the way these two have stolen my heart omg. I adored their story sm. I literally couldn’t put it down. there was angst here & plot twists. the tension between both of them was everything. Ohhhh and the jealousy between them !! Yess. now the only thing I did not like was there is cheating here & I felt like it could’ve been prevented if a certain someone followed her damn heart but overall I enjoyed this story.
it’s crazy bc I felt like Charlie & Lex’s story has repeated with their daughter. I’m not really into love triangles but the way this book had me hooked.
I loved how this concluded Amelia & Will’s story. What a journey.

Spoilers he ain’t the baby daddy of his One night stand but………
So I had a feeling that I wasn’t gonna like this second story of the duet but yet I downloaded it and read it only to confirm my suspicion. So Will has a one night stand with someone who’s having an affair with her married boss and just when he and Amelia look like they’re getting back together her parents say he’s the father of the flings premature baby and she’s dead. Of course it turns out that he’s not the dad but in the end, the happily ever after? Amelia is attached after only three days of seeing this baby in a hospital and decides that she wants to adopt a child from his one night stand. Of which he’s not the biological father at all. Of which he had no connection with this woman beyond a one time drunken hookup. And her reasoning? I want to make sure the baby goes to a good family? She is a STUDENT and newly reconciled with Will, this is not a good time for a decision like this???? So immature and strange plot twist. And honestly this entire book was all about rich peoples problems lots of affairs And while I love it down and dirty, a lot of the dialogue was just stupid smut with no real spice. Like what did the one night stand even have to give to this story? Other than to give them a baby to adopt? Like this is kind of stupid honestly I’m always up for a new author but I don’t think I’ll ever read another one of her books again.

Little disappointed. I didn't care for the odd family members and their crazy dynamics. Wills Dad is a total creep. Just a lot of unnecessary dialogue and incidents that weren't needed. Like Amelias car accident added zero value to the story. Even though I was rooting for Will & Amelia to reconcile they did it rather quickly after she just breaks off her engagement. The whole one night stand, baby drama didn't fit the story. It was like the author was compensating for Amelias miscarriage in the first book.

Amelia and Will grew up together as their family’s are bonded friends since before they were born. There is a 10 yr age gap between them but were close early on.
Will a bad boy CEO and business associate of Amelias dad, lives and works in NYC.
Amelia just moved across the country to starting her first year of college at Yale to follow in her moms footsteps to become an attorney.
Will’s parents also live In the city so while visiting Wills mom she suggest she go visit Will knowing they haven’t seen each other in quite a few years.
Great angst, great chemistry everything that makes for a page turning forbidden romance. There is a book 2 to their story so cliffhanger beware.

The only reason why I still reading this is because the first book have a unfinished ending. And well the story of Amelia and Wil continues here and it wasn't a big deal. Not only the situation of be true and have the balls to accept the love between them. Probably I would like the story but I feel lost when the other characters mentioned the past and how I probably liked reading first their story but the author doesn't tell you that. Well I hope feel with the energy the read the series of Lex and Charlotte and the others but now i just want read other stuff.

I love reading age gap and second chances, I’m all about conflict. This one is a little difference because they’re family not blood related, (mothers are besties) but they call each other parents aunty and uncle.
There were feelings of betrayal mainly from Lex. How could he, a boy who he thinks of as a son betray him like this. There was animosity between them both. A bit of resentment and also disappointment. Hurt feeling from both. The truth, their connection couldn’t be denied. Life wasn’t fair to them, they shouldn’t have to be apart and feel ashamed because it was uncomfortable for everyone. I absolutely loved how their story ended. It was beautiful moment. Now on to real trouble. Miss Ava Edwards, please step on up. I love how Lex says ‘she’s going to be the death of me’. I love her and I know I’m going to love her story.

Amelia and Will’s story continues and Kat T. Masen has blown me away. This is a love triangle with a bit of history repeating itself and it has all the angst you can’t wait to sink your teeth into.
I devoured this book, and with a few not so little twists and turns I couldn’t stop even if I tried. It has just the right amount of everything to keep you captivated and enthralled just to see what happens from one chapter to the next. I could feel every emotion in every page and all I wanted to do was jump in those pages and be a part of this amazing story.
The whole gang is back from the Dark Love Series so you can just imagine the fun and shenanigans your going to get as well as all the emotional angst.
Kat T. Masen writes with a passion that draws you into the story, and has you wanting to delve deeper into the characters and what makes them tick. It’s that passion that makes this book the gem that it is and one that for me is one of my top reads this year.

