set the bar high I can only imagine what Master is going to let Juliette do in the coming books.

We continue on this journey with Juliette and now she is left alone by M to complete her next tutorial.
As Juliette comes to term with submission, she gains confidence in herself and finds the reason behind one of her limits. So to recoup her mishap, she tries to arrange a redo and at the same time she displeases M and endangers her future in this journey. This chapter of the story is raw and not for the faint of heart but it is a pleasure to go through this journey with Juliette amd her friends.

In Lesson Four Juliette continues her training. When she slips up and tries to correct an error, she almost ends up ruining everything. Can Juliette keep her mistake from her future husband, or is her mistake something that will end up coming back to irrevocably change her future.

I haven’t been able to put any of the books in this series down and Submit was no different. It was everything I was expecting, having read the earlier books.
Juliette is now up to lesson 4 and now she’s had a taste of the link her secretive betrothed desires there is no stopping her. But does she push it too far this time trying to right what she sees as her wrong doing? Will Master to happy?

Juliette is learning more lessons and this one is getting a little tricky. With Master away, she can't ask for anything and one mistake seems to have ruined everything she's worked for. Things are definitely getting more interesting. That ending, cannot wait to see what happened next.

I need more of master! She has to end up with him in the end. I was proud of her for finally getting a bit of a backbone but she kept backing down! I’m so curious what possible lessons are still coming. This poor girl needs her happily ever after….preferably, with master.

This is book 4 is the Master Class series. The lessons continue and this time Master isn’t around to supervise. So, what’s a girl to do?! Get in trouble of course! These books and lessons keep getting hotter and harder for her. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