The trouble with us is the satisfying conclusion to Amelia's live story. She's been mourning the loss of her love Will and finds herself falling back into the arms of her first love Austin. Meanwhile in London, Will is ready to return home to the States but is struggling with the news that Amelia is now engaged to Will. The trouble with us highlights the struggle and angst both characters feel towards their past and current decisions. Amelia and Will have so much tension and it's easy for the readers to feel the same. This story includes plenty of scenes with the all the wacky families for humor, scenes of jealousy and life defining moments for our main characters. This series has been a joy and I can't wait to see what comes next! Hopefully Ava will be next and have a doozy of a story to keep up with her wild flair.

Oh my, Kat has done it again. This book gave me all the feels. There were times when I was covered in goosebumps with emotion and then tears in my eyes with the sadness. But also there were times when I was laughing out loud. Cue Eric! He is one of the best characters Kat has ever written in my opinion and I’m so glad he made a welcome return in this book. He was so funny.
I don’t know what it is about these books but I really feel like I am in the story with them, I am so invested in all the characters that I feel everything they go through.
Will and Amelia are the ultimate couple. Talk about a power couple, definitely Lex and Charlie mark two! There are so many twists in this story that made the book so compelling.
I love that the message of this book is that family is everything and with their love and support you can get through anything.

What Will wanted, he was going to have, regardless of who he hurt, especially his family, in her heart and mind, Amelia knew, was forbidden, but it did not stop him, and it did not stop her, and it did not stop them, but the heart wanted, what the heart wanted, and what he wanted was her, she knew it too, and in the end, they could not deny the inevitable.

The secrets, the lies, the twists, the turns lead to the inevitable, the truth, each hurting their friends and family in the process, of an illicit affair that they could not deny, even though that was not their intention. There is a perplexing tangle of hurt, anger and denial, powerful in themselves, the deception, pain, and motives, which becomes all the clearer with revelation of Will and Amelia’s relationship.
The different point of views told a telling story, it holds so much mystery, adrenaline seeking suspense, slow burning passion, revenge, friendship, lust, loyalty, trust, it will hook you, have you turning the pages to find out more. This book had it all – love triangle, one woman, two men, family turmoil, cheating, forbidden, bone melting steam, brooding angsty yet dirty talking alpha, there love a slow burn that will break your heart and put it back together.
The secrets, the lies, the twists, the turns lead to the inevitable, the truth, each hurting their friends and family in the process, of an illicit affair that they could not deny, even though that was not their intention. There is a perplexing tangle of hurt, anger and denial, powerful in themselves, the deception, pain, and motives, which becomes all the clearer with revelation of Will and Amelia’s relationship.
The different point of views told a telling story, it holds so much mystery, adrenaline seeking suspense, slow burning passion, revenge, friendship, lust, loyalty, trust, it will hook you, have you turning the pages to find out more. The backstory of our characters defines who they all are now in the present, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters.
Their story was raw and sensual, as it was powerful and confronting. It was fast paced and thrilling, it made my heart race and soar to unfathomable heights. The author knows how to write, to ensnare her readers to ensure they will come back for more, if I could come back for more I would.

Let's begin! So I kept seeing this book pop up on ads on Facebook & on Instagram so I decided to finally take the plunge and read this!
This review will serve as a review for both books!! I enjoyed this little series a lot! I loved Will (though he had some manwhore-ish tendencies & was a bit of a dick at times) I loved Amelia! I loved them separately and I love them together!!
There is a 10 year age gap happening here between these two and just a little bit of taboo love happening as well. I also really loved the family dynamic happening in this book. From Amelia sister Ava and her relationship with her mom. Her dad was a bit much at times and then Will's parents were a hoot especially his dad!!
These two went through hell to get there HEA, but im glad they did there's a good amount of twists and turns to get there at times I was ready to punch Amelia in the head and vice versa with Will. All in all they got their heads outta of their asses because true love always wins my friends!! Also the smut in this book was done tasteful and not super overboard! Also I really appreciated not drawing out the separation and not adding unnecessary drama at the end!!
8/10 - wound definitely recommend!!

A beautiful ending for Amelia and Will
This is the book Teo for Amelia and Will. I read out of order and started with Austin’s and Ava’s story, but I am glad that I circled back. Now I understand better why these two were so in love but struggled so much with trust issues. They had been in a secret relationship that really didn’t help their love but instead it stressed it (in book one) too much where they almost did not recover. Add to their situation that they were forced to give their relationship up by outside sources. Now in this book two, it’s about four years later for both Amelia being in NYC and Will being in Europe. Both of them had suffered life changing losses when they broke up but neither of them knew what the other had gone through since they never communicated either. Now Will was determined to head back to the USA after his forced departure and after seeing a post the the love of his life, Amelia, was engaged to be married to Dr. Austin Carter. Will is determined to get back the love of his life. The tangled web that this story weaves will flow into Ava’s life too. Read On!

Loved this duet I’m really not a fan of age gap romance but as i had read the previous stories of previous characters i just couldn’t not read this and i am so glad i did.
I loved Amelia and Will they had grown ip with each other, fought with each broke each others hearts but these two couldn’t be more perfect for eachother. It was a long road for these two just like Amelias mum and dad but it was such a great story.
I loved how much Will was like lex even though they weren’t related they were just the billionaire power team and i loved how head strong Amelia was and even though she had been through so much she really new where her heart lay.
Another awesome book in this series and i can’t wait for the next story even though i have no idea who it’s about that snippet at the end has me hanging on for the next book.
If your a fan of Kat t Masen and this series you won’t be disappointed and if you haven’t read anything of hers yet it’s a must i couldn’t recommend this author or series enough

I am binge reading this series because I am in the mood for trashy romance books that I can hate. That is the only reason I am tolerating this nonsense. Because I am just in such a hateful mood.
FOR THE RECORD, i dont care what else happened in this book. THEY CHEATED. One star for that. Hell, zero stars if I could. Disgusting. I read this book just to pass time and suspected that there might be cheating but despite knowing that still makes me wanna punch these characters. And all this unnecessary drama. Cheating MCs and then OW pregnancy scare? Then turns out that it was not Will's child in the first place.
They treated Austin so horribly. Especially Amelia. She did not even have the courtesy to properly break up with him. Pathetic charcaters. I guess the writer lacks imagination since she has to reuse plots from previous books, uses cheating and other cheap events such as OW pregnancy drama as plot devices.
As for the characters, they are unoriginal, unattractive, snobbish, selfish, shallow, superficial, horrible pretentious rich pricks. Every single one of them.

I have been eagerly awaiting getting my hands on the conclusion to Will & Amelia's story, and even though it seemed to take forever and a day until it reached my kindle, but boy was it worth the wait.
So many questions were answered and my heart did break for Austin - he is a genuine good guy and I do hope he does end up with his own book & HEA - but by the end of the story I was basically fist pumping that Will & Amelia overcame all their obstacles to be together.
There are plenty of twists and turns throughout the book that had me flipping the pages just to see how it all unfolded, and it was honestly worth that roller coaster ride of emotions for me. Now that epilogue has me beside myself with what & who the next book will be about - and I cannot wait!!

i came here expecting drama but that’s not was i got.
also, this was supposed to be a love triangle but that lasted like 2 seconds.
the first book ended with a cliffhanger, of amelia ending up in a car crash and then book 2 starts 5 years later with her engaged with austin (her high school boyfriend), like ??????? what was that for.
girl, you don’t even love him, wtf are you doing
and lets not talk about the plot and the way the author thought it was a good idea to throw millions of tropes out of nowhere.
the baby plot ??????????? no thanks. it felt forced af.
also, why there are so many characters and why is uncle rocky (i think that was his name) so weird. if i had an uncle like him i would never talk to him.
kinda disappointing, i hope ava’s book is better

Amelia is ment to be his forever, true love is suppose to win & Will won't stop till she's his again.
Such a tense part of their story from beginning to end, never quite knowing in which direction it was going to take.
As much as I feel for Austin, he was the one daft enough to not see how hesitate she was. Everyone else could see the spark, he just choose to ignore it.
Absolutely love Uncle Rocky, he's the embarrassing, horny brother in the dad role 🤣.
How Nikki puts up with him is anyone's guess.

Will & Amelia are 🔥
This just may be my favorite story and couple in the Dark Love/Forbidden Love generational saga by Kat T. Masen. Will & Amelia are Lex & Charlie 2.0.
I was pulling for them from start to finish. Everything about Will & Amelia's story was love & passion personified. And I appreciated that both characters evolved from Book 1 to Book 2 in The Forbidden Love Series, growing separately and together.
All the spice, sass, & steam of Kat T. Masen's previous books in this saga, but somehow even more dynamic and compelling. The more Masen I read, the more I love her work.
